I asked last night how the hell the moonbats penetrated the RNC convention floor.
He just interviewed the Indiana alternate GOP delegate whose identity was stolen, allowing the disrupters to get onto the floor for McCain’s speech.

Of course, this will get no mention in the MSM. Now, had it been the other way around and some conservative group did the same thing at the DNC convention, they would all over the evening news and roundly denounced.
Does anyone know if charges will be pressed?

Keep in Mind that a certain GOP Congressman who had delegates to this convention was holding his own “Counter” convention just blocks away.
And of course, nothing will happen to them as a result.

I wonder if the law enforcement folks in St. Paul/Minneapolis will treat this as an identity theft ? In my mind, that’s what it would be – similar to the theft of a driver’s license or employee ID to be used to masquerade as the rightful owner –
i.e. theft of an employee swipe card to gain access to a secure area on private property –

This is one of the guys who heckled McCain last night. He says he got his pass from a Ron Paul delegate.
That came from Newsbusters and Booker Rising, which I linked above. It looks like there were multiple sources for the badges.

I was videotaped in Minnesota outside the XCEL Center taking on the Code Pinkos. I am trying to obtain the tape.
When they complained about a police state and overaggressive police tactics, I set them straight.
I told them:
“I can prove you are wrong in 60 seconds. You claim the police use excessive force. I know this is wrong because I begged them to do it and they wouldn’t. I asked those cops (pointing towards them) to use tear gas, rubber bullets, and batons. I wanted Kent State 2008. They said no because we live in a democracy. So sorry to disappoint you, but as badly as you want it, you will not be savagely beaten. Now be quiet before I come back tomorrow witha razor and shave you all under your armpits.”

I do believe the FBI ought to be looking into these thefts because while they are American terrorists they could have been true terrorists…..and identity theft to go with along with the charges.

Keep in mind that there were two incidents. The first was the Sarah Palin speech on Wensday where Code pink used that delgates passes.
Then was incident last night. Its very possible that those were MSNBC badges.
Rubber bullets, have they simply gone out of fashion, or is there a shortage? It sounds harsh, but I want rubber bullets, Medea Benjamin engaging in one of her crack-fueled “direct actions,” and a video camera. It’s all I ask for.

No, because if you watch the video, you’ll see that the police couldn’t do anything because they had credentials. And if you have credentials and get that close to the stage, you’re not committing a crime — technically.
Apparently, having credentials that someone else gave isn’t a crime in itself.
Now if they bashed someone over the head and tied them up, that’s a different story.
My question is WHO gave them those credentials, and if it’s pointing to MSNBC, do you really think any heads will roll over there? No, they’ll be backslappin’ and high five’n each other.
No turnabout possible on this one. Even if we stole Code Pink’s identities, all we’d likely get is collection calls and garnishments

So we know how Code Pink got in, now somebody tell me how Adam Kokesh from IVAW got in. he was the clown standing up in the black t shirt with the banner How do you win an occupation?.
Their claim is that someone gave the passes to them outside as that were not going back in (it seems they are 1 day passes). If that is true, then that person should be in a great deal of trouble. If not, then the passes are either stolen or forged, either of which should lead to prosecution. Isn’t impersonating a government official a federal felony offense?
Watch the media rip into the RNC for suppressing ‘free speech’ if that happens, never mind that the charges would be theft or forgery, never mind that these idiots were denying Palin’s right to free speech by their actions.
And after this, how the HELL did the protesters get into McCain’s presentation the next day??? Are the security people working for the dems?
Got to Gateway pundits blog he says the delegate who’s badges they were is claiming that they were stolen from her.
Security may be tight, but unfortunately not 100%. But it is more scary that it was breached twice. This is inexcusable! I assume that officials have discovered how they obtained these passes to prevent such lapses again. Too many crazies and terrorists out there.

