It’s epidemic: P.D.S. rages on

McCain P.O.W. mockery? Check.

Hack-edited video? Check.

Rampant sexism? Check.

Festering conspiracy theories? Check.

They can’t control themselves. Back off?

They just can’t.

I am glad Obama commented on this situation and applauded him for it on another thread. I don’t think he has any control over KOS because I do believe some of those posters are even left of him. However, I do believe many here are frustrated with the lack of consistancy with regards to reporting or even some accountability. Katie Couric talked to a KOS blogger at the DNC and I wonder if she encountered this guy again would she question him about his unhinged peers? Or maybe she’ll just stick to the important stuff like how many houses he has?

Once one enters the abyss, there is no escape. One can only go deeper.

As establishment Republicans, RINOS, country-clubbers, whatever were doing everything they could to distance themselves from their base, the Democrats were embracing the worst aspects of theirs — the leftists whose energy and relentless lust to destroy they have long admired. The result for the Democrat party is it has money to burn and the freedom to go wherever the leftists want to take it. The result for Republican is that they are cash-strapped and have no program other than making deals with Democrats. With some miracles that may change, but any nation that has to count on miracles to save it is in more trouble than language can describe.

From an article in Time (linked on Hot Air), the town of Wasilla are supporting them, and her family are supporting her. She needs to know that decent Americans (mostly Republicans) are supporting her and their family as well.

I am very proud of how Sarah Palin is handling this personal family situation.

Here is the deal, I was born in the middle of the baby boomer generation. I have 55 FIRST cousins, and i am the 5th youngest. 40 out of 40 of the olderst cousins (all born between 1938 and 1950), HAD to get married in the 60’s. We are an anglo celt heritage family. Obviously, my cousins were very frisky in their youth and young adulthood. Surprisingly, most of the marriages lasted, one of them just had their 40th anniversary party this summer.

So, will Sarah’s daughter’s pregnancy put me off from enthusiasticlly promoting this ticket? Heck no. They are an average family, JUST LIKE MY FAMILY, and thus, they know how average americans think and feel.

Obama, who wasn’t even raised in this country in his formative years, is VERY CLUELESS about the average american family. He just can’t relate. On a side note, a lot of my cousins are pro-choice, because they are liberals, but none of my cousins or their kids have had an abortion. Funny how this one thing so divides this country. One of my cousin’s kids who is in her early 30’s has trouble conceiving. They went through so many hoops to adopt. If more kids were carried to term, more couples could adopt.

I have a friend who thought she was pregnant several years ago. I asked her what she was going to do (she had casual relationships, no serious boyfriends and she was promiscuous). She said she was going to have an abortion. I asked her why she didn’t let it be born and put it up for adoption. She told me that she could never give it up if she carried it to term. So I said to her, “so you would kill it instead of letting it be born in the first place?” She said, yes. WTF??? I don’t understand how people can think like that. It turned out to be one of those pregnancies in the fallopian tube, so it was never viable to begin with.

I think this election is going to be a landslide. Regular families are not going to allow the nutroots to take over this country. I also think Palin will have a lot of down ticket pull.

This is a little OT, but “Family Guy” is on (yes, it’s a terrible show), but the husband and wife are running for the school board and he wants to win so bad, he calls his wife a “slut” in an ad and shows a picture of her in a nightie. He asks the question, “is this the kind of woman you want your children to see?

Any of this sound remotely familiar to anyone? Sound a little desperate?

AJ – you are on fire! The left has been “hope”ing for a cataclysmic flood in NOLA so they can whack W and the Republicans. Too bad, nothing to see there. The show goes on. By the way, most reasonable folks with teens understand that “suprises” come up (even in the BSR family) and we deal with them appropriately, just like Gov. Palin’s family.

If this is the best the left can do, I am very optimistic about November.

Not to forget – he has already tossed a few of his “dear friends and mentors” under the bus, not so convincingly. Does anyone think he will turn his back on a group that is his largest group of supporters?

McCain obviously hit a home run picking Sarah Palin, the proof is in the rabid attacks that have started and which we all knew would start, the only reason it took this long is that it came from left-field, it’s taken this long for them to come out with the knives. We all need to hang tough and let them dig the hole deep enough for them to bury themselves.

Yes, Obama was smiling until the followup question asked if his people were involved at kos, then he got all steamed.

Look, let’s get it all out. Sarah belonged to a witch’s coven while a member of the Hell’s Angels and had babies she sold to Arabs as bomber fodder before she had the drug addiction. Every man within 100 yards automatically looks at her butt and therefore she can’t be a good executive and we must tattoo an “A” onto her breasts for her daughter’s behavior and vote for the guy who was 100% wrong on the surge. I think that about sums up the campaign since Friday.
