Did anyone see the new stuff for sale by the Obama team, “…the latest move in an ambitious effort to win over religious voters.”?
It’s merchanise that reads, “Believers for Obama”.
This he thinks will win over religious voters; being able to buy some coffee cup and T-shirt with a slogan on it?
He’ll lose more voters than he’ll “win over”, I dare say.
Wow. And he thinks McCain is out of touch.

That’s some respect for life for ya, huh, Dems?

The Dems really have their priorities straight, don’t they?

Did you actually look at the site and miss the anti-Obama stuff altogether?

Mookie, I actually didn’t catch the anti-Obama stuff since I focused on the anti-Palin crap. Hint, it’s an anti-Palin merchandise of the day thread

Why should I care about the anti-Obama stuff? I’m not interested in buying it anyway. I’ve already been made aware that the merchandise site is equal opportunity offense against both candidates. I’m not surprised.

Please provide a link to a someone other than a commenter on a public access blog saying these things.

Plenty of comments about the National Enquirer’s allegation of the affair, mostly repeated by liberal bloggers.

However, that had little to do with the fact that, as I posted earlier: “Despite the fact that Senator Obama has self-righteously intoned that ‘families are off-limits,’ Democratic Party activists and their proxies continue to smear both Senator McCain and Governor Palin.” Those smears are all over the internet and most of them can be traced back to either Daily Kos (which admittedly has pulled the more egregious ones) or other leftist tools. Once the smears are posted, they get repeated by the MSM, if only by a “reporter” pooh-poohing the “rumor.”

Both campaigns have a fringe element that’s already “down in the dirt”.

It reminds me of a crowd focusing on a mud wrestling contest while a group of pickpockets merrily ply their trade on the distracted crowd.

    Anyone for discussing real issues?

    ehhh…..I thought not.

    You really believe that bilge??

    Lessee…

    Palin is a(n)

    hypocrite
    Irresponsible mother

    adulterer
    liar
    “Theocrat”

    censor
    “extremist”
    child molester (Randi Rhodes)
abuser of her public office for personal gain
    drug user
    warmonger
    Pontius Pilate to Obama’s Jesus

ALL the above have been at least FLOATED by MAJOR NEWS NETWORKS, NATIONALLY KNOWN DEMOCRAT PARTY members, ENTERTAINMENT/CULTURAL, and ACADEMIC personalities. ALL within TWO WEEKS of her nomination. None of them relating to her policy positions–just personal attack garbage. And now they’re hacking into her personal mail (not to mention combing through her travel expense records and so forth and demanding her tax returns. AGAIN–ALL MAJOR POLITICAL/MEDIA/CULTURAL/ACADEMIC FIGURES doing all the above (excepting the e-mail hacking so far as we know).

Can you please show me something comparable from the “other side” that has been done to Obama? If not, please let go the “both sides have their fringe” crap once and for all.
And don’t try the weasel apples-to-orange comparison of stuff said about Obama’s associations–those are absolutely germane to his THOUGHT, not his person. He’s lucky he’s not being tried for treason for conducting foreign policy behind the president’s back.

    And, oh, by the way…

It IS a real issue when most of the leadership of a national party along with the mainstream media are involved in wholesale character assassination of a kind hardly seen in American politics since the late 18th/early 19th century.

To jump on your [IndependentTom's] analogy bandwagon, it’s like happening upon a guy who has two guy holding his arms behind his back while another is slugging him in the gut and snidely intoning, “Now…can we stop with BOTH SIDES doing all this nasty fighting and get to the real issue here?” And add to the scenario that every time someone tries to point out that the guys holding man’s arms behind his back are a bunch of thugs, that person is shouted down as a “partisan.”

Uhh HELLO! The issue now IS the trashing of the individual!! In itself it is an issue worthy of discussion, not a “distraction” from “real” issues because it speaks volumes about the nature and character of the opposition.

With your mentality, I can just see you in Germany the day after Kristallnacht urging “both sides” to “get along” and stop distracting from the “real problems” the country faced.

One last thought before I head off to bed…

How long until someone claims that Palin faked the whole e-mail hacking thing or at least that the GOP did it to “smear” Obama?
