RINO tool calls Palin “cocky wacko”

By Michelle Malkin  •  September 11, 2008 12:59 PM

You know, I was going to try and refrain from P.D.S. alerts on the blog today during my 9/11 anniversary coverage.

Matt Damon and Roger Ebert? And that South Carolina Democrat party chairman? Eh.

But this latest outbreak can’t go unremarked. Former GOP Sen. Lincoln Chafee, RINO tool-turned-nutroots darling, trashed Gov. Palin at a left-wing gathering. Classic projection:

Former Rhode Island Republican Sen. Lincoln Chafee has called vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin a “cocky wacko” and said her selection as John McCain’s running mate has energized supporters of Democrat Barack Obama.

Chafee left the Republican Party last year after losing his bid for re-election and now supports Obama. He told an audience Tuesday at the New America Foundation in Washington that the Alaska governor has revived a “lackluster McCain candidacy.”

…”People were coming into my office, phone calls were flooding in, e-mails were coming in, ‘I just sent money to Obama, I couldn’t sleep last night’ — from the left. To see this cocky wacko up there,” Chafee said to laughter.

“Cocky wacko” is RINO tool-speak for self-confident conservative woman.

Yes, but there are two kinds of becoming energized: through enthusiasm, or fear.

One reflects an upward and uplifting spirit. And the other reeks of desperation.

And it’s pretty obvious which side is being energized by which motivator.

    Pot meet kettle.

After losing his daddy’s senate seat is more accurate. Lincoln didn’t quite measure up to daddy’s legacy, except in his own mind.

Had he not spent so much time and money trying to destroy Mayor Laffey in the primary he might have had a shot. Even Laffey could have beaten Whitehouse in a walk.

If Chafee’s phone rings once a day, I’d be surprised and it probably would be a telemarketer.

A follow-up on my earlier post, the most remarkable thing about Palin is that she has, in an amazingly brief time, reversed that equation vis-a-vis Republicans and donkeys.

For that reason alone, McCain’s choice of Palin was a brilliant, and probably decisive move.

Now the pawns are running around getting knocked off one by one, as the strategy of Obama has failed badly. Even Biden is saying Hillary would have made a better choice.

I assume John McCain chose Sarah Palin as his vice-presidential partner in a fit of pique because the Republican money men refused to let him have the stuffed male shirt he really wanted. She added nothing to the ticket that the Republicans didn’t already have sewn up, the white trash vote, the demographic that sullies America’s name inside and outside its borders yet has such a curious appeal for the right.

    So why do it?

It’s possible that Republican men, sexual inadequates that they are, really believe that women will vote for a woman just because she’s a woman. They’re unfamiliar with our true natures. Do they think vaginas call out to each other in the jungle night? I mean, I know men have their secret meetings at which they pledge to do manly things, like being irresponsible with their semen and postponing household repairs with glue and used matches. Guys will be guys, obviously.

Horseshoeing. SEVEN years. Is that something like community organizing?

Not to the horse, for whom it’s a useful function. Now for an Ass, it’s a different story.

I’m from RI, but I was stationed in VA when Chafee ran in 2000. I saw a debate on C-Span and was horrified that he apologized for most GOP stances while supporting most of Gore’s platforms.

Thank God he quit the party. See GOP’ers, this is what happens to your state organization when your leaders are “centrists”. The RI GOP is a joke, save the governor. In 2004, Kerry had a higher percentage in RI than MA.

Errah Thanks BAL for the link to this article. I was able to print it out and wipe my a$$ with it. This liberal frustrated aszhat is the reason I would change my mind on sex education in public schools so she could learn a thing or two. I’d also make her take a course in home repairs. BTW my wife likes my matchstick and popsicle stick artwork which covers our refrigerator and I’m thinking of selling some of my macaroni art on Ebay. As for irresponsible sailors, WTF what a rant! They are totaly unhinged errah.

In reference to Matt Damon’s rant about Sarah Palin – he repeatedly demands to know if Palin believes dinosaurs lived 4,000 years ago.

Needless to say, Damon is ignorant. He wants to know if Palin is a YEC (young earth creationist), those who believe that the earth was created in approximately 4,000 BC.

News flash to Damon – 4,000 BC is 6,000 years ago, not 4,000.

I am not a YEC, but if you are going to ridicule them for their beliefs, at least try to get the basic numbers right.
