Im an ex-navy dude (6 years active duty) and all my digits are still working fine! Email is on the way. This suggestion should also go to all VFW halls.
First class response to the little pencil-necked Marxist.
Here’s my comment.
Im a veteran of the US Navy (6 years Active Duty) and all my fingers and toes work perfectly fine, thankfully. You want to “change the tone in Washington”, well If insulting an American War Hero is your idea of “changing the tone” you’re doing a lousy job. Oh and while you’re at it give your buddy Bill Ayers, my regards. I have no problem protecting the very flag he was stomping on.
Can someone post the email address? I’m at work and firewalled from that site. Grrrrrr!!!
Its not an email address. Its Bambi’s comment section.

And faster than mine.
Just sent my email. Obama is one of my
senators, and none of the email I’ve sent
him, or phone calls, has ever been
responded to. Guess he was just too
busy voting ‘present’.
That snot-nosed unctuous weasel Bill Burton was just on Fox and Friends. What a rude, off-putting punk. Hemmer looked like he wanted to throttle the guy, but Burton was in Chicago. He refused to give a straight answer regarding McCain’s disability and deliberately misquoted the man on the economy (he looked shocked at Hemmer’s nerve when Hemmer corrected him).
This whole band of whack jobs needs to be soundly defeated in November. I’m off to take a really hot shower with lots of soap now…
There’s a difference between hard hitting perhaps unfair ads that are true (like this one) and ones that are outright 100% fabrication (Obama and sex education).
The POW defense. Is that the reason he lies about his tax plans? Is it the reason he approves lying ad after lying smearing ad?
If this were true, the McCain campaign would have said so “in a nanosecond”. If McCain can hold a pencil, he can type an email.
Why hasn’t McCain come out with a full bore response to the Technology ad?
Scene, the cockpit of an A4 attack jet, shifts to images of a busy Committee hearing and various high tech innovations, ending with FDR’s chair.
McCain: This used to be my office. Now I’m in the Senate where for 6 years I chaired the Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee. These days I serve on several subcommittees including the sub-committee on Science, Technology and Innovation. I serve on the Committee on Indian Affairs. Also I serve on the Armed Services Committee as the senior Republican I serve on all the sub committees. Obviously we deal with highly sophisticated and sensitive emerging technologies to ensure that only the best is found and developed to strengthen our nation. These Committees are all pretty busy and we try to get good work done in a bi-partisan manner. I should note that my opponent Mr. Obama also is chair of a sub-committee, responsible for overseeing our relations with an important part of the world but under his watch they have held no hearings at all.
It is true however that I do not spend a lot of time surfing the internet or typing on a keyboard. That need not be of concern I would think since the President, as a matter of security, does not use personal email or surf the internet. We hire people to do that for the President. More important is that I do not like to use a keyboard since I was tortured while a prisoner of war. I did not see before why it should be an issue any more than it was an issue when Franklin Roosevelt was President while confined to a wheel chair.
Oh, lookie! Biden plays the race card in Charlotte, NC!
I will send that comment as soon as I get home tonight.
Ssh! I think B. HUSSEIN Obama is having a “3AM” moment -
Dear Mr. Obama, I’m sending you an email on behalf of John McCain. You know he had skin cancer and wears a hat when he is in the sun. Maybe you can make fun of that in your next ad. He probably doesn’t vacation on the beach in Hawaii either. Remember to put that in your next ad.
Boy when you take off the gloves you really lose all sense of integrity. Maybe you should put them back on.

