The shrilliest of the shrill Democrat shills is calling Gov. Palin “shrill?”

Sen. Harry Reid isn’t about to back away from a fight, even with the VP pick. This response comes from Reid’s spokesman Jim Manley after Sarah Palin attacked the senator in her speech tonight:
“Anyone who knows Senator Reid knows he never backs down when he’s fighting for what’s right and that he always stands up to John McCain when he is wrong,” Reid’s spokesman said.
“Shrill and sarcastic political attacks may fire up the Republican base, but they don’t change the fact that a McCain-Palin administration would mean four more years of failed bush-Cheney policies.”

Update 12:55am Eastern. Oh, triple-crikey. Democrat Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (a mother of three herself who was profiled sympathetically in the old WaPo piece I blogged out a few days ago) is on CNN seriously arguing that nooooooo one on the Left has argued that Palin can’t juggle motherhood and the vice presidency at the same time.
Rep. Wasserman Schultz, meet Sally Quinn and Ed Schultz, etc., etc., etc.

Georgetown University professor Deborah Tannen, who has written best-selling books on gender differences, said she agrees with complaints that Palin skeptics — including prominent voices in the news media — have crossed a line by speculating about whether the Alaska governor is neglecting her family in pursuit of national office.
“What we’re dealing with now, there’s nothing subtle about it,” said Tannen. “We’re dealing with the assumption that child-rearing is the job of women and not men. Is it sexist? Yes.”

I just went over to HuffPo to see the reaction. One guy wrote a fair piece that said Sarah did better than expected, but the rest of the articles and all of the comments just trash her.

Michelle, when I even think about Harry Reid, all I get is a taste of bile in my mouth. It is the same thing. You know that makes Harry more valuble in some parts of Asia than he is as a “leader” in the Senate here in the US.

This is beautiful proof that they have, indeed, completely flipped their cookies. They have completely lost their ability to keep track of all the lies they have been telling. There have been so many coming out so fast over the last 5 days that it was bound to happen, but to actually witness this full-fledged melt-down of the entire Left is unprecedented.
Where-as we had a slim to none chance of winning back both Houses, and were going to have to settle with merely keeping the Presidency, we now have the perfect opportunity to get all three.
Please, don’t waste this chance. Do the right thing and keep exposing them. They cannot help themselves in all the lies and such, but it would be a true crime not to hold them to everything they have been saying and doing. It will be decades before they could ever hope to recover from this.
They really are dangerous now, and maybe all the joking about a new Civil War may not be so funny.

No Bounce for MccCain/Palin After Speech
Overnight polling data suggests that Obama has moved to a 69% – 2% lead over John McCain, even after Gov. Palin’s rousing speech last night. 48% were undecided and we are pretty sure that there is no margin of error.
This poll was conducted by members of Daily Kos who identified themselves as ‘crack statisticians’ and their data represents a cross-section of registered voters in Berkley, CA. Well, it would have been a cross-section, except that the cross is not allowed in Berkley, as it might offend someone. The standard deviation was very high as everyone we measured was deviant. The actual sample size was n=4 people and not a normal distribution. It would have been n=5, but this one guy over in the alley behind Ben & Jerry’s passed out and would not wake up again.
The Obama campaign has asked the Congress to approve emergency legislation putting these ‘crack statisticians’ in charge of vote counts in every swing state during the November election. Sources close to the Obama campaign told us that if the emergency measure passes, they can guarantee a landslide victory for Obama come November. We also have information that Obama will use his ‘messianic’ powers to cause the dead to vote. We understand that for some reason this power is very strong in areas like Chicago. Not that it was ever safe to put a loaded weapon in any of their hands.
Gov. Sarah Palin is eventually going to reshape the face of modern Feminism and women in general, and I can’t help but think this entire country and all it’s population will be ever so much better for it.
