Latest smear: Palin called Obama a “Sambo!”
Tons of readers are sending the latest, most pathetic smear against Gov. Sarah Palin.
It is laughable beyond belief.
One “Charley James” accuses Palin of exclaiming the following after Obama defeated Hillary:
“So Sambo beat the bitch!”

I remember having a ‘Little Black Sambo’ book as a kid. He was brave and outsmarted a tiger – made him run around a palm tree so fast the the tiger turned into butter. So many stories trashed because of perceived PC ills. ‘Song of the South’ is another example. Anybody with an ounce of brains (and leaves most left-wing bloggers out of contention) would know that Sambo was once a noble name – and was used as the name of a restaurant chain (PC renaming killed that chain too).
OK – here’s the payoff – this incident continues to prove that the Dems are running full tilt scared and are pulling out all of the stops – real and imagined – to smear and besmirch McCain and Palin. We must be doing something right (pun intended). The best thing we can do is continue to bring up the truth against all smears and keep pound the truth on the Obama/Biden campaign. Keep the pressure on.

Since these mindless attacks will only get worse — God knows what it will be like when we near election day — maybe a strategy worth pursuing would be preemptive rumor: e.g. when Sarah Palin was elected mayor of Hicksburg or where it was, she immediately signed an order mandating Global Warming.
Seriously though, this kind of rubbish is one of the great dangers of the internet. Because “information” costs have been reduced to almost zero, the risks of mass info pollution approach near certainty. There is no way to stop this garbage and it would be futile to get into flyswatter mode. At a certain point the best strategy may be to ignore it while McCain takes the high road of a positive message and Obama and his minions flail about in the negative. We have to accept that “nobody believes a denial” is as true in politics as it ever was.
Anyway, all this may yet work to our advantage over the next two months (I can say that now that I have resigned myself to voting for McCain. Sigh.)

Little Black Sambo was written by an English Woman who lived in India. She had two little girls and would entertain them by writing and depicting the stories. Little Black Sambo is one of those stories – and it deals with Indian folk and the local animal population, including tigers. You can look the whole thing up on google or, better yet, a search engine that doesn’t have a liberal tinge to it.
It is obvious that the insane liberals perpetrating this latest smear don’t know what they are talking about. obama is half Arab-African and half Caucasian.

“Sambo” started out referring to a boy in India but it did evolve into racial pejorative slang directed against blacks. As an example see its use in “One Flew Over the Cockoo’s Nest” (1960?): the hero of the tale Randall Patrick McMurphy directs the abbreviated term “Sam” against the three black orderlies of the asylum, who it must be said are cruel and torment many of the inmates.

Little Black Sambo was a character in a series of childrens books written by Helen Bannerman, a Scots women living in India–he had nothing to do with Africans, African Americans or Community Organizers but the word has been used as a slur–such as honkey or vanilla often are.
I think that was Jessie Jackson, but I couldn’t swear to it.

They use some waitress, from some unknown restaurant to come up with some baseless claim that the Governor was sitting at a table on an undisclosed date speaking to unknown people loud enough to be heard by this waitress who was apparently doing nothing but standing there, listening in on their conversation, and they decide this is something that exposes Gov. Palin as a racist?
Gee, did they mention the political leanings of said witness? Are there corraborative witnesses? Is there an impartial source? Is there any evidence what-so-ever than this “HEAR-SAY” from some alleged part Aboriginal waitress who, out of an overwhelming sense of patriotism has come foreward after how many weeks/months in order to save the country from this hatefilled, racist, bigoted, lying, two-faced moose murdering, oil drilling, woman?
And if you go and read the comments on some of these sites listed on Google, you wil see just how easily these people are lead by these things. No one in their right mind would ever give credence to this sort of thing, but sure enough, it is all the evidence they need to start knotting the rope and building the gallows.

Naaaaaw, ain’t gonna happen. Talk is cheap. Anyone with enough drive to riot, would also have enough drive to support themselves without government handouts. Oh, sure some windows may get smashed, some plasma TVs may get looted, & yeah some innocent persons may get hurt… but that is life in the city.
