Well put, emjem. President Bush has had the unlucky task of trying to protect us, too, while too many people who see the images and hear the sounds don’t want to fight back — jihad apologists who would rather lose because they don’t comprehend the terrorists’ agenda. The dhimmis feel that more understanding is needed. Esqueeze me, but the terrorists’ intentions are obvious. They don’t negotiate. They want us dead.

It’s getting late, but something compelled me to listen to Keven Cosgrove’s last words. I felt at that moment like everything was gone again, hopeless, dust and ashes. Part of me just wonders sometimes why people don’t care anymore about 9-11 except those of us who lost someone we cared about or those who recognize the tragedy that can’t be forgotten.

People like lgm, Rusty, others just want to forget. They don’t want to see the pictures, the videos, the transcripts, or the 9-1-1 calls. They don’t want to be reminded of the utter evil that exists, they just want to hammer Pres. Bush because he had the unlucky task of trying to heal us.

The US will never be whole again I fear. We’re so divided, we don’t know what’s important, and worse, many Americans want to hide in a bunker of helplessness and ignorance instead of confront what we face. No one else is gonna face these genocidal maniacs but us.

RIP, Kevin, you’re aren’t forgotten.

Of all the 9/11 moments, this is the one that hits me the hardest. Heartbreaking. Fills me with horror, sadness and anger.

I didn’t know Kevin Cosgrove, but after seeing this video, I feel like I did. Every time I’d see a video of the towers collapsing I couldn’t imagine the feeling of horror the people inside no doubtedly felt. Hearing the last few horrifying minutes of a man’s life is agonizing, but I don’t regret listening. The images, and now the sounds of death are forever burned into our memory, never to be forgotten.

Rest in peace Kevin.

This was the first time I saw the video with the transcript from the 911 call. It really puts things in perspective of what they were going through in the towers.

Oh this video … I saw it last year and I just … I watched it again this year. Because I must remember.

Two of my co-workers were in the north tower that day. One of them carried the other man out as they ran down the stairs. He was a heavy set man and he wanted to slow down and catch his breath. Angels were with the other man, and he told him they could not stop. They had to get out.

They are alive today because of those angels.

I hate terrorism. I hate the men who did that 7 years ago.

I suspect that Mr. Atta has not found what he expected when he committed this most awful and insane act.

His “paradise” is most likely something akin to the inner ring of Dante’s 7th circle. And I am willing to bet his “72 virgins” are male goats or worse. But that would still be better than he and his kind deserve.

This war between Islam and the rest of the world has been going on for nearly 1300 years. We need to wake up and realize that Islam is NOT a “religion of peace.”

I just drove under the bridge at Berkekely, CA on East 80. A whole bunch of a**holes had a sign up that said 9-11 was an inside job and they were jumping up and down. I beeped my horn and flipped them off as I drove under the bridge. They are lucky I didn’t stop and throttle one of them. I am originally from New York and my childhood friend, Peter Fry, was killed in the South Tower. He had a wife and two little girls, God Bless his soul! Sometimes I wonder why I moved out here and how I am going to raise my two girls right with all these lunatics living here, but they won’t win…we will.

I’ve seen this video before, and it is still powerful. We can never afford to forget the atrocities that were brought to our very door step, the lives of innocent people who were lost, or their pleas for help as they died. Their cries should still echo in our ears everyday until those who wronged this nation are brought to justice.