I heard her being interviewed a few months ago on the Mike Medved radio show. He asked her that same question. Her answer was that she had changed her name many times over the years, and she thought that “Medea was a great womyn and had been badly mistreated and very misunderstood”.

Actually I suggested last night that the media may have provided passes for them. They haved sunk that low.

Don’t throw them in jail–keep them out, close enough to be seen and faintly heard, and at a safe enough distance for Sarah-cuda to aim and shoot without distracting or alerting them.

I do question the “fitness” of the security for the RNC. Thankfully. nothing really bad happened. It could have went like this:
The idea that these tools would be charged with any sort of crime and see any jail time is laughable.

Oprah has refused to have Palin on before the election. She is willing to risk her show and her magazine – but she is certainly not risking her money. I hope that the Republican women, if there are any, who watch Oprah will turn her off. Nothing better than a ratings drop as a reminder of who actually makes the show and allows her to pay her bills.
I didn’t realize that was Medea. I thought it was one of those “Breasts, not Bombs” kooks. It looked like she was trying to pull her own top off. I literally shuddered.
One small flaw in your story. Achmed would have killed her instantly for comparing him to a pork product.
Why were they released? They should be charged and jailed.
One of the videos Michelle linked to, the one that showed the interview with Madea Benjamin, shows a red badge, the thumb in the photo is deliberately covering up the word “media”. The badge in the interview had a #4 on it and said “Media Floor pass” this means it was for Thursday so couldn’t have been used by Benjamin on wednesday but she could have used a day 3 pass that looked the same, with a 3 on it. I find it very amusing that they are deliberately covering up the word “media” part of the pass in the video.
Those floor passes are given out by the press galleries at the convention and they are intended to be “temporary” floor passes but its not policed very well. Could have been any independent media that gave it to her too. Although yes, each badge is numbered and can be traced back to whomever it was issued to and I’m sure that was done. But it doesn’t mean they will ever release where it came from.
It is now reported that Medea Benjamin was wearing the identity badge of Strom Thurmond. An unidentified security guard is quoted as saying, “I looked at the badge then looked at the face, looked at the face and then at the badge. I swear, it looked like the same guy to me”. When asked what he thought when the face recognition softwear spat out “DEAD”, the guard answered, “yeah, but I thought that it meant LOOKS DEAD, not really dead, dead”.
Liberals, Progressives and Obamanites. The collective term would be ObamaNation or Abomination depending on syllabication. (spell checker let it through!) Security guards and Federal Officers should not have to deal with these goons. Let the delegates do it!

I hope the RNC does indeed check the bar codes on the credentials used by the Code Pink members. Then I hope someone interviews the people whose badges were used to get to the truth in this matter. In secure office buildings a certain percentage of security badges are lost or mis-placed each day. It would be interesting to know if that were the case here. If, on the other hand as has been alleged, MSNBC provided credentials to the protestors (possibly to get a story?) they should be held responsible and accountable. Perhaps the network should be banned from attending future conventions should this be found to be true. I imagine that having to cover a national political convention from the outside whilst others have full access will cause heads to roll. It’s simple market based economics.
This was a serious security breach. Someone without photo identification that matched their credentials entered dressed as a buffon and no one at the Uniformed Division of the U.S. Secret Service and TSA who were security at the doors, nor the St. Paul police or U.S. Secret Service, as well as Republican Party security officials who were patroling inside the convention hall noticed these two pink buffons nor did anything about it until one of them was running down the corridor towards Palin while she was making here speech. Worst of all, no delegate noticed anything and reported it to security. Why wasn’t she tackled by a delegate when she started her outrage?

I’m no oil painting myself, so I try to refrain from comments about beauty, or lack thereof, but reading MM’s post (yesterday?) about the dumba$$ Herald reporter and *hairstylist* from Boston (oh, the ignominy!), my reaction was to wonder just how the hairstyles of the Code Pinkos reflect their take on current events.

