I would say that is not enough. They are the same thugs that he pandered to at the Kos convention. So, it’s not as if this is the first time Obama’s ever heard of Kos.

In addition to telling them off with a “farewell diary” – which only political web-peeps would ever see – Obama needs to very specifically, with no ambiguity, denounce the Kos site’s hate and slimy attacks in a public statement.

Only that would display he is actually acting in good faith based on priciple.

Otherwise his close association with Kos should remain his albatross, something to be brought up vigorously and often.

That statement was meant to give the impression that he “takes the high road”… which he does not…

Along the lines of what commentor Will Amos wrote…If his campaign really wanted to put a stop to this, Obama’s operatives would be in touch with KoS telling him to stop. Which clearly has not happened.

I know this is above my pay-grade, but something has been gnawing at me all day concerning this story. You see, there seems to be one critical element that has been omitted from the back and forth arguments concerning Bristol Palin’s pregnancy. That would be the right to privacy. Why would that ‘right’ not include Ms. Bristol Palin? Should she not have the right to maintain her privacy as she struggles with her personal choices for her baby, her family and herself? This was deemed a fundamental right in Roe v. Wade. Since that ruling, a woman’s right to privacy has been such an integral component of the left’s mentality, and to the Democratic Party, that it has been their defining principle and party mantra for over 30 years. They will allow no discussion or opposing view into their midst. Does this right only extend to liberal women? Are the Dems not the party of inclusion? Does the ‘right to privacy’, nee the ‘right to choose’, only include termination of the pregnancy? Can it not include the ‘right to life’? Can the baby not be carried to term as a ‘choice’? Or have we again been exposed to the surreptitious and hypocritical nature of the Democrats’ party platform? What is the real agenda at play here? There is no grey area here. Either a woman has the right to choose, with a constitutional right to privacy in doing so, or she doesn’t. If they are lying about Roe v. Wade, what the hell else are they ‘blowing smoke’ about? Just wonderin’
