Obama is clearly losing control of his power and his political apparatus.

His head is spinning so fast he looks like Linda Blair.

Or perhaps,

CHICAGO (CBS) - An estimated 123 people were shot and killed over the summer. That's nearly double the number of soldiers killed in Iraq over the same time period. Who intervened and left a bigger and bloodier fiasco? George Bush in Iraq or Barack Obama in the Southside?

From AT. Many of those killed from neighborhood Obama organized

Yes, whining indeed.

I've been a registered Democrat since I was 18. That's over 30 some years now. Inertia is probably the reason I have not changed party affiliation before now. However, like Zell Miller, the Democrat Party left me. I think it is time that I formalize that departure.

The Wizard of Uhs is on The O’Reilly Factor now. Anybody watching?
Nope - not then, and not when it repeated late night/early morning.

I've no use for O'Reilly anyway. I only watch when Laura Ingraham in on, either to put Bill O' in his place, or to take his place (preferably the latter). 8)

I guess I missed it but I didn't see Republicans dissing anyone but Biden, Obama, and Reid.

As far as I know I am an ordinary American. I have a job that I go to Monday through Friday. I spend time volunteering, working on our house with my husband, hanging out with friends, spending time with family, and enjoying the outdoors. I have problems that I work through and yes, I help others do the same. I even grew up in a household with very little money, put myself through college, and worked hard for everything I have. I even saw my parents struggle to pay medical bills (I was a sick little girl) and have to decide between keeping their home or getting me medical attention. I didn't hear anyone dismiss me or my concerns at the convention in St. Paul.

Oh wait...I think I know why I am not "ordinary" in Sen. Obama's eyes. I pay my bills, live within my means, and believe I should get to decide how I help the people in my community. I don't want lots of government programs and I believe in following the Constitution. Now I get it.

My tranlation of that email...

Michelle:

Give us more money. So we can get elected and tax you into the poor house while we vacation on Honolulu.

Sincerely,

The Obama Campaign.

I cannot figure out what is wrong with these people.

I guess they actually do think we're stupid; that we can't remember; that we can't read their very words; that we are empty tombs like they are.

Exactly what does a community organizer do and how of them are there?

Substitute "Al Sharpton" for the words "community organizer" and you will pretty much have the idea.

All around bad move for entertainers in my view, alienating half your public for a few moments grandstanding.

That's for sure. Look at Alec Baldwin. He had a good career going until he freaked out on Conan O'Brian's show.

Oprah become a political activist this time around. She came out in support of Obama during the primaries, even touring to promote him, until her popularity became affected. Now if she brings on Palin she may alienate more viewers. It is tough to play both sides once you've committed to one.
