This comes from the same people who hotly proclaimed that Republicans had taken Rev. Wright’s comments out of context – not because they didn’t quote whole sentences or whole paragraphs, but because they didn’t quote the whole sermon. Then when the whole sermon was quoted, they still claimed it was taken out of context because it wasn’t framed within the context of Rev. Wright’s entire life’s work.

Can we use the word “hypocrisy”, yet?

I’m assuming it’s hard for the MSM to understand what Palin actually said. This is how, if you’re going to rephrase the entire quote, it should go (my apologies to our armed services):

Pray…
for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also,
…for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending [U.S. soldiers] out on a task that is from God…
That’s what we have to make sure that we’re praying for,
…that there is a plan and that that plan is God’s plan.

A lot of “that’s” in there. Now take out the relevant “that’s” from the previous re-quote, and it reads a little differently:

Pray…
for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also,
…for this country[.]
that
…[O]ur leaders, our national leaders, are sending [U.S. soldiers] out on a task that is from God[.]
That’s what we have to make sure that we’re praying for, that
[T]here is a plan and that that plan is God’s plan.

WallahVoila! Whole new MSM-ified meaning!!1! I know I’m not the only one to look at it that way. Howie K missed the memo. He got the meme right, though.

We all have different moral standards — what we consider good and evil — but it’s Gov. Palin’s strength and conviction in those morals that many admire. Her moral code is derived from Christianity. Is there something wrong with that? If anyone were to question Islamic moral code, who would be on top of that like flies on poop? Never mind, I already know the answer to that one.

Palin came out of nowhere like Obama had, and she’s running for Veep. By the time he began running for the Presidency in earnest, Obama had completed, at best, the equivalent to Palin in terms of a professional political career (and a much different one). If — God forbid — anything should happen to Obama in office, is Biden ready? If Obama Biden is currently getting the same amount of scrutiny by the media that Sarah’s been handling, I need to be reminded.

Certain people think that only Palin should speak for herself in her own defense. Um, in that, uh, case, ah, I guess Biden Obama supporters must also need to admit that Hillary might have been a better Veep permission to defend him.

Expect Gwen Ifill to throw softballs at Biden while trying to nail Palin on the chin with fast ones during the VP debate, delving deep into Palin’s past and questioning her acquaintances. Because, y’know, Biden’s been around a long time and all the evaluation on him was done a long time ago. Diggy-dig-dig into Biden, please. Surprise me.
