Race traitor card-playing e-mail of the day

By Michelle Malkin  •  September 15, 2008 04:25 PM

A race-obsessed journalist who works for Pacifica Radio tells me how I’m supposed to think, act, and write. “Don’t forget you’re brown,” she scolds.

Oh, thanks for reminding me, sister. I know you and “your people” won’t let me forget that skin color is supposed to dictate ideology. I’ve been hearing it for 20 years.

i’ve read your stories throughout the years.

and i have to say, from one pinay journalist to another, you embarrass me and you embarrass our people.

i’m sorry the US media has used you, larry elders and other conservative drones of color to bolster their quota numbers.

what we need are more conscious journalists of color, not just another mainstream token acting as a cheerleader for the conservative right.

hopefully someday, you will find genuine connections with others and see how much damage you have done with your recklessly crafted pieces.

Is not the Philippines a generally conservative Catholic country (at least in Luzon and Visayas) that values tolerance and diversity? Ms. Albano does nothing to honor her country or her people by taking cheap shots at others because their political beliefs differ from hers.

    When did this happen?

Oh, thanks for reminding me, sister. I know you and “your people” won’t let me forget that skin color is supposed to dictate ideology. I’ve been hearing it for 20 years.

So.. you became a journalist/commentator when you turned 9?

No one’s ever read anything you’ve wrote throughout the years.

And I have to say, from one wanna-be journalist to another, you embarrass me and you embarrass all real journalists with your lack of basic punctuation skills.

I’m sorry the US media used you, Geraldo and other lefty drones of color to bolster their quota numbers.

What we need are more conscious journalists of any color who possess common sense, not just another liberal token acting as a cheerleader for the deranged anti-America left.

Hopefully, someday, you will find genuine connections with reality and see how much damage you could have done with your poorly written pieces had anyone ever read them.

Michelle – I sure wish the media could decide once and for all what color you are. Then they can inform you and you can act accordingly.

Reminds me of a SouthPark episode (Yes, I have seen SouthPark) where Cartman doesn’t know who his dad is, so each time he thinks he’s found out (first Indian, then black) he takes on the stereotypical persona of that race.

Sad that the left truly expects that. No individual thinking allowed. Only groupthink based on skin color or sexual identity.

I’m glad you’ve helped corrupt me oh great leader… To honor you, do I light incense, smoke a peace pipe or play some rap music… I need to know since I can’t make my own decisions. I can only follow you.

My wife is brown too (Indonesian). I suppose I need to run downstairs and tell her to stop disliking Obama. Too bad that she came to this country, and became a conservative (becauses she enjoys American History). Now, I’ll have to explain to her that she is a traitor. Such a bitter pill to swallow will go down much easier, when I tell her that Michelle is a traitor too.

See comment #34. Pinoy refers to a male (lalaki). Pinay refers to a female (babae).

Hang in there Michelle. Consider how fortunate you are that you are not like these “unhinged” types — all they have is their hatred, and they are consumed by it.

    My collie says:

If Michelle ever tires of getting bashed by the humans, she’s certainly welcome to become an honorary collie. Of course, she’ll have to grow out a bit more hair, but I’m confident that the rest of the collies will treat her WAY better than her “own kind”.

I mean shouldn’t we all get to decide what race we are too? All this fuss over a little melanin…. Can’t I be a “person of color” if I feel like a “person of color?”

I took a look at the stationsd list that this ‘radio personality’ broadcasts on. Most are low-wattage college (50 watt or less with a tail wind) type stations and about a 10% are NPR affiliates. I wouldn’t worry too much about what Leilani Albano has to say – nutroots with nothing better to do than eat granola and smoking rope are her primary audience. Big woop.

Perhaps if Leilani were conscious she would realize that it is she who is used politically. But then again, to make such pathetic arguments in her letter, its best to leave minds like that unconscious.

I wasn’t trying to stir up controversy, nor was I trying to not get along. I happen to be one of Michelle’s biggest fans, and will go out of my way to tune in a broadcast where she is a guest.

Let me remind you that it was you who said that I sounded like a typical white person.

As a “typical white person” I just find it curious that some people call Asians brown. Apparently, then, anyone who is not white is brown?

I just got back from the grocery store where 4 magazines in a row were:

National Enquirer – Palin’s Dark Secret

US – Well, you know that one.

OK – Sarah and Trig – Something about Sarah’s scandal and her ‘painful choice’
