Latest smear: Palin called Obama a “Sambo!”

By Michelle Malkin  •  September 6, 2008 02:52 PM

Tons of readers are sending the latest, most pathetic smear against Gov. Sarah Palin.

It is laughable beyond belief.

One “Charley James” accuses Palin of exclaiming the following after Obama defeated Hillary:

“So Sambo beat the bitch!”

Read the entire “investigative report” here, which comes off like a really, really bad Onion parody.

If you think these things should just be ignored, take a look at how it’s already spreading:

***

For every nutball blogger who spreads it, there should be 50 to defuse, debunk, and beat it down.

The smear merchants aren’t going to let up between now and Election Day. Neither should we.

Case in point: Bill Maher sliming the Palin family and baby Trig.

***

Oh, and there are disgusting racists out there who smeared a black politician as a Sambo.

The truth: It’s the Left, not the Right, that’s guilty.

The racists were bigoted liberal hatemongers who mocked black GOP Maryland Senate candidate Michael Steele with the epithet.

Pass it on.

More is at stake here for the dems than simply electing BO. Palin represents death to the liberal agenda. Attacking her put them in a no-win situation; smearing her results in a backlash and debating fairly on the issues results in losing the election. Hillary attacking Palin will result in possibly losing her senate seat in the next election. Tight poll numbers will drive BO nuts and be fine for McCain. Even the pollsters are troubled by the inablity to predict this race.

CW4_KGP You guys were in a good bar fight last! Here is some simple advise. Before you toss that next beer bottle, drink the beer first and follow the below rules. You’ll be happier and may win the battle.

Six Rules of Critical Thinking in Science

    1. Is it falsifiable?
For any explanation to be considered science, it must be falsifiable. It must be possible to obtain some evidence that would falsify the claim. This is what makes science science, and why most significantly evidence matters.

    2. Is it logical?
All conclusions or predictions drawn from an explanation must logically follow. This is important because explanations are tested by evaluating such predictions.

    3. Is it comprehensive?
Does the explanation account for all of the available evidence? If not, then how can it possibly be true? This means you cannot pick and choose among the available evidence and select only those items that support your explanation. To be a viable alternative explanation, all the available evidence must be explained.

    4. Has everyone been honest?
Anybody offering an explanation has an obligation to weigh all the evidence and reach a rational conclusion. You always must be on guard of self-deception, and you must be willing to abandon any explanation if the evidence contradicts it. Science makes progress when falsified explanations are abandoned and replacing them with new explanations.

    5. Is it replicable?
Any evidence offered in support of an explanation must be capable of being obtained independently and confirmed by someone else. If something repeatedly cannot be confirmed independently, then the original evidence becomes suspect, and so does the explanation it supported.

    6. Is it sufficient?
Is the evidence offered sufficient to support the truth of the explanation? The belief we place in an explanation must remain proportionate to the amount of credible evidence that has been accumulated in its support. Remember the burden of proof rests on the person putting forth the explanation, and the more extraordinary the claim, the more solid the evidence required to support it. Further the absence of falsifying evidence is not the same as the presence of evidence that confirms a claim or explanation.

    Conclusion
If an explanation or claim passes on all six rules, then you are justified in considering it to be true. Of course, this does not provide a guarantee of truth, but it means you have a good basis for supporting the explanation. If an explanation fails one of the six rules, then it should be rejected or at least treated with great skepticism.

Monkey boy is currently on some news talking head round table with the rest of the empty heads laughing at Palin in their oh-so condescending sinus echoing chortals and congratulating each other on their oh-so witty and oh-so cosmopolitan views on the “inevitable” second coming of Jimmy Carter.

“Palin is seen as Trahlar trawsh by all the very best of voters? Oh Mawtha! how exquisitely witty of you! You must tell me how you do it!” (girly squeal of self congratulation)

And looking at the round tables that’s exactly what these weak jawed limp wristed cabbage heads think of us, and that’s where the next Palin smear is coming from. I saw trial balloon after trial balloon floated this morning and the theme is going to be “If you’re smart you’ll realize Palin is nothing but ‘Trawler Trawsh’”

And of course ’smart’ to the media means “You will think what I tell you to think without question.”

I got news for the media elite, “I’m your worst nightmare”

I’m independent, I’m intelligent, and I’m conservative. I’ve been around the world, I’ve defended our Constitution with my own blood and I’m so damn smart I’ve had university professors fired for incompetence. And I consider myself just one of ‘the guys’ when it comes to the conservative movement. I’m humbled by the wit, wisdom and heart felt patriotism of those around me.

And like those around me I can see what’s right, I can see what’s wrong and I can see exactly what the media is doing. And I don’t like it.

Finally, after 8 long miserable years the Republican Party is returning to us, the core conservatives, the people BOTH parties have abandoned in their record breaking 16 year long slavering grab for our wallets.

It stops now and it stops with us. We MUST spread the truth about Obama, the lies, the association with terrorists, felons, and jihadists. Don’t worry about hidden agenda, the ones out in the open are terrifying enough.

We MUST bring our Latino brothers and sisters into the big tent. Our neighbors to the south are dying by the hundreds, actually being raped and murdered by coyotes (not the ugly dogs, the traffickers) to join in the American dream because they want to be able to raise their families with the fruit of their labors. Hey! That’s us! Work, family, excellence - the conservative dream, and every family oriented man and woman regardless of heritage I’ve ever met shares in that dream.

We MUST congratulate and encourage the few news readers and talking heads that are presenting the facts. All journalists have an email address now and many have a blog. Let them know you appreciate the truth and thank them for their courage and integrity.

We MUST call the rest of the talking heads on it when you catch them trying to pass their own personal opinions off as fact. I won’t mention any names (Sally Quinn, Alan Combs) but they’re out there. Email them, let them know that editorials belong in section D, you want facts when you’re told it’s news, not their own personal foibles. Oh, they’ll deny what they’re doing, they’ll probably even insult you because you’re not smart enough to parrot what they told you to, but they’ll also be shocked they were caught.

This election is OURS! The Republican Party is returning to the people, and 6 months ago who would have thought it would? Who would have thought it was McCain bringing it back to us?. It’s our election to win or lose. Get the word out! Call the left on it when they lie! Confront their hollow ideas with realistic alternatives. And then vote!

Like Ted Nugent told Glenn Beck last week “Vote for McCain, then keep on his ass!”

We got work to do folks!

Oooo - this was good, I’m going to put it in my blog! :D

Warner Todd Huston’s article is the least exhaustive but a good place to go because of the three, it’s the only one that has a way to email the article to your entire address book and help spread the word. The most elegant and unbiased is Chris of Right’s summary - an extensive, substantive and truthful recap of all the media lies. And finally, Charles Martin’s recap.

I thought that our society would have gotten past the reverse segregation phase created by the 60’s the blackpower movement, when blacks needed to find themselves by dumping their non-racist white friends. Liberal solutions to social problems simply make things worse. Notice that a liberal won’t point out a problem unless they have fabricated a solution to profit from it financially or professionally.
