Latest smear: Palin called Obama a “Sambo!”

By Michelle Malkin  •  September 6, 2008 02:52 PM

Tons of readers are sending the latest, most pathetic smear against Gov. Sarah Palin.

It is laughable beyond belief.

One “Charley James” accuses Palin of exclaiming the following after Obama defeated Hillary:

“So Sambo beat the bitch!”

Read the entire “investigative report” here, which comes off like a really, really bad Onion parody.

If you think these things should just be ignored, take a look at how it’s already spreading:

***

For every nutball blogger who spreads it, there should be 50 to defuse, debunk, and beat it down.

The smear merchants aren’t going to let up between now and Election Day. Neither should we.

Case in point: Bill Maher sliming the Palin family and baby Trig.

***

Oh, and there are disgusting racists out there who smeared a black politician as a Sambo.

The truth: It’s the Left, not the Right, that’s guilty.

The racists were bigoted liberal hatemongers who mocked black GOP Maryland Senate candidate Michael Steele with the epithet.

Pass it on.

I punched in her station 1080 KUDO and their web site is under construction. But…first news item I touched on it up came the Huff Post. Geraldo gets the good ones.

I wish the whole race issue was a non issue as well. But it is not going to go away, especially when the so called “post racial” candidate continues to play the race card.

To paraphrase MLK, a man should be judged by his character rather than the color of his skin. Unfortunately, Obama’s vulnerability on that count has led him to declare character issues as off limits.

The ongoing scam with ACORN is nothing more than a play on race – ACORN, the protypical “community organizer” requires its subjects to remain or at least believe they are oppressed to generate support.

It is not going to go away when a Philadelphia columnist provides a written prediction of an all out race war of Obama loses the election.

It is not going to go away when the left starts and propagates false rumors of racial slurs attributed to the opposition.

And on a related issue, the Obama camp via David Axelrod has done and is doing their level best to assure that sexism is alive and well in this new century making it available as a weapon to use against a female VP candidate.

I for one do not buy Obama’s Pontius Pilate impersonation disclaiming responsibility for the attacks and smears and rumors. Looking back on his history, he has NEVER won a fair election. He fooled Alice Palmer by promising to step down from the position she held and to which he ascended with her support when he decided otherwise. He eliminated his entire slate of competition by waiting just before an election to disqualify them on the grounds that their nominating petitions were defective, thus depriving them of any time to correct the technicalities.

The Chigago Tribune leaked details from the sealed divorce records of his opponent in the senate primary in Illinois (Hull), who had a commanding lead before the leaks. FDavid Axelrod was Obama’s campaign guy, and Axelrod had worked for the very same newspaper before joining Obama’s team.

In the general election, Jack Ryan found himself subject to an almost identical tactic, when the Trib managed to get his sealed divorce records in California unsealed. Ryan was forced to withdraw, leaving the Republican Party no time to muster any candidate of worth.

Obama destroyed Hillary Clinton by playing both the race and gender cards. There is an article in American Thinker that goes into detail of how Obama coerced delegates into his fold by threatening (community organizing) to use his war chest to support candidates to oppose them in the next Democratic Primary. It is also fairly clear that many of the superdelegates were bought off, as evidenced by the contributions to their campaigns from the Obama camp.

That is NOT running on the issues. And that is not “winning” an election – it is engineering a win through trickery.

Hull and Ryan had children, and the disclosure of the information that led to their fall certainly did not help their children. But it helped Michelle Obama’s children, didn’t it? And we are to believe he has had nothing to do with the attacks on Palin and her family?

This man will do anything to win an election. And if keeping racial tension is seen as a way to sway voters, Obama will certainly fan those flames.

Betcha Oldodorman would like to have seen Palin’s last child cut out the same way.
All the racial lies being spread by black Americans totally renders any legitimate complaints of racism either highly suspect or makes it karma – i.e. we don’t care if the complaint is true because too many innocent whites have been harmed so tough luck. Actually it was Biden that said those words, and Bill Clinton said almost the same thing only he didn’t say Sambo or Obama!

Dead on! Work is the cure for racism. Every job I’ve had in my life featured hard work and lots of it – and no racism what so ever. Folks that work together learn respect for each other and don’t have time for this racism nonsense.