purpleBpeep look over at right side of David Barton’s series on wallbuilders.com
you will see a link to cornerstone tv as well as another Christian station.
it is my understanding they both stream online, albeit I watch on teevee so 4give me if wrong. Sure bet is to buy the content would make great home schooling and or flic night at Church.
P it is THAT important as you well know to counter the endless dem slack lie that America has no Judeo/Christian roots.
David Barton is a gift from God
DANG! What an amazing to the point letter. Wish I’d written that.
lgm you, Lindsay Lohan and that classy babe Pam Anderson need to have yourselves a big ‘ol glass of shut-up. Your are embarrassing yourselves.
I not only sent an e-mail for President McCain to the Sniveling One, I also sent another missive to ABC for Friday’s episode of “The Spew,” expressing my objection to the their treatment of the President Elect.
Is that show really how Barbara Walters wants people to remember her career?
Give a monkey a keyboard and he still flings his poo around.
I sent mine earlier today and have urged all Vets I know to do the same:
So lgm, do you have to work hard at being pitifully, embarrassingly unintelligent, or does it come natural?
I don’t know what’s worse? Obama has deliberately tried to delay the withdrawal of troops for political gain.
That’s right. Obama gambles with the lives of the GIs for political gain.
That he wants to “sex-ed” Kindergartners? Even last year he demanded that the little one’s questions should be answered by “educators” instead of the Kindergartner’s parents:
“Obama said. ‘If they ask a teacher ‘where do babies come from,’ that providing information that the fact is that it’s not a stork is probably not an unhealthy thing.”
(ABC News)
Sex Ed for Kindergarteners ‘Right Thing to Do,’ Says Obama
I’d venture a wild guess that most folks think these little one’s time should be spent napping on rugs and listening to the stories read them instead. I’ll also go way out on a limb here and suggest that parents don’t put “Britney Rainbeau Has Three Poly-Sexual Moms” type books at the top of that reading list.
I guess The One “fabricated” his own words…
CTmom,
lawdy don’t tell me they are digging up that again?? why do you think obama has been vacationing in sunny zones? back in the spring he had to wear sun dye crap dman wish I saved that pic of him doing the tie off sleeve rolled up charade and it showed him to be makeup metrosexual fella: distinct line below the collar.
YES I know to some this is dicey topic
but the facts is the facts..
and oh at the time if anyone recalls there was a fake claim that Hillary or was it GOP well either one anyway the claim was made that someone put out a pic with obama looking darker!!
defer to those who are handy that way to link. was to counter obama fakes his color to appel to ghetto blacks
Good letter, soldier. The only suggestion I’d add is to cite ABC’s Jake Tapper’s article as a good alternative reference:
Why Doesn’t McCain Use a Computer?
From the article:
“Assuredly McCain isn’t comfortable talking about this — and the McCain campaign discouraged me from writing about this — but the reason the aged Arizonan doesn’t use a computer or send email is because of his war wounds.
I realize some of the nastier liberals in the blogosphere will see this as McCain once again “playing the POW card,” but it’s simply a fact: typing on a regular keyboard for any sustained period of time bothers McCain physically.
He can type, he occasionally does type, but in general the injuries he sustained as a POW — ones that make it impossible for him to raise his arms high enough to comb his hair — mean that small tasks make his shoulders ache, so he tries to avoid any repetitive exercise.
Again, it’s not that he can’t type, he just by habit avoids when he can repetitive exercise involving his arms. He does if he has to, as with handshaking or autographs.
It’s certainly possible that the Obama campaign did not know this, since McCain makes it sound in interviews as if this is a matter of choice, not discomfort because of his war wounds.
“I read my e-mails, but I don’t write any,” McCain told Fortune Magazine in 2006. “I’m a Neanderthal - I don’t even type. I do have rudimentary capabilities to call up some websites, like the New York Times online, that sort of stuff. No laptop. No PalmPilot. I prefer my schedule on notecards, which I keep in my jacket pocket.”
Why not? He [B. Hussein Obama] has everything else!
Purp!!
glad to see you post. hope that clears it up sorry for delay.
Ah well, I had a little fun with mine.

Because their PR people are incompetent.
Given the collectivist nature of Obama, Biden, and the democrats, this should be a walk in the park… there are plenty of speeches in which Obama derides the individual and hails the collective - and pretty much uses those words.
A good campaigner could smash Obama into a pulp in five days flat, if they really got into what Obama stands for.
Instead it’s all about having a “civil” campaign.
Would you have a “civil” campaign against Hitler or Stalin or Chairman Mao? I submit that Obama has the same philosophies.

Film flan man,
that is a very odd conclusion on your part and totally off the mark.
Good point. What I am thinking is if we can get as many people to send these letters out to the Obama campaign and send copies to the media also then perhaps we can get the media’s attention and that could lead to getting the nations attention.
E-mail sent. Thanks Michelle and Mr Graham and all vets past and present.
This may just be the busiest day on the Obama website yet…lol

Explain. I’m not getting enough vibes out of your post to determine if you are a collectivist who doesn’t want people to know that Obama is a collectivist, or if you are someone who thinks McCain’s PR people are the most awesome campaigners on the planet.
Precisely, Film Ladd! There is NO EXCUSE for their not having had better control over the visuals of the Sarah Palin interview with “Headmaster Gibson.” And for crying out loud, even an inept grade school photographer would have caught the lighting manipulations of the Atlantic’s cover-shoot.
My email is on its way.
Last week Graham was collecting Lipsticks at a local Boston restaurant to send to the Obama campaign.
I met Michael Graham in an elevator at the Republican Convention. He was very nice and very funny, seemed like a great guy.

