You botched the joke, Barry O

Lipstick on a pit bull, genius.
Not “pig.”
The reaction of the audience speaks for itself. Watch the clip here.
Now, can you imagine if McCain had joked like this about Michelle O?

There’s lots of debate here in the comments thread and across the blogosphere about whether the McCain camp is overreacting, whether Obama should get the benefit of the doubt for using a common old metaphor at the wrong place and time, etc., etc.
Was he being malicious? Probably not. But it’s yet another in a long line of rhetorical gaffes that demonstrate his ineptitude.
Or, as one commenter below summed it up succinctly: “The guy’s a jerk.”
***
I should also note Obama’s diss of McCain. Welcome to civility, hope, change, and new politics:
“That’s not change,” Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., said of what Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., is offering.
“You know, you can put lipstick on a pig,” Obama said, “but it’s still a pig.”
The crowd rose and applauded, some of them no doubt thinking he may have been alluding to Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s ad lib during her vice presidential nomination acceptance speech last week, “What’s the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? Lipstick.”
“You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called ‘change,’” Obama continued, “it’s still gonna stink after eight years.

Reader Linda: “Someone commenting on my blog re. the Obama ‘lipstick on a pig’ gaffe suggested that disgruntled women should send Obama their lipstick. Not a bad idea!”

Have not seen that. Please elaborate TC if you wouldn’t mind. It’s always fun to see Letterman make an ass of himself.
and GuitarPlayer… I stand corrected.. w/o a Tele-prompter he is in fact lost. What was I thinking? lol
The problem there is you are relying on a snippet before he started going off on the “pig wearing lipstick” line of thought, LMC. (Coffee just posted that bit to show how Obama ripped off a cartoon for his speech)
You aren’t aware of what he talked about “after the snip”, the news agencies report he expounded on the pig theme by talking about Palin.
From the AP:
“In his speech Tuesday, Obama followed up the comments by saying that Palin’s is an interesting story, drawing boos at the mention of her name and trying to cut them off.
“Look, she’s new, she hasn’t been on the scene, she’s got five kids”
With “botched jokes” like this one he’s doing that just fine by himself.
The gang at the Kos Kidz Asylum have the very same complaint in reaction to Obama’s botched joke, that’s one reason I don’t share your concern. Also, whenever he does something stupid and everyone takes note, Obama gets angry and calls it a “distractions”.
I’d just sit back and enjoy watching the public, especially females, react to this. McCain’s denounced it, it’s caught the attention of the public and Obama’s on the defense again – the rest is just gravy.
I didn’t have the time to read all the posts, so this may have already been said…
Whether B. Hussein Obama’s “lipstick on a pig” comment was an accident or on purpose, either way, it demonstrates a real lack of intelligence on his part. If he were smart he would have known that the comment would have been interpreted as a slam to Palin, and just wouldn’t have said it.
I belive he did it on purpose. It’s a typical liberal tactic: Throw mud and and then adjust your halo.
Crud, I wish I’d proofread a little better. I do know how to spell “believe.”
Remember when he gave Hillary the “finger”. His lipstick joke is very similar.

Meet the Real Sarah Palin response to Mister Barack Obama’s explanation.
http://sarah-palin-2008.blogspot.com/2008/09/obamas-apology-too-little-too-late-too.html
So Obama makes a statement about a pig with lipstick (along with a debatable connection to Sarah Palin) and then immediately talks about an OLD FISH (which creates another debatable connection to John McCain).
Either Obama used two very unfortunate but coincidental phrases, or he was intentionally hinting at the connections?
If it were one phrase or the other I’d be inclined to let it go. But both together is tough to ignore. Also, it was an obviously prepared remark given that he lifted his earlier thoughts from a cartoon.

He knew exactly what he was trying to say.
Oh swell, just more garbage for the high school hallway rather than a political philosophy forum. Who else is ready for the election to come and go? I’m growing increasingly tired of American politics, or should I say, American Fallacy Theater.
If McCain’s war room is really on their game, they’ll have ads ready roll during Letterman’s show attacking Letterman for playing along for B.O.
It is quite justified to assume that Obama’s comment had Sarah Palin in mind, since as early as Sept 3rd this same joke/analogy was discussed in DU (Democratic Underground) and it referenced to the Palin pitbull/lipstick statement.