It’s the ones that do nothing or think they’re better than anyone that are racists. Example, Ted Rall who called Condolezza Rice “George Bush’s house nigga” and his “beard”…

or John Sly Sylvester on “Progressive” Talk 1670 AM who called Condoleezza Rice as “Aunt Jemimah” and Colin Powell as “Uncle Tom”…

or Keith Olberman who takes cheap shots at our dear Michelle because of her race (I adore your maiden name Michelle) and rubs Roscoe Parrish’s race in our face by referring to him with the name of a Soul Food restaurant.

(He also compaired Fox News to the KKK – bad choice Keith, historically the KKK is the enforcement wing of the Democrat party – basically Brownshirts in white satin. The enforcement wing of the Republican party is me)

Hey, these liberals are pretty good at racism. You don’t think they made this sambo thing up (like everything else) do you?

A sambo is a silly caricature of an African American from US popular culture (pre-1968). As seen in this cartoon. Funny thing is white males are now portrayed in TV commercials the exact same way today.

I used to watch those caricature cartoons all the time with my Grandpa as a child and teen, along with Speedy Gonzales cartoons. It didn’t even phase me that they were all different races than myself and were “racist”, I just thought they were funny. And, guess what, I don’t have a racist bone in my body. I was actually in numerous school yard fights defending the few people in my school that weren’t “white”.

Song of the South is one of my favorite movies to this day, it had such a great moral message in it, but the pc libs have taken away the chance for children to such a great classic. Again, it caused me to defend people of other races even more.

How many of you German/Americans were called KROUTS

Oh, I’ve been called a krout more times than I can count, being a little more than half German, with both sides of my family having German names, I’ve been called a krout and nazi by those tolerant libs anytime I argue with one.

Just so you know, genius, it is not us that need to disprove it, it is the person making the accusations that needs to prove it, especially when they are told that it is not true.

Apparently you have no clue as to how justice worls, courtrooms work or anything else.

When one is charged with a crime, it is not their job to then prove their innocence. It is the person making the accusation’s job to prove why that person is guilty.

Or, let’s do it this way. I say you are a father raping, baby stabbing, wife beating, terrorist and murderer who seldoms bathes and has yet to ever use toilet paper. Until such time as you prove to me and everyone here, you are guilty of that and must be treated as such. Do not ask me to prove it, everyone here must take exactly what I say at face value. But I will say that I spoke to someone named Beuregard, he refuses to give me his last name and for reasons I dare not say, i will not tell you the name of the restaurant at which he works, who verified this to me when he saw you, smelled you and overheard you telling of your crimes loud enough for everyone else within earshot to hear.

    Now…prove me a liar.

I know, I know, the logic of this example went clear over your head, but that is also not my fault. If you had been taller, better educated, had better parents with a better gene pool in which to get a better child then how you turned out, this would not be a problem, so you must work with what you have.

Hey…here’s some more “Lies told about GOVERNOR Sarah Palin that was in print or broadcast. I can’t guarantee there isn;t big words, as I got this from another site.

    1) Palin “Joined a Secessionist Political Party”

The Charge: Unsubstantiated Internet reports insisted Palin was once a member of the Alaska Independence Party, which critics call a secessionist political movement and supporters say is dedicated to seeking greater state control over federal lands across Alaska.

The Facts: Palin has been a registered Republican since 1982. There is no record of her ever being a member of the AIP, or any party but the GOP. Palin’s husband has been a member of the AIP in the past, but since 2002 has been a registered independent.

(See: Party Official Says Palin Was Not a Member)

    2) Palin Supported a “Nazi Sympathizer”

The Charge: “Palin was a supporter of Pat Buchanan, a right-winger or, as many Jews call him: a Nazi sympathizer,” Obama Florida spokesman Mark Bubriski was quoted as saying in a Miami Herald article.

The Facts: While mayor of Wasilla, Palin wore a Buchanan button during the sometimes presidential candidate’s 1999 visit. But Palin actually supported Steve Forbes in 2000, and served as a co-chair on his Alaska campaign.

In the weeks after the 1999 report of her wearing the Buchanan button, Palin said: “When presidential candidates visit our community, I am always happy to meet them. I’ll even put on their button when handed one as a polite gesture of respect. … The article may have left your readers with the perception that I am endorsing this candidate, as opposed to welcoming his visit to Wasilla.”

(See: Obama campaign advisor quote is from an e-mail sent to the Miami Herald )

    3) Palin “Wants Creationism Taught in School”

The Charge: Palin opposes the teaching of evolution, and would mandate the teaching of creationism in the state’s public schools.