I would have fired them all. McCain’s running a Republican 2000 campaign. It should be a 2008 conservative campaign.
The only smart thing he’s done is get Palin into the mix, which is why I’m voting for him now.
I think the McCain campaign has done some great hard hitiing ads, but I agree they need to learn how to use the media instead of the media using them.
They should take a page out of the Reagan playbook on how to play the media to their best advantage. If the media doesn’t play nice, you go over it’s head to the people using ads, “plain talk”, the amazing Palin, talk radio/friendly media, etc and wait let the debates just be topping on the cake. When you got the lead you can make some rules of your own, you don’t have to play by the media’s.
Film (and others). I’d agree that this so called “civil” campaigning is pathetic - however, you have to remember (and I admit, I often have a hard time remembering this)…the people that the campaign is trying to convince at this point to vote in their favor are the mindless in the middle. The ones who have little or no core values. I’ll even go so far as to say lgm has a core value (although I disagree with it 100%). His is if it’s conservative, he’s against it. At least it’s a core value. The people who are targeted now are those who couldn’t tell the difference between up and down, right and wrong, life and death. Consequently, the campaign has to do all sorts of contortions to somehow appeal to these mindless ones.
They are simply looking to have their itching ears scratched.
I am starting to get a little worried…
My ability to be a communications expert (email, blogging, instant messaging) has seriously impaired my ability to be a community organizer.
Since Obama has now added computer engineering to his skill set, maybe he can finish recovering those White House emails of Al Gore’s from back in 1999.
I’m a older then 60 military dude, and if I have to be cut down in battle to only a stump of my body much like that knight in Monty Python’s “In Search of the Holy Grail” so be it !
My oath as a member of the military was to protect this country against ALL ENEMIES both Domestic or Foreign, so help me God, even in a wheel chair if it comes down to that !!!
I think Obama & his crew…much like that line from Mel Brooks movie “High Anxiety” need to take 2 aspirin & an emema !!!
Don’t just email the Junior Senator, CC every news organization. Get the word out.
#43 …I said “Emema” instead of “Enema” for the phonically challenged dems…or maybe my over 60 disabled veterans fingers hit the wrong key (since the B key is left of N)???
By the way, blogger Jim Treacher is reporting that - as of yesterday at 12:10 pm - the YouTube version of this video had 250,000 hits and only FIVE comments.
All pro-Obama.
Censor much?
I tried to post a response comment to the video pointing out McCains hand/arm disabilities.Needless to say, it never saw the light of day. Either comments have been disabled after the initial ones or the little snot leftist censors working for the YouTube/Google empire have been making sure they don’t show up.
I’m calling BS on this one. Quadriplegics can send emails. Silly premise.
Eagle # 48:
You are right about quadraplegics. But what if Sen McCain chooses NOT to use e-mail and texting and all the other impersonal means of communication available out there?
Who says ALL forms of communication HAVE to go over the internet? What ever happened to a good old fashioned hand-written letter or even a typed letter?
BTW, what, pray-tell, does Internet or tech savvy have to do with leadership? If there were to be a tech-savvy contest, fighter pilots (like Sen McCain) would win hands-down because they had to fly and fight while navigating, not running into the ground or one of the other airplanes in the fight, dodge the enemy missiles and bullets and still get bombs on the target.
To give you an inkling of what that would be like, imagine driving in rush-hour traffic at 120 mph with a manual transmission, trying to text someone, dig for change for the toll and drink your Starbucks all while digging for your kid’s teddy that got dropped in the back seat. Oh, BTW, some of your fellow drivers would be shooting at you!
Fights on!

OOPS! Sorry for the double entry — lag in the system from Submit to message going!
My bad!
Try This.
Dear Mr.McCain,
Many older people don’t know how to use the internet. Well the good news is this liberal doesn’t care if you know how to use the internet or not. Most of the information on the net is false, so I guess misinformation. Also, there is way too much porn on here. It’s creepy. So stay away from the magical box and its all good.
I forgot you won’t be able to read this but maybe someone will help you and you will see it. Cheers.
R.Mann
Hey “EAGLEHASLANDED #48″ do you mean missing both legs when you say Quadriplegic? or both arms & legs?
Ether way I prescribe 2 aspirin and a warm enema for you too!!!!
Usually we mock what you say - now you’re just flat out embarrassing yourself.
This is a good idea, however, speaking from experience is if you send an email to the Obama campaign, you will be on their mailing and begging-for-dollars list forever. After ignoring my requests to be removed, I finally had their email tagged as spam.
At the risk of sounding insensitive here, but there is a difference. Someone who is paralyzed (be they quadriplegics or paraplegics) have - by the very definition of that condition - greatly diminished/non-existent nerve capabilities. In other words, they cannot move and they cannot feel because nerves are greatly damaged or destroyed.
Now, I’m not in any way saying that’s preferable to McCain’s injuries. But it’s obvious to me (who has many family members with severe arthritis and other muscle-skeletal ailments) that McCain probably has to deal with pain and does what he can to minimize activity that increases the pain.
Which is a perfectly sensible approach.
By the larger issue here is the real face of Obama being revealed. Not the stately, well-spoken politician – but a petty, vindictive, cheap-shot taker with thin skin and a temper.
Whether McCain sends 1 e-mail a day or 50, it is a non-issue in the debate. By the way, Bill Clinton sent something like 1 e-mail while President. Was he unfit for office?
Not only that, but McCain qualified to fly the most state-of-the-art attack plane of the day.
I’ll refrain from saying something personal about Obama.
Dear Obummer,
Your campaign really sucks. Are you really about new ideas or old liberal ones repackaged with your face on them? Your misleading attacks may appeal to those who can’t think for themselves but to those of us who value truth and actual dialogue, you seem to be playing the same old Washington politics as usual gambit.
To attack a person who actually served his country in a substantive way is absurd. You say you have respect for McCain’s “service” but you don’t show it. Well, that really seems to indicate your leadership “qualities” for those in our military.
This military spouse doesn’t buy it. Try again.
Here’s mine, just sent it:
Here is another email for John McCain, since he can’t write them himself. Here is hoping that you terrorist buddy Bill Ayers is doing well and you spent all the money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac wisely –
Suggestion for the Obama store, why not add some Che Guevara t-shirts and some hacky sacks for the left-tards that are dumb enough to shop for your mercahndise?

