If Biden is found shot 27 times in the head with a single shot, .44 Mag pistol in his ‘weak’ hand, sitting with a clean suicide note pinned to his back, in Ft. Marcy Park on a park bench with no blood on or around him, I think that Obama needs to “one-up” McCain and put a lesbian on the ticket. It might just be time for Oprah to “come out dat closet, girl”! Gayle could become the 1st, First Butch, since Eleanor Roosevelt.
No matter what happens, I just can’t see Hillary on the ticket with Obama. I mean, Barack would be afraid to eat or drink anything on the campaign trail or at the White House if they won, and might succomb to his sudden onset of anorexia. His disorder would most likely be rooted in a fear of poisoning, not a fear of looking fat.
The only reason Biden would have made such an outlandish comment (this was no mistake) is clear. The Obama campaign is trying to court Hillary’s base constituency. Of course, they flat-out deny that they’ve lost control of HRC’s supporters to McCain/Palin….but you’d have to be smoking crack to believe it!!

Unfortunately it’s true according to crime statistics. However their rate of murder per 100,000 (5.4) is just a bit lower than gun controlled DC (33.5 per 100K), Alaska has 90.3 robberies per 100,000 people, DC has 658 per 100,000
In fact for most crimes Alaska is low, they’re ranked 48 over all. Thier only sore point is rape, and it always has been. With the rape statistics so high this appears to be a cultural thing

Forget Chicago. What about Oakland, CA? The democrats have run Oakland for decades now and the murder rate keeps going up. And Boxer is from CA! What a maroon. According to 2006 statistics, Oakland is 6th on the list with a murder rate of 36.4 per 100k. Chicago is 20th with a 16.4 rate. Matthews needs to actually ask some hardball questions.
By the way, Cleveland and St. Louis are ahead of Anchorage in the rape rate. Both democrat strongholds.

Slightly OT: Ob-uhm-uh had an interview with Letterman to be shown tonight.”Explaining” his comment, he said that Gov. Palin “was the lipstick” on the pig of the McCain policy/candidacy. So would I, and I live in CA. La-La land elects every statewide office. Win in LA and you win period. Boxer is originally from the same county as me, Marin. I got out when I realized it was Moron County. She was a county supervisor before becoming a US Rep and then Senator. The county had a chance to buy the old Hamilton AFB site for $1. Yes! As long as they used it for an airfield. Boxer put measures on the ballot to squash every possibility of using it for an airfield. The county is now in charge of most of the site and they paid a pretty penny for it.
I know Boxer’s history. She’s as looney as they come. By the way, she was also the biggest violator in the House banking scandal. Remember that?

Online porn is actually a big part of the problem. The government provides native villages with housing, schools, cable TV, and oil royalties. The work ethic has all but been destroyed among the Eskimo and turned many of them into lazy, porn addicted alcoholics. When you have money given to you, you don’t need to work. Without a job, there’s little reason to stay sober. And when parents are drunk, the children suffer neglect, abuse and incest.
I know someone who lives and teaches in a North Slope Eskimo village. She could give you endless accounts of neglected and abused women and children she has personally encountered there. It’s very sad. When everything is simply handed to people without them having to work for it, it destroys self-reliance and saps any motivation for self improvement. So, if you want to see what a liberal, nanny-state utopia looks like, go spend a winter in an Eskimo village in Alaska.
Maybe it is OBAMA who should step down…

But if Barack dumps Biden and then picks Hillary his judgment will rightly be questioned: why didn’t he get it right the first time!? Why are you so afraid of Palin?.
Worse, Hill and Bill will take away his power as a condition for standing with him, and he will be reduced to a nullity.
A great old cowboy movie (”Rio Bravo”) had Dean martin playing a drunk reduced to doing little dances in a saloon, for which cowboys would toss coins into a spittoon for him to fish out with his fingers.
If Hill’s on that ticket, politically (and as a MAN) that’s what Barack will be reduced to.

Here’s the scenario; in exchange for Hillary agreeing to be number 2 on his ticket, Bill will negotiate a one-term Obamessiah Presidency. Should they win, Obamessiah will bow out after one term to ’spend more time with family’ or some such dreck. Of course that puts Hillary in the driver’s seat for 2012, where she wanted to be since she didn’t make the cut this year. However, this way, she pads her resume’ with 4 years of Veep experience, and everyone (at least on the Left side of the isle) is happy. Hmmmm. What do you all think?

I’ve got to agree with a lot of the sentiment here regarding Biden’s inevitable concession as the Democrat VP nominee. I been suspecting this for a while now.
I’d give it better than a 50/50 chance we see an announcement by the end of this next week (9/19).
Hillary is dumb if she does. VP with Obama guarantees no Hillary POTUS in 2012. She needs Bama to lose now in order to have a shot at 2012.

As soon as Iid read and heard those silly comments by Biden, that is the first thought that came to mind.
A distant second was that BHO/Biden were lamely trying to court Hillary supporters.
But Biden’s comments sounded over-the-top too treacly and phony.
Rather than sounding crafted to win back supporters, his comments to me sounded more like fig-leaf cover for his gracious, unselfish, take-one-for-the-team bowing out of the race, and yielding the VP slot to…her.

So, I’m a guy so I can get away with this. But, doesn’t Alaska have the highest male:female ratio of any State? I’d be curious to see correlation data between the m/f ratio and rape incidence. I don’t think B. Boxer or the Kossacks have much of a leg to stand on criticizing Palin for this.

Obama should have made Clinton his VP candidate. If for no other reason than to unite the party. Not only that, but she has a better chance of attaining the Presidency than Biden. One should pick the VP to have a chance that the party dominates the White House, in the future. If Palin wins the VP, she has a good chance to continue on the the White House in 2012, if she watches herself, stays popular and impresses the party.
In the unlikely event Biden decided to bail out, I cannot believe Hillary would even consider the VP slot. There is too much bad blood and she has no interest in seeing him win. There is simply no reason for her to help out at this stage and will get to say “I told you so” when Obama gets crushed in Novenmber.

You know, my co-worker has what sounds like an outlandish hypothesis, but based on the sheer number of gaffes from the Obama machine lately, I’m no longer sure.
