Then I decided…I know, I can be a bit foolish at times. Curiosity is what it is…to go down and read the replies. I was NOT surprised at all to find those that approved of it, nor the ones who made comments on how to make it even more vile. Of course there were those that were against it as well, either out of fear that people would report it to E-Bay or to appear to have a slight level of a conscience or even maybe that they do have some sort of a level for real…though the fact they are on that site at all kinda eliminates that thought.

But what really got me was this poster:

I’m pretty new here but I really didn’t expect to see something like this. I hope this isn’t the usual tone here.

Apparently this person has not done any “research” prior to signing up for the site, or else s/he is the most clueless person wandering the planet this morning, for to not pick any single topic in their comments section and not see that this is not just demonstrative of what that entire website is about and represents, but to actually see that this particular piece is a bit tame in comparrison shows that maybe this person should leave immediately and realize that s/he is affiliated with millions and millions of Liberals and Democrats that feel that way, act that way, speak that way and s/he should rethink their political stance and Party affiliation.

I think that came out right. Too much blood in the caffeine system this morning.

This would need to bypass the chain and plop on the Marketing director or the Legal Counsels desk. I would think that the Executive Committee would be interested in the misuse of eBays trademark.

I contacted ebay earlier today via live chat, and brought to ebay’s attention a web site that is using ebays corporate image in smearing a family with a Down Syndrome baby. I assumed ebay would not want to be associated with that, so I reported it. The chat person provided a link where I could email your Support and Safety team. I did, and got an email which referred me back to this chat site. Perhaps ebay does not care that your image is used in this manner. That is your response to this? I guess ebay doesn’t really care how ebays image is used. I can assure you there are many others that are concerned of this, and will be concerned about ebay’s lack of action on this.

You don’t need to help me at all. I was of the understanding I was helping ebay, but if you don’t care how your image is used, I guess I don’t care either. I am sure the image will be linked widely all over the internet.

In the chat text I posted previously, ebay referred me to a link to which I could send an email. I got the email, and it refers me back to their online chat.
