And still more sneering from Democrat women

By Michelle Malkin  •  September 4, 2008 07:33 PM

Those who can, do.

Those who can’t, hold conference calls and mock the skills of their superior political opponents.

This is Kansas Democrat Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, who was once buzzed about as a possible Obama VP pick and gave the stiffest response to a State of the Union Address in history in January. Here, let me show you:

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Sebelius participated in a DNC conference call with other Democrat women to dump on Gov. Sarah Palin’s brilliant performance last night.

Smell the sour grapes:

Governor Sebelius of Kansas and Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz of Florida, speaking on a conference call organized by the Democratic National Committee, went further, portraying Mrs. Palin as a political novice being carefully choreographed by Republican Party leaders.
“She mastered the words written by the Bush speechwriters and delivered them well,” Ms. Sebelius said. “Women were proud of the fact that she delivered her lines very well….No doubt about that.”

Yes, again with the speech-writing line.

Can’t they find something original?

I would like to thank the US media for doing such a grand job this last week of lowering expectations by portraying Governor Palin - whoops, I mean Hick-Burg Mayor Palin - as a hillbilly know-nothing permapregnant ditz, half of whose 27 kids are the spawn of a stump-toothed uncle who hasn’t worked since he was an extra in Deliverance.

How’s that narrative holding up, geniuses? Almost as good as your “devoted husband John Edwards” routine?

I trust even now Maureen Dowd is working on a hilarious new column mocking proposed names for the Governor’s first grandchild. Perhaps Richard Cohen can just take the week off and they can rerun his insightful analysis comparing the Palin nomination to Caligula making his horse a consul. Whereas we sophisticates all know that if McCain were as smart as Obama he’d have nominated a dead horse to be his consul. No wait…

I posted this in elsewhere, but I think it bears repeating:
Why is the focus still on Hillary’s female voters? Sure, maybe some of her voters will switch to McCain because Palin is a woman. However, the genius of picking Palin is that she appeals to the majority of Hillary and Edwards voters: blue-collar white males with union membership who go to church and own a gun. Weren’t these primary voters voting more against Obama (for various reasons–some reasonable and others not) than for Hillary?

This is getting beyond bizarre with the rote caricaturization of Palin as some sort of cross between a Stepford Wife and a ventriloquist’s dummy.

The harder the donkeys try to keep the beat with the “She’s got a speechwriter!” meme, the more they sound like programmable robots themselves.

But they don’t notice how they increasingly marginalize themselves in their pitiful attempts to pidgeon-hole Palin.

It bears repeating: When you’re stupid, it’s impossible to comprehend that what seems like a brilliant strategy to you won’t come across that way to someone who isn’t as stupid as you are.

It’s about time for the jackass party to swap out the donkey in favor of “Wile E. Coyote.” At least this way, they’d be consistent.

Know how Obama could afford Ivy League prices?

New evidence has emerged that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama was closely associated as early as age 25 to a key adviser to a Saudi billionaire who had mentored the founding members of the Black Panthers.

In a videotaped interview this year on New York’s all news cable channel NY1, a prominent African-American businessman and political figure made the curious disclosures about Obama. (See Video Clip Below)

Percy Sutton, the former borough president of Manhattan, off-handedly revealed the unusual circumstances about his first encounter with the young Obama.

“I was introduced to (Obama) by a friend who was raising money for him,” Sutton told NY1 city hall reporter Dominic Carter.

“The friend’s name is Dr. Khalid al-Mansour, from Texas,” Sutton said. “He is the principal adviser to one of the world’s richest men. He told me about Obama.”

Read the rest in the link above.

    Very interesting.

Here’s what my uber-liberal cousin said to me in an email yesterday.
“well I guess I am glad she is on your ticket… not mine. What a ninny and
how insulting when there finally is a place for a woman on the ballot they
pick such a poor representative of the gender. If he wanted a woman there
are several seasoned political women in congress and as governors…
instead he chose the mommy ticket in her cutesy little girl hair do
yelling outright lies and jokes. I think social services should intervene
on a parent stupid enough to expose a retarded four month old to all the
germs of a convention… and the lights and noise alone could cause
permanent brain damage… he appeared drugged into insensibility.”

But not a word about social services when the protesters in Washington plopped down in the middle of the road with their kids to stop trucks carrying military supplies, or the weirdos in San Fran dragging their toddlers to the they gay freak show earlier this year. I just don’t get it. I must be a ninny too.

    Can’t they find something original?

    Of course, not.

It is just sour grapes, as you noted, Michelle. Kathleen Sebelius has a 62% approval rating from the people of Kansas. Sarah Palin’s popularity amongst her constituency in Alaska is 89%. Plus, she has more executive experience than Sebelius’ candidates, Obama and Biden, put together.

    Speaking of Unhinged Democrat Women:

    http://newsbusters.org/blogs/geoffrey-dickens/2008/09/04/olbermann-has-angry-breakdown-over-9-11-video-tribute-gop-conventi

Here is a copy of my email to MSNBC regarding Keithetta Olbermann’s snide and self-righteous remarks over the 9/11 video shown last night at the convention.

    To: letters@msnbc.com

Subject: Keith Olbermann’s Typical Whiny-A$$ Behavior Towards Anyone With Whom He Disagrees and Which is Getting Relly Stale

    To Whom it May Concern,

Tell Keith Olbermann to get a grip. Showing 9/11 footage is no more politicizing for the GOP than the media doing their best to show as much footage of our dead troops coming home from war in an effort to sway public opinion. Keith is an avowed member of the 2 biggest groups in America who live under a bubble of hypocrisy. The media and the Democratic Party. Ever wonder why your network ratings suck? Look at Olbermann, and you do not have to look much further. Keith was a terrible “sportscaster” (I use that term loosely) at ESPN and is now a terrible “pundit” or whatever the h*ll you call a self-righteous smarmy ba*tard like him.
    Thanks for hearing my grievance.

    Regards,
    travlinman

What did we expect from Olbermann. Whose last name, by the way, translates from the ancient Proto-Germanic langauge to “wishes to be a real man, but is stuck at girly-man for eternity, while whining about it at every opportunity”. Not exact, but pretty close per my sources.

    And the beat goes on…

The lovable voice of women everywhere. Who is so tender-hearted, so compassionate, that she reaches out to the least of us to share any message of hope…unless you happen to be conservative and your message does not fall into line with her personal philosophies regarding politics. Another fine example of the “inclusive and tolerant” crowd on the left.
How many conservative women (and men, to be fair) watch Oprah, or the Oxygen network, in blissful ignorance of what goes on behind the scenes? I know the decision on Palin’s appearance may not be set, but have a feeling it won’t come together. I did not know about the Clarence Thomas rebuff until I read this piece from Drudge. Maybe it is time to get the word out and see if we have any power in our numbers. She has the right to have whoever she wishes on her show. We have the right to spread the message regarding her intolerance, and to turn the channel.

That’s the scent of fear we smell in the air around Democrats!

The fear that the more Gov. Palin is seen and heard, the more obvious it will become that it is the Democrats who are the racists, bigots, homophobes, sexists and not the Republicans.