While I agree he chose the worst overused metaphor available, especially given Gov. Palin’s joke at the convention, I don’t believe it was aimed at her. I think it was clearly aimed at McCain’s policies.
It is a minor gaffe compared to the frightening consequences of BO’s own positions becoming a reality if he is elected. I’ve heard a handful of outright lies in his recent speeches that make this lipstick thing inconsequential. Like stating to a roomful of AARP members that McCain wants to privatize Social Security. (While that would be a good thing, McCain has made it clear that he has no such intentions.)
Aside from the stupidity of the remark, the real issue is, as Andrea Tantaros points out in Misscheryl’s #288 post, that the Obama campaign continues to run against Bush.
No one is buying that anymore. McCain has leapt beyond that tired angle.
As McCain continues to distance himself from Bush and to show how he is more statesmanlike, more mature, and more thoughtful than his opponent, this election will be his to lose.
Especially if BO and the DNC keep treating this as a referendum on Bush. If you have any hope to change the outcome of this election, Democrats, it’s time to move on to a strategy that we can believe in. Somehow, I don’t think you’re capable of doing that.
You’re best argument for winning the White House is that Bush isn’t a member of your party? Really? You’re doomed.
Indeed, A88, just as how the Dems refer to President Bush as a chimp, the Palin-lipstick thing has been a running joke for them. As I commented earlier Obama’s “botched joke” wasn’t the only outbreak, e.g. :
“Earlier in the day, Missouri Rep. Russ Carnahan, appearing at a speech by Democratic vice presidential nominee Joe Biden, said that Palin is “someone with zero experience in national government, zero experience in foreign affairs. There’s no way you can dress up that record, even with a lot of lipstick.”
It’s as if the Obama campaign sent out a memo to make it the “theme of the day”.
Don’t send a tube of lipstick because that can be felt for and thrown out without opening. Send a simple letter with just a lipstick kiss. They’ll have to open those, especially if you put Campaign Donations. Send it to his campaign headquarters:

BO keeps letting his Muslim heritage show when he refers to a Christian woman as a, “Pig,” and the other day when he spoke of. “my Muslim faith.”
It is clear that BO is inciting violence against Ms. Palin, her daughter, and by extension against women in general. This is today’s Sharia culture – a Christian and a woman has challenged a Muslim Man and he wants her killed. His campaign even refers to her daughter as, “Fair game.” BO has lost all credibility as a uniter and clearly is establishing doubts as to whether he is an extremist Muslim.
I greatly fear for Ms. Palin’s safety and that of her family. The left is full of violent and mentally ill followers. Should any harm befall her or her family, or Senator McCain, does anyone doubt the left will find itself in a shooting war?
Chicago Politician: “Lipstick on a Pig”
McCain: “That’s disgusting”
Chicago Politician: “I’m being attacked…WAAHHH !!!
I guess the read comment differently. I took the “lipstick” to represent Palin and the “pig” to represent McCain. Then, when that line worked with the crowd, Obama re-affirmed his sexism by immediately following up that McCain is the “old fish” and Palin is the “stink.”
People can argue about the “lipstick on a pig” being an old saying but how many times have we heard the fish-paper-stink saying before? That one is new and, I think, proves my point.
That is a great suggestion, JT. It is nuanced and fraught with layers of meaning. It should keep Democrat strategists (assuming they have any) wondering how to respond.
I’m going to send a stack of postcards.
Just to make certain his campaign wouldn’t portray them as love letters, a line next the lipstick kiss should read “We’re kissing off The One” or the like.
Make sure the letter is non see through.
Yes, “Lipstick on a Pig” is a common phrase and, yes, Obama made the remark in the midst of criticizing McCain’s new “change” mantle.
Still, the Obamaniacs are deluding themselves if they don’t realize this was a not-so-subtle shot at Palin. So far, Palin’s “lipstick” adlib has been the most memorable and oft-cited line of her short campaign. Obama knew darned-well what he was doing, and so did his audience.
The McCain camp’s “outrage” (phony as an Obama dollar bill) has been about right, but they seriously risk overplaying their hand if they make much more of an issue here.

I’ve mentioned the “rotting fish” line was used by Dukakis against GHWBush in the 88 election. Like Biden, Obama does believes in recycling – especially speeches.
This is insane. He was talking about McCain’s Change campaign. Nothing more. When did the Republican party turn into libs? (I guess Bush was a start for us). It is no more offensive than if McCain’s camp and said that having Bill Clinton speak at the convention prior to Obama was like having the Beatles open for the Monkeys.