Btw, Michael Medved interviewed one of these Code Pink-ers today on his show and she told him some convention-goer GAVE their passes to the Code Pink girls. I figured that had to be BS and I’m sure Michael wasn’t buying it, either.
Want a road map? One of Obama’s favorite lines is how many disaffected Republicans are ready to follow the Messiah. To claim that “disgruntled Republican Delegates” gave them the credentials fits that trope – and might save them from charges of theft.

I guess it’s the cop in me coming out but I swear if I was there and even within jumping distance of either of those two I would have got my 15 minutes of fame by putting a clothes line on ‘em and dragging them out of there using the most painful wrist lock / arm bar control hold I know, all on world wide TV.
Then I would hit all the talk shows ( sure would dig getting close to Kelly Ripa) And then on to “The View” my friends, oh yes.
All kidding aside what I don’t get is why they are so gently helped to the door, hell one of them broke away the first time and tried to get back to the stage- Why are the Secret Service not putting them in a hurt locker? They tend to be much more cooperative when you add a little pain compliance to the equation.

It did create a ‘teachable moment’ for my kids, because of course this Medea character said she’d had a First Amendment right to free speech. Medved tasked her on that, saying that free speech does not apply to private individuals on private property. I gave my kids examples – nobody is permitted to walk into a shopping mall and begin to harangue passersby; none of our local megastores (like Target) will permit canvassing or signature-collection on their property. Protestors are frequently required to stay back X number of feet from a group or activity, and/or have a permit, although protests are certainly legal….and so on. No, Medea…you do not have a right to free speech. And you didn’t have an invitation. Gate-crashers always get bounced.
I’m sorry, but whether they had “credentials” or not, these two should have been locked up for the remainder of the RNC as a precaution.
They obtained those credentials under false pretenses, they were not the original owners of those credentials, and were only there to cause problems.
The Secret Service was far too lenient on them,not to mention WAY too lax on security. There should be a couple of agents putting back on their uniforms and wondering why they were so stupid as to get thrown off Presidential Detail tonight, if there is any justice.
Looking back at how Pres. Bush was treated at BOTH his inaugurations as well as he last 8 yeas, these people who ran security for the event as well as the SS should know better, especially with what these creatures were doing and threatening to do outside the arena.
It is time for Medea Benjamin to stand before a court of law and answer to treason and sedition charges and to be thrown into the deepest, darkest hole that the United States has and forgotten.

Delegate badges did not say “media floor pass” they didn’t even say “floor pass”. Delegates badges were red but said on them, e.g. Florida Delegate, or Michigan Delegate, or Ohio Delegate — you get the picture; along with the requisite day’s number 1,2,3 or 4.
If those passes were still on the women when they were hauled off the floor, security would have known immediately where to go to find a security breach had they been Delegate badges.
As for “why would she lie”, well that question answers itself.
“Why would she lie”? Gee…I dunno. Because when I think truth, honor, justice, and the like, the first ones I think of, that comes to mind is always “Code Pink” and other uber-Liberal groups.
I am sure there were COUNTLESS “disgruntled Republicans” swarming out of the place that night. And to even consider for a moment that “Code Pink” or any of the other “Protesters” would ever stoop to outright theft in order to get their clean and bathed and stylish faces on the evening news to promote their cause just shows an incredible bias and cynicism as I have never seen before.
Medea Benjamin herself is the most honest, sane individual I have seen in quite sometime. It’s a wonder she is not running for Government Office unopposed as it is. I only wish she were my mom.

It took me a moment to get it; what I meant by the several times over is that I am descended from several of the original Mayflower passengers. In genealogical terms, one would say several times removed to indicate time span or distance from.
I agree – it made me more than a little angry when one talking head mentioned how much make-up Mrs. McCain was wearing, and how old her skin looks when you see her in person. Well, ‘scuse me, but she isn’t eighteen, or even thirty or forty years old. She is an older woman, and an elegant, poised, and attractive one at that.
