I was unmarried and 26yrs old when they hit. Now that I’m older, married, and have a two year old, the grief is that much greater. To see the little kids that were on that flight, my mind can’t stop thinking about what I would tell my beautiful daughter if we were on that flight. The promise of a long and happy life gone.

I understand you are talking about “what if” you had been on that flight with your daughter. You are connecting with the emotions of the passengers on that flight who were parents flying with their young children.

Thinking about it from another perspective, if you had actually been on that flight seven years ago, your daughter would not be alive today for a different reason. You would not have lived to get married and give birth to her.

I pray it will never happen here again but I know that it only takes one mistake to make the pain grow.

God Bless all who died that day. May a Loving God embrace them and keep there families safe. May He heal those who still suffer and smite those who harbor ill will.

Each year people need to not only remember the people who’s lives were changed forever by this terrorist attack, they also need to remember how they felt: shock, anger, sadness—and vow to never let that happen again on our soil. Never.

Thank God our president at the time was Bush. Thank God.