Get over it.
Well, I’d better weigh in on this…briefly.
First, Tony Blankley had it right on FoxNews last night. It’s not the use of the idiom that is problematic. The problem is the use of this particular idiom in the context of Palin’s joke just days ago.
Second, BHO could very easily have changed the idiom but still made the same point (i.e. “you can put makeup/an evening gown/etc. on a pig…”). The fact that he chose “lipstick” means he is either (a) very stupid, (b) very insensitive, or (c) maliciously calculating. None of those characteristics gives me a warm feeling.
Lastly, there is another context problem. BHO’s camp has blown it again by pulling out McCain’s use of the idiom in reference to Hillary’s health care debacle. Apparently, Dick Cheney said it into a mic once. “Other Republicans use that joke too! Nothing to see here.” Again, it is not the use of the idiom that troubles people; it is the context. No one could conclude that McCain implied Hillary was a pig when describing her plan. And Hillary did not refer to herself using “lipstick”. BHO’s attacks are always way out of context (not unusual for a typical politician) but so blatantly so that they backfire. This is just the latest (and likely not the last) example.
Not to worry Rob – they are an undisciplined group – they won’t be able to stop their tongues from wagging..it’s what they do.
It’s manufactured outrage. We are better than that. Well I take that back, we are talking about John McCain. God forgid McCain uses the same lipstick on a pig comment about Obama. Now that would be offensive as we all know Obama is a Muslim.
He was talking about McCain’s change campaign, nothing more.
Magnumopus, context is everything. I agree. He was talking about McCain and the comparison to Bush. Sure, I see the reach that can be made linking it to Palin’s lipstick joke and agree he should have said, “If it walks like a duck” but then we’d be discussing Obama calling Palin a duck.
You make very valid points but this is ridiculous. Let’s take him down on his policy. We cannot lower ourselves to teh Libs level.
“Fifty-Seven states” (with a few more to go…), “Soux City,” “Sunshine,” “Sweetie,” “inflate your tires,” “breathalyzer,” “above my paygrade,” ” “Uh,” “Uh,” “Uh,” and “Uh.”
When you see someone with a very high propensity to say very stupid things, you can say that it’s merely gaffes, or you can suggest that he’s just stupid.
Either way, this boob is the worse presidential candidate that ever took the stage. The DNC is insane.
Have to agree with John Ansell. As much as I don’t want BHO in the White House except as a tourist, I really don’t think he meant it as a personal slam on Sarah Palin even though it was obvious his boneheaded audience took it that way. It’s a common expression. I’ve heard it many times. What do you think would happen if John McCain or Palin were to blurt out at a rally, “That’s like the pot calling the kettle black?” You KNOW they would accused of racism regardless of the context. Mountains out of molehills and all it will do is make the MSM/netroots look that much harder for any misstatement they will take to town to destroy McCain/Palin.
What the comment shows to me more than anything else is how Obama is not a great off-the-cuff speaker. He’s getting worn out and frustrated, and not thinking well on his feet. Not good if you’re trying to show you can handle the stress of running the country.
Here is a video of McCain using the “lipstick on a pig” line while referring to Hillary’s health care plan…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR8IhMMhe8w
Also supporting BO as following Sharia culture – he pays the women on his staff on average $6000 per year less than men and few women have positions of authority, unlike McCain where the opposite is true.
BO is not an apostate after all. I wonder if he plans his campaign so that the platforms/stages he speaks from always face Mecca? He dressed as a Muslim publicly as late as 2006 during his trip to Kenya. He speaks arabic fluently.
He says he thought about joining the military but Al Qaeda turned him down because their experience with community organizers was that they were crooked and cowards. LOL!
John Ansell, I don’t think you and I disagree. When hearing BHO’s comments as a whole, it is clear to me that he is talking about the McCain-Palin ticket not bringing “real change” (whatever that is). But Palin’s speech mere days earlier is also part of this context. As is the overt sexism displayed by Biden and countless “journalists” and other talking heads in the MSM in the wake of Palin’s appointment.
That being said, I agree that there is plainly enough to beat BHO on the issues, and I wish that were the focus. But this is politics. And as long as BHO’s spokespeople and his surrogates in the MSM continue their outright sexism and blatant hypocrisy, it is fair and appropriate to call them on it, even if BHO can explain his own comments away with some success.
