Check out this [emphasis added] excerpt from an LA Weekly report on Michelle Obama’s appearance at a private fundraiser last Wednesday in the ritzy LA neighborhood of Holmby Hills. Mrs. Obama was addressing a crowd that reporter Patrick Range McDonald described “heavily entertainment-industry.”
Obama then moved on to politics, where she first brought up her husband’s vice-presidential choice. “I think it was a really good pick—Senator Joe Biden,” she said, and later added, “People say they have amazing chemistry, and it’s true.”Obama continued with talk about Biden when she said, “What you learn about Barack from his choice is that he’s not afraid of smart people.” The crowd softly chuckled.
I’m laughing for an entirely different reason. Keep showing us your elitist roots, Mrs. O.

I’ll never get to participate in these fundraisers because I don’t have a spare 50 grand laying around.
Not everyone had the opportunity to go to an Ivy League school, Mrs. Obama. Some of us had to work – and damn hard – to pay for state school. Or to earn scholarships to local colleges.
What makes the fundraiser “politics as usual?” How else would candidates generate $$ to fund campaigns. Without these type of endorsements, only rich people would be able to afford to run for office. The problem is what happens AFTER the campaign…are favors promised in return for the financial backing? Merely being endorsed or hosted by a person with money is not itself “politics as usual.” Non sequitur.

Is a community organizer a person that keeps and perpetuates the illusion that Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton have credibility in the real world? Does a community organizer believes that we need a permanent underclass? Do we need to believe that a community organizer has a desire to help the needy, or perhaps a man that wants more in life and to promote his own lifestyle?
Jessie and Al have perfected the shakedown. Has our “community organizer” come up with the perfect solution and create victims, millions of victims that need a hand out?

A community organizer is another term for Communist Agitator. Their daily tasks consist mainly of telling people which forms to fill out to receive more welfare payments, and passing out literature on what a terrible country America is.
That’s what a community organizer is.
BO & Gorebot are in for a nasty lesson in humility. Take a look at last year’s and now the current sunspot activity – decreased last year and now NONE. NONE for over a month and going. What does it mean? The opposite of global warming. Just in the last year the earth’s temperature dropped 0.7 degree C, and now solar activity has dropped further. Look for alarming news reports in the coming weeks if absence of sunspots continues. I know this has little to do with BO’s wife, but so many elitists have been selling us the story that they could predict the weather in 50 to 100 years, and they can’t even get a single year right and now this.
The thought of Obama and Biden “having chemistry” is so thoroughly repellent that I think I’ll need an Olympic-sized swimming pool’s worth of brain bleach to clear my mind.

My view is different than most re: Obama – in my view he’s a looser to the core. Yes, probably scheduled basketball games for the local under priviledged. His little quips about the price of hams, etc. – all for show. I don’t think he would know high style if it slapped him in the face. You know what is really funny about that? I noticed it during the DNC. Watch both Biden’s and MichelleO’s faces when he does it. The look of shock and revulsion on Biden’s the first night about had me in tears.