Dear Sen. Obama,
I’d like to echo the sentiments below… fact is, I cannot. See, it’s not just the disdain for the elderly (which, I’m sure, was your intent - something to the effect of “McCain isn’t ‘cool’ because he didn’t announce his running mate by text message but ~I~ did!”) or disrespect of his military service (as we saw during your recent trip ’round the world when you skipped out on visiting service men and women in the hospital - preferring a trip to the gym, I think…); no, I think the author gives you too much credit. Probably you did ~not~ know about Maverick’s injuries. Likely you were too focused on how nifty it is to be the young stud on the ticket. Just another of many gaffes which will go under reported.
Thanks - but no thanks. I’m voting the responsible ticket: McCain/Palin.
Sincerely,

I just finished watching your latest attempt to “change the tone in Washington”—your ad attacking John McCain because he “can’t send an email.”
Like Sen. McCain, I understand that politics ain’t beanbag. Negative ads are part of the business. In fact, as a former political consultant, I used to run them myself.
{end message rehash}
The 3rd friday in sept. of every year is “National POW-MIA Day”… this friday sept. 19 2008 will be the next one. Ya Think one of his elite minded crew ever thought to look that up on the internet???
Yup, EQ1, we’re talking basic common sense here. It’s like the old comedy bit goes:
Patient:
“Doctor, it hurts when I do this.”
Doctor:
“Well, then don’t do that.”
Sadly, Obama may be correct. I don’t know if Sen. McCain or his staff can send an e-mail or even a snail mail for that matter. I have e-mailed and snail mailed the Senator’s campaign at least 30 times in the last couple of months to express my concern about his silence on the subject of
Comprehensive Immigration Reformamnesty forundocumented migrant workersillegal aliens. To date, I have received no response. By the way, the same can be said of my e-mails and snail mails on this subject to Sen. Obama.OHHHHH NOOOOO….
…the trick’s on me! I’m receiving gimmemoneyandgimmemoneyNOW emails from the Obama campaign!!
I sent one for McCain, and if I get campaign solicitations, I’ll know they didn’t read it. I won’t read the first one.
I sent mine this morning, and wouldn’t you know it, they subscribed me to get their latest campaign email garbage. I got the Karl Rove one mentioned elsewhere. I had to go unsubscribe. That is VERY sleazy to subscribe someone just for sending a comment.
Wow, you really tap dance here! Dem: “hard hitting perhaps unfair” to Repub: “outright 100% fabrication.”
Are you outright 100% blind to your own ridiculously blatant bias? No, I didn’t think so.
From the Tapper interview in purplepeep’s post #25:
Ball’s in your court, lgm! Ohhh! It looks like it just hit you smack in the head! What a shame! Even other liberals see you for what you are.
Well that explains Obama’s small donors: they harass them until they send a few buck to make it stop.
Nice racket. RICO anyone?
I wish you would hold your breath.
For about a week.
Knowing the idiots in Oblahblah’s campaign, he’ll appear on the Spew along with Hanoi Jane.
Speaking of Sept 19th….. its ALWAYS “Talk Like A Pirate” Day! ARRRR!!
http://www.talklikeapirate.com/piratehome.html
fixed that for you. ALL politicians are pretty shameless, and I wasn’t intending to vote this year until Palin came on the scene, but even moreso since the best the noobama clan can do is pick fun at a war veteran that was tortured while defending their commie a$$es. Nose plugs no longer required, thank you.