McCain’s camp, the GOP (and we) should be careful, though. Too much of this could backfire on him instead.
It could be that the concocted outrage expressed by Camp McCain is itself a ploy to beguile Camp Obama.
Camp McCain certainly knows the “pig/lipstick” idiom is an age-old axoim, and they must also know that feigning indignance over OBummer’s use of it could backfire on them.
But, maybe claiming victimhood is not Camp McCain’s real objective.
Instead, their real goal is to further rattle Camp Obama by inducing them to believe nearly anything Obama says will be subject to immediate, relentless, response.
This in turn could garner even more protracted “Uhms, ahs, you-know’s” from Obama — due to now-self-imposed paranoia over his every remark — thus diminishing OBummer’s stature even more.
Just got back from the McCain / Palin rally in Fairfax, Va. this morning. It was supposed to be held at Fairfax High School football field but response was so great that they moved it to Van Dyke Park down the street. If I had to guess I would say 40,000+ people showed up.
Fred Thompson even came to speak!!!
Hockey Moms, Soccer Moms, Working Moms, even saw a guy with a sign that said “Trig is my brother, his story is my story.”
Obambi is TOAST in VA. R.I.P.
MagnumOpus, Yes we are in agreement. I just take dirty politics to heart because I’ve seen family members go through it many times. Some of it is fair game but when it’s the reaching and reading into what one says it crosses the line. My uncle Jimmy was called “Commissioner NO” because as finance commissioner he would rarely allow the city to spend money. Only if it really called for it. So he was in a debate and the re-election campaign was extremely tight and his challenger just kept hammering him with the “commissioner no” unti my uncle said, “there are two ways to spell “no” N.O. and K.N.O.W. I’m the last”
He won on that line. McCain better watch it, like you said. If he can’t understand this, I don’t think we need him in office.
“I don’t care what they say about me. But I love this country too much to let them take over another election with lies and phony outrage and Swift-boat politics. Enough is enough,” he said.
One question for you Obama. If you don’t care what they say about you, why are you responding? Its not love of country. Its love of self and you know it.
John Ansell, it sounds like your Uncle Jimmy is my kind of guy!
MagnumOpus, after that he went on to be a voting delegate for Ronald Reagan in Detroit and casted all of Illinois’ votes for Reagan/Bush. He was a true conservative.
Casted? Doh.

Here again, Obama is mocking an opponent, but then he steps in it by affirming the opponent’s charge against him. The man is simply a very, very stupid person.
No surprise here…
Communists and Socialists prefer Obama. Via Drudge:
Russians like Putin and Obama, polls find…
80% in France…
I think that news will backfire on Obama’s campaign.
Why should what the Russians or Frendh think have any relevance in our elections? The majority of Americans don’t favor the Russian or French type of government…
Playing the phony outrage and victim card is going to backfire terribly. Americans don’t like it with race related “gotcha”, and doing it here on gender is pathetically transparent.
Keep crying McCain campain, and see what happens.
Committed:
If we are a fortunate nation, then this vain idiot will see himself in a stream somewhere, stare at himself incessantly, and turn into a flower before he does any real damage to the country that I love.
I believe he knew EXACTLY what he was doing and what he was saying. Maybe he had not planned it, maybe it was not an official part of what he was saying, maybe it was a joke they were telling on the bus and, trying to work the crowd, he thought it would benefit him and his handlers told him they could always say we were taking it wrong and he would get a pass…
But considering all the lipstick things that have been going around since GOVERNOR Palin gave her speech: The t-shirts, the slogans and such, AND add to that the fact that he made it a point to CLEARLY state an OLD fish, not just a fish, it is perfectly clear what and who he was referring to. And again, add to that the pause he took, the way the crowd reacted to both the lipstick line as well as the old fish line, and it was clear he was taking a swipe at both of them, attempting to embarrass, demean and take away the thrust of McCain/Palin since their acceptance and her introduction.
With all the vitriol that the Liberals and Left in general have been going into overtime for against GOVERNOR Palin in order to discredit, demean and outright destroy her and her family, there is no way anyone could or should give The Golden Calf and his smear and vile merchants who support him a pass on this.
It should be held up as high as possible to demonstrate just what a disgusting pig he is, how he has not the brains nor the compassion too lead this country in negotiations or in delegations with foreign governments, is too mean and mean spirited to be trusted, and has yet to give this country and it’s voters a clear and concise look into who he is, where he is from, what he has done or what exactly his plans are. Just screaming “CHANGE, CHANGE, CHANGE” at every turn is not enough.
