Democrats drill…for dirt

By Michelle Malkin  •  September 9, 2008 04:29 PM

They refuse to drill for oil, but the Democrats have sent legions of diggers to Alaska.

To search for dirt on Sarah Palin.

Democrat priorities at work.

Please elucidate. What law did she break by firing a government employee in whom she had no confidence? (Kind of like the new President firing all of the US Attorneys)

That’s what we’ll find out. If she ever testifies. I didn’t start the investigation and neither did Obama. If there was no law for her to break, there wouldn’t be an investigation.

You two coming out in favor of men who beat their wives and men who want their wives to have public sex with them at a sex club? Am I to understand that these are the “small town values” of the Republican Party?

And these absolute “facts” come from divorce records that were supposedly sealed, until The One got them unsealed? Divorce court is also a notorious source of indisputable fact

    .

They were never disputed by either man. In fact, I saw Jack Ryan on Joe Scarborough just after the scandal broke and his only defense was that, while he had brought his wife to a sex club and asked her to do the deed in front of a crowd, she said “no.” So he was in a sex scandal but never got to have sex! Tough life, I guess.

Point two; You are either very young, or have had a major lapse in memory! The Democrat’s have NEVER needed proof of wrong-doing to have an investigation…all they have ever needed was an accusation. Of course, this ONLY applies to their political opponents.

Bottom line — most of the people who live in Alaska don’t think much of city slickers from the Lower 48 in general and lawyers and investigators in particular, especially when their sole purpose is to swoop in and try to dig up dirt on one of their own.

The people going up there will stick out like a sore thumb and will, for the most part, be ignored. They will try to buy off people with cash to dish the dirt. Most Alaskans won’t go for it. The few who might be tempted will not be looked upon kindly by their fellow citizens.

At the end of the day, the lawyers and investigators will end up finding someone like “Lucille” of Sambo fame (read non-existant) and make up some more BS. It will have the same effect as all the BS they’ve come up with so far. IOW, it will further document the moonbattiness of the Democrat Party and liberals in general.

“Technicality” is close enough. Unable to make a case to the majority of America — once this Palin Pet Rock thing blows over — that Obama is not far and away the best man for the job, Republicans are praying that he was somehow not born in the U.S.m, despite any evidence to support their fantasies.

Palin and her supporters love using the family as a smokescreen to hide the fact that she’s a serial liar and utterly unqualified to stare down Putin.

I’m sorry, I’m from Earth. Could you translate that first sentence into a language that’s used by the Federation?

You pry, we pry? Obama supposedly told his people to leave the Palin family alone, obviously he was lying about that too.

Leftists are attacking Palin on moral grounds because that’s what Leftists are best at, immorality. They know all the tricks and it makes them feel good when they find someone who’s life is more hollow than their own.

Besides… “It’s Just Sex!!!” right? What are you looking for, a long forgotten nationally broadcast address where she angrily announces (with wagging finger mind you) “I DID NOT HAVE SEX WITH THAT ESKIMO, TODD PALIN!”

And who gives a damn about Obama’s birth certificate anyhow? Even though there’s unanswered questions about it’s authenticity and Hillary’s people have witnesses that he was born in Africa. What I’m interested in is that after Obama’s momma renounced his US Citizenship for him in Indonesia, he never reaffirmed his US citizenship in word or document.

And this is all Hillarys doing… SWEET! I suppose, BemusedLib, we can say “you pry, you pry, WE laugh all the way to the White House.”

Go on BemusedLib, keep slamming Palin. Continue to avoid the actual issues. Badmouth her religion, drag her under age children through the mud, claim she insulted your pit bull and it’s no longer housebroken. Every time you people open your mouth to release the sewage pouring from your long dead hearts McCain goes up another point in the polls.

You and your extremist leftist brethren are actually our best ally in this race. Had you stuck to the issues it would probably be all over in Obama’s favor.

I’m sorry. When someone accused of a crime gets freed because his constitutional rights were violated, conservatives rage on how he was sprung on a “technicality.” I’m just learning from you. Not that the lot of yez has read anything but the Second Amendment, otherwise you wouldn’t be so happy about the Bush Administration’s massive violations of Americans’ constitutional rights. You have no actual principles, just excuses.

The Constitution is never a technicality.

I am unpersuaded by the handwritten “Indonesian” on his school registration that young Barry was ever an Indonesian citizen — something as bureaucratic as that leaves tracks — forms, passports, etc, and there’s no reason to suspect that his step-dad did anything other than fill in the blanks the way that would make the bureaucrats happy.

Likewise, there seems to be no trauma with either he or his mother getting in and out of the country at will.

On the more important question of dual loyalties, I have am utterly confident that he has none.

You know, I am not surprised that the Dems (or the Republicans for that matter) dig for everything they can find in the closets of their opponents, but the sheer speed, depth, and volume of the vitriol, not to mention the high number of fabricated stories about Palin are really unprecedented.

Even more amazing is the blatant disregard for objectivity by the flying monkeys of the DNC, the liberal media, is showing by their efforts to find dirt on Palin.

I seriously believe that women, working mothers in particular, are going to see this and flock wholesale to Palin’s defense and election. In other words, the lack of subtlety is going to backfire.

This is just a tacit admission of their fear of her and her abilities.

The old phrase, “methinks they doth protest too much” seems to apply here.

Lastly, do you really want to pi$$ off Palin? I have a feeling that would be a really bad idea.

I know Charlie Gibson will ask Sarah Palin questions he never would ask Joe Biden or Obama.

Well of course not. That is because The Golden Calf and Pluggie would never allow any interviews, especially one that is taken over two days, without first seeing all the questions to be asked, being given time to prepare the answers, having an extensive list of rules including what the backdrop should be, the type of lighting etc., and giving the interviewer a detailed list telling them exactly what areas are completely off limits to talk about.

While GOVERNOR Palin si inviting him to follow her for two days and spend a great deal of time with her, she is also saying that he can ask her anything and everything that he wants.

This is a clever strategy that has “Liberal Smear” written all over it. I can already see all the ways that anything she says or does will be twisted, taken out of context etc., but she will have the fact that there were no conditions placed on said interview to lord over the Bobsie Twins heads for all eternity.

Hey, I wonder if MichelleO would do similar, and then we could show them side by side to demonstrate how glowing it will be for her, and how slim it will be for GOVERNOR Palin. At least we could see what they do for shower curtains while Saint MichelleO is wearing those God-awful dresses.

Obama is a walking, breathing forked-tongued politician. He may not have dual citizenship (sorry.. I won’t take your word that he doesn’t as you are not in a position to assure that) but his loyalties are not to America as a whole. They are to the UFT.. the AFL-CIO, the Teamsters, his Chicago cronies… and most of all, his loyalty to make this country into a socialist republic where the gov’t decides the role of a given citizen and that citizens aspirations will be irrelevant.

Sounds Orwellian.. yes. But that’s the picture Obama paints himself.