The Facts: Palin said during her 2006 gubernatorial campaign that she would not push the state Board of Education to add creation-based alternatives to the state’s required curriculum, or look for creationism advocates when she appointed board members. She has kept this pledge, according to the Associated Press.

Palin has spoken in favor of classroom discussions of creationism, in some cases. “I don’t think there should be a prohibition against debate if it comes up in class. It doesn’t have to be part of the curriculum,” Palin told the Anchorage Daily News in a 2006 interview.

How can I possibly say whether I think they’re true or not until you tell me what the lies ARE?

YOU KILL ME!!!! LOLOLOLOL!!!! Are you trying for most sarcastic b*stard on the board? I think RetFireman is claiming that. >snerk!<

Heee hee hee, that cadaver Alan Combs is still claiming that Sarah Palin was never properly vetted when even the “deep thinkers” at the Huffington Post started to get the clue that the McCain team had started the process in May. :D

They even get her hair wrong, the Boston Herald claims it’s 20 years out of date, a stylist today told me it’s highly fashionable. (unless you’re one of those snotty cosmopolitan a$$hats that thing fashion exists only in NY and LA, out here in the real world she’s setting the trends.

Sally Quinn, Keith Olbermans more masculine counterpart, is still reporting as a fact that Sarah Palin is unfit to run a state as well as a family. Looks good so far to me, last I heard Alaska hasn’t been returned to Russian control. Sounds like a BS attack planned to make someone look bad. Ya Think? ;)

(Let me know if I am using words that are too big for you, ok?)

As for the press The Canadian National Post breathlessly reported that Sarah Palin was a member of the Alaskan Independence Party. Never was. Nope. Lie. Bad lie.

The Atlantic breathlessly reported that Sarah Palin was a member of the Alaskan Independence Party.

The New York Times breathlessly reported that Sarah Palin was a member of the Alaskan Independence Party.

Andrew Sullivan in the Atlantic reports that she’s an anti-semite. (Then why is she flying an Israeli flag in her office?)

The Atlantic is also terrified that her preacher preaches some crazy religion where God will judge EVERYONE!!! (Yeah, it’s called Christianity)

The Boston Globe shriekingly reports that Sarah Palin describes the war in Iraq as “a task from God.” which is an outright lie. What she did say was that “they should pray ‘that our national leaders are sending them out on a task that is from God, that’s what we have to make sure we are praying for, that there is a plan, and that plan is God’s plan.’”

(Ever hear the phrase “Not my will, but Thine, be done”? It’s a faith thing, you may not understand.)

This is just scratching the surface. Just a slight glimpse at the horrors that she’s got to put up with. I’m not even going to delve into the slime that’s been reported about her children, her supposed affairs, and her personal habits.

And if she’s so racist against Eskimos as the press now wants us to believe, why did she marry one?

Give us a shout out again some time, it’s always invigorating to rub someones nose in it and to prove Sean Hannity right when he said that 2008 is the year that the media committed suicide.

I started out a young mush head, brainwashed by community college professors who were self professed communists, and then I went out into the real world and went around the world.

    Three times.

And in the real world I saw what collectivism and liberalism has caused. The enslavement of the human spirit. The crushing of hope, the elimination of freedom. The death of spiriual enlightenment.

I’ve been bombed by Hamas, I’ve been threatened with a nuke by North Korea, and I played a big part in converting most of the Iraqi Republican Guard into something that resembles chunky style raspberry jelly. And that’s a start

I’m going to hell for the things I’ve done for my country, and I’ve proudly earned the trip. But I’ve done something that lazy Leftists who won’t even open a search engine haven’t done.

I’ve lived. And I’ve used my mind.

I’ve researched, I’ve weighed options, I’ve looked at personal histories. Until a few days ago I wasn’t even going to vote because historically senators have been the absolute worst presidents but then I saw the press doing what 40 years ago was unthinkable to Sarah Palin and my mind was made up.

    Now walk away.

But I am conservative. Your use of “Red State World View” gives you away to who and what you are. And your absolute refusal to do your own work, to look up your own questions, tells me you’re either lazy or terrified to see what you’ll find. Either way that means liberal to me.

Is “Red State World View” some kind of code phrase that scares you? I meant it as a shorthand for the attitude in full display from some of the other… “less capable”… posters here and if I was wrong that you share it, I was wrong, and I apologize. I didn’t intend it to be offensive (although I think it’s interesting that you find it so…)

But the real point is, I’m not refusing to do MY work, I’m refusing to do YOURS. YOU claim that “lies” have been propagated by the media, presumably via print and/or broadcast; I countered that I believe your claim is, basically, not true. Since you claim that these lies about Sarah Palin have been printed and broadcast, why is it not then incumbent on you to prove your hypothesis?