The veneer has worn off. It is time to put up or shut up, and his muzzle has been fitted a long time ago.
Anyone who votes for this less-than-a-man only demonstrates to their family, friends, country and the world that they are just as mean spirited, cold, heartless and bigoted as this buffoon is, and is only deserving of living in the Socialist Utopia that they crave so much…with all it’s wants and needs as well as destruction of freedom it entails.
He’s not even man enough to take them on face to face. He lends a whole new definition to the word “CAD”.
It already has. Ask Barry.
The Democrat Party Website is carrying a picture of a pig with lipstick and glasses in its dicsussion of Palin:
http://www.democrats.org/page/community/post/elizabethberry/Cgsq
Add this saga to the beating Obama took last spring over Rev. Wright, and I find it humorous how people think the MSM is trying to get Obama elected.
Palin has been raked over the coals because she’s new bait.
When is the last time John Sidney McCain received a lot of negative media attention on anything he’s done, associated with or said? The media has loved hime and his story for 10-20 years. Whatever. The citizens will decide this election, and the media won’t be to BLAME no matter what happens.
I wonder what his 12 dollar a year brother would do with a pig with lipstick??? It is wild how this man for so long rode the media gravy train and now it is not working for him. Just think where we’d be if Rush had not suggested that rep’s vote democrud in Ohio and Texas, all of this would have been hiden since the media would have just kept looking to the heavens for his arrival, Sorry but only Jesus will ever come out of the heavens. And in ALL my years as a Christian, I have NEVER made the mistake of saying,my Muslim faith, go figure that.
DNC official website first called Palin, “Lipstick on a pig.”
Or, as Rush, I think, just said. Gov. Palin should wipe her lipstick off and then say, “Now, all you have left is the pit bull!”
Lies and phony outrage? I would call this the biggest case of projection yet.
After two fraking weeks of having to listen to and deal with all the slander, the libel and just plain filth coming out of his campaign either directly or from his supporters, to say this only shows his complete denial as to what has been going on.
As I stated in my post above, they are trying to work it so that they can say anything they want, then turn it around on us and on the McCain/Palin ticket, stating that it was not what they meant, that we are twisting their words, that we are making it up, and attempting to create plausible deniability.
No…it is not going to work. Just because Liberals can scream “Racism” at everything including cake and universe anomalies, does not mean that screaming “Swift Boat” means you can get away with being able to say and do whatever you want.
We will not be intimidated by being called racists anymore, nor will we be intimidated by the “Swift Boat” label.
The “Swifties” were correct in what they said. Their book was accurate and truthful. Therefore, to say they are being “Swift Boated” means we are correct in our outrage and he and his followers are as foul and loathsome as the come, if not worse.
Didn’t two examples of the liberal, left leaning media just get slapped down for trying to get Obama elected? Keith-I write-for-the-Daily-Kos-Olbermann, and that tinglely Chris-I-get-tingles-from-Obama-Matthews?
The MSM biased toward the Obamasiah.. no way! lol
And what about Heart telling them not to use Barracuda in the rally’s?? It is not our style said Nancy Wilson. And other Men of the world do not make the same mistake I did, when she was talking at the convention I said to my wife how Badass she was, then MINE proved how badass she was and I was glad it wasn’t winter time cause it would have been real cold in that backyard
I think conservatives need to let go of this one, or they will be seen as playing the lib victim card to their detriment. McCain needs to stop harping on this one, it is a looser. Let’s focus on the issues, let’s counter the slime attacks (fake stories) re: Palin, let’s allow Palin to talk about issues now, not just repeat her speech. Time to take advantage of the bump and not let it go down, by becoming boring and getting involved in petty stuff. Let BO do that and dig himself in. McCain and Palin need to move on NOW!!!!! Or this will backfire.
So, we are ‘Swift Boating” him? We are making it up? It was just an old addage? It was not what he meant?
If you are going to try to get away with being a sexist and a liar, I would think you would make sure to get everyone on your team all on the same page. Even if you wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and say it wasn’t what he meant, that web page and the headline therein is proof that it is EXACTLY how every Liberal and Democrat took it. Damage done, and he cannot weasel his way out of it this time.
