Who was behind the Sambo smear?

By Michelle Malkin  •  September 8, 2008 12:30 PM

Over the weekend, I noted the scurrilous claim of a left-wing blogger who “reported” the hearsay rumor that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin called Obama a “Sambo” and Hillary Clinton a “bitch.”

Even the nutballs at the Daily Kos deleted a posting about the smear.

But it’s still out there.

Who was behind the attack? Macranger takes a look at the Democrat political operatives who helped spread the smear.

The nutroots are still beside themselves and trying to find anything that will stick to Palin. Pretty soon they will begin to call her the “teflon lady”, because nothing sticks. They never consider the fact that their outrageous lies roll down Palin’s back like water off a duck. I did find a neat post over at Ben Smith’s Blog from “Pricklee Pete”. Cool name. Nice observation.

Here come the excuses again. Deja vu 2000 and 2004. The Libs know they’re in trouble againhitched their wagon to yet ANOTHER donkey destined for the glue factory. The dems haven’t tricked more than 50% of the electorate to vote for their presidential nominee since Jimmy ran against Ford. History repeating itself. Boo hoo.

Let’s discuss some “Derrogatory” names that are on television, in the papers, on the radio at any time every day of every week of every month of every year…SHALL WE?

    Cracka?

    Whitey?

    Redneck?

    White-boy?

Why it is even prevalent in children’s movies. In the movie “Madagascar”, the zebra character, played by Chris Rock, loves the island sooooo much, that he claimed that it was “Cracka-lackin”.

Gee…so the reason that the island was such a paradise was because it was devoid of white people? And this is ok terminology to have in an animated children’s film?

I have heard this term used MANY times on television in various shows and NEVER spoken by anyone who was not black.

SO tell me, trolls and other race-baiters…why is there no outcry against the BLATANT racism and “Derrogatory” terms that are used on a daily basis?

Would it be ok if, in the next childrens movie, a character comes out and proclaims a location to be wonderful simply because it is “N*****-lackin”?

    Hypocrites. Stinking hypocrites.

Agreed, but character assaisnation is done by both sides..Did you already forget Karl Rove’s dirty tactics against John McCain in South Carolina in 2000?

What I am asking here is a real question. Its been more than 10 days since Sarah Palin was introduced to national stage and why can’t she still take questions from media? I was hoping for a practical and fiscal conservative presidency in John McCain and I am getting nervous that Sarah Palin will sink that ship.

I guess we don’t really need actual weapons any more. All we need to do is hurl a bunch of racial epithets at our enemies and that’ll show em. They’ll be victims immediately and faint/surrender from being offended so greatly.

Really, if we get invaded in 50 years, all the enemy will need to do will call us all ‘n word’s’ and we’ll all cower and lose out of offense. Get out ‘demolition man’ with Wesley Snipes and Sly Stalone and see that author’s concept of what society will look like when stupid things are outlawed.

Please, somebody call me a derogatory name. Trust me, I won’t care. And I don’t expect anyone else to care if I call them a derogatory name. I’m not that important and my words are even less important.

A few months back the MSM were complaining that Barack wasn’t giving the media access.

Don’t you remember how he said “C’mon, I’ve answered about eight questions already.”??

So here’s Palin, new to the MSM meatgrinder, and the libtards are complaining that after less than a week she’s not offering herself up for slaughter?

    My answer: Eff You, libtards!

Hmmmm. I seem to remember when Hillary first ran for Senator, she would grant virtually no interviews. And Michelle Obama has to go on the View with a list of verboten topics.

And the liberals have the gall to complain about Palin? I can hardly wait for her first interview.

BTW, Obambi is going on Letterman on Wednesday. Nice, safe Letterman. Perhaps he should try to compete with McCain’s war record and go on Rush’s show.

This year is 2008, so you are referring to a putative event now eight years old. Many will mention it; no one offers evidence the event is a fact. It now serves as an indication that a commentator is rather less than serious in his/her participation in the debate.

It’s an insult to that beloved charater, Little Black Sambo, to associate his name with B-Lack Osama or Freak-a-zoid Michelle Osama.

In fact, one day Michelle Obama was walking in the Southside of Chicago jungle, and a tiger said, “I’m going to eat you up.” “Oprah Please Mr. Tiger,” said Smelly, “don’t eat me up, and I’ll give you my glowing silk radzimir kimono dress from Thakoon with the crimson lining.” “OK,” said the tiger, “I won’t eat you up this time.” And he walked away saying, “Now I’m the grandest tiger in the Southside of Chicago jungle.”

And that’s how the leopard got his spots.

Actually, the Obama campaign needs to be very publically pounded by McCain or the RNC until the Prices are forced out. Make them pay and make the public aware of that the source was Obama!

So just because it was in 2000, its all ok and we should all forget it now is it? So Bill Clinton’s shameful act while he as the president is also ok now since it was 10 yrs ago…Nice policy there!

Well gee…as far as I klnow, Liberals have never seen it as a problem. After all, it was just something that was personal, did not count, had nothing to do with being President, was between him and his family…

So why don’t you and the rest allow it to be the issue it was, and we can go from there.

Oh, that’s right…only Conservatives and Republicans have issues. I keep forgetting.

Did you even read my post? I called it a shameful act…which is what is. Or are you an illegal alien and can’t understand English?

Karl Rove’ tactics were also shameful but definitely not as big as Clinton’s. Why do you just make up other’s positions when you cannot think sound and accept mistakes for what they are?