That’s ALL I’m asking. WHERE are the lies? You’ve done nothing to prove your hypothesis – “there are lies” – is right and that my hypothesis – “there are no lies” – is wrong, yet you feel free to call ME lazy and afraid of the truth?

Nice…waits until after i said good-night to further prove what a ass he is. Of course, he lies and states I left no link to prove what I have said etc., which is a blatant mistatement of facts and a bald faced lie when in my second post listing the lies stated about GOVERNOR Palin I clearly linked to a reputable site that disputes and disproves the lies which the Liberals and Left have been spreading about her.

I congratulate him for doing exactly what I have stated he would do, making sure to maintain the Liberal talking points and staying on schedule.

However, I am done playing with the moron, and thus, having done my duty in allowing him to demonstrate to all who will catch up on the overnights tomorrow morning just what a disingenuous, lying, stupid (see definition two earlier posts of mine up) little Liberal poo-butt he truly is, as well as demonstrating that he has no compensity for even the simplest tasks, nor any understanding as to who has the burden of proof when it comes to dispelling lies…he is now completely, 100% irrelevant.

    Have fun guys…

In the words of the father in “The Jazz Singer”, “He is dead to me”.

I will, however, enjoy reading all those that will leave him in even more of a destroyed form than we have done tonight. It stands to be a truly humorous read.

One of the early claims people made was that she was a secesionist. But are Obama and Biden any different? Here’s a take on that from Rush found here. (My boldface)

This secession business is one of the lamest straws, the lamest little twigs that the left have out there to try to go after Sarah Palin on the basis that her husband Todd supported secession for Alaska. Now, two things. Look at me on this. Follow me. Two things. Now, I don’t support secession, obviously, but I can damn-well understand why people in Alaska feel put out. Here you have a bunch of elite, city slicker liberals in New York and California and elsewhere. They don’t like liberals in these rural areas. They don’t like liberal politicians telling them when, how, and where they can explore for and drill for their own natural resources. They don’t like having to hear Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi tell them when and where they can’t do things.

They don’t like hearing it from Obama. They don’t like being told that they can’t use their habitats and all of that. Now, I don’t support secession for Alaska, but I understand why people get ticked off up there. But can we go back to the recent past? There was a piece by John Fund on June 12th of 2006 in the Wall Street Journal. Senator Akaka [from Hawaii "undermined his own bill last year when he made statements to National Public Radio that the sovereignty granted Native Hawaiians in the [Native Hawaiian Government Reorganization Act] bill could eventually lead to secession. ‘That could be,’ he said. ‘As far as what’s going to happen at the other end, I’m leaving it up to my grandchildren and great-grandchildren.’” Obama and Biden both voted for Akaka’s bill that opened the way for Hawaii to leave the union! And when this bill came up, we were all talking about how this is going to potentially lead to secession,” and Obama and Biden both voted for it! Now, this is a clear example of a double standard.

Alaska hasn’t done anything like this. They certainly haven’t had a member of their congressional delegation propose it. But Daniel A-ka-ka (I love pronouncing that name) Daniel A-ka-ka from Hawaii not only proposed it but it was debated and almost passed voted for by Obama and Biden. So what is this? The double standard just reigns extreme. But, see, we don’t live in a monopoly anymore — and the left cannot seem to get it through its head that we have researchers and that we have an archive of the stupid, contradictory, hypocritical things that they have and said how they’ve voted. The rope-a-dope again: “Okay, you want to go after Todd Palin for flirting with Alaskan secession? Fine! Obama and Biden voted for a bill that could lead to that very thing in Hawaii, by the sponsor’s own admission, Daniel Akaka.”

You know the expression…throw enough of it against the wall, and some will stick. That’s the dems strategy; the only thing they have, right now. If they tell enough lies, they hope some of it will be believed. Of course, they have a base of voters that will believe anything they put out. Good old fashioned mudslinging when you can’t discuss the issues, supported by the left-wing media.

What exactly has the press reported about Sarah Palin that’s turned out to be “not true”? Apparently, you have a list of lies – lies of all kinds, according to what you wrote – so I’d be interested to hear what precisely the press has reported that’s demonstrably untrue.

That line of questioning reveals the abject stupidity of the questioner. It is here to agitate and stir up mischief.