Um, yeah, he was being malicious. But was it with forethought or a slip of the tongue reflecting his true nature?
Between Obama and Biden, somebody (like our intrepid Michelle Malkin) should start writing a book about all the upcoming election “gaffes” we will be hearing. Title of the book to be called something like; “He Said What?”
At this point,, I disagree that we are playing the victim. If you listen to what The Tarnished Calf is saying today, it is HE that is playing the victim card. And everyone is growing real tired of everything being a “Swift Boat” attack.
“Swift Boat”= The truth being used to expose a liar and a fraud.
Actually, it’s the “Obama demonstrates he lacks manners and civility” card, MsJustice. But, to his credit, Obama was thoughtful enough to deal it out in public.
To be honest the only debate Americans are having is whether Obama did this out of nastiness or sheer stupidity. I think Americans don’t have a great appreciation for either of those attributes.
Somehow I think they are doing much more smiling than crying, what with all these great boo-boos Obama keeps providing. This is just another in a long line of ‘em.
And with today’s Gallup showing McCain holding his five point lead over Obama (48%-43%) I suspect the smiles are especially wide.
The reality here, MsJustice, is that this will be an albatross Obama has to bear, his own “Macaca moment” or, on a more familiar national level, “Dean Scream”. The McCain campaign has to do nothing more about it, Obama’s slam is now ingrained in the voting public’s mind. Obama can’t unring the Palin-Pig bell.
The bottom line is Obama willingly stepped into a big pile of doo-doo by making his comments and the McCain campaign was smart enough to call him on it.
The amazing thing to me is that this is the first time, in all the elections I’ve seen in my day, where you have the Presidential candidate of one party running against a VP candidate of the other party. e.g. Obama’s insistance on comparing his “community organizer” experience with Gov. Palin’s work as a mayor. Trust me, that’s dumb, dumb politics.
Obviously McCain’s selection of Palin as VP has rattled the Obama campaign to no end. They’ve been on the defensive, shaky and are looking increasingly amateurish. They just seem to have no idea on how to handle it.
I believe they have, Chick. It’s the public that’s talking about it now. When the other guy messes his pants like this, you point it out, make some hay and move on.
Well, if it were the McCain campaign’s sole reason for running for office I’d agree with you, RIChick. But it’s just another item in the defining and framing of Obama as a candidate who is, when the facade falls down, either stupid or nasty. Or both.
Placing the mental images in voter’s minds is extremely important. You may remember Geo HW Bush seeming to be perplexed by a supermarket scanner or Gore’s tendency to exaggeration. (Of course, if it weren’t for his brilliant inventions we couldn’t be having this confab today on the internet.) I could cite at least a half dozen of “Oopsies” that helped one side or another to define an oppsoing candidate.
But not to panic – if nothing else the speed of the news cycle changes the dialogue very quickly, so this will be old news fast. (But Obama’s name-calling will remain in people’s minds.) On this day in 2001 the big news was Gary Condit and Chandra Levy. The next day that story was maybe on page 30 of section C – if it was in the papers at all.
Hasn’t Obama (and his wife) been doing that since he started running for President, Mistressjustice?
OK, I got your context…the only disagreement (and its a small disagreement, by the way), is that there are several “N” words used in modern political discourse by both the left and the right..that is “Ni%%er” and “Nazi” (and whatever is or is not attached to the word, such as “feminazi” etc. ) I wanted to be specific to illusatrate something of stark value, hence I put the word in quotation marks to illustrate the word and its effect as very bad form of name calling…since calling Obama a “Nazi”-the other “N” word- would raise question marks in my mind as to its relevance at this point.
Your point is noted and I will try to be a little more careful
What might happen is VICTORY!
Go PALIN!
No prob at all, Runba – I’m not the cops here, lol. It’s just there are some words that kinda jump out atcha.
I’m mindful of not using some terminology mostly because it could be used in a wrongful attempt to discredit Michelle or a valid point she is making on a topic.
Good grief. Talk about a slow news day…
By the way, when Obama says his lipstick line, he wipes his brow with his middle finger lifted. It was a two-fer.
I love how standing up to the slander and libel is what they call “Crying” and “Whining”. Of course they want it to stop…otherwise they would be allowed to continue to smear, slander and libel unabated.
Standing up for what is right, what is truth and against bullies and thugs is not whining, nor is it playing at a game. It is quite telling of the person and their beliefs who would call it such.
