Just because someone favors secession doesn’t mean they are a radical antistatist.

Even if it did, it’s interesting how quickly you use the word “hate” to describe antistatism.

Interesting, but not surprising.

lgm, isn't the United States a voluntary federation of individual states? Not just a glob of contiguous real estate, but separately functioning entities that willingly come together for the betterment of the whole, and that reserve the right to challenge that "wholeness" when it is no longer for the betterment of all.

"Warning: Do not send your kids to Connecticut College…"

Obviously, an unnecessary warning for regular posters to the comments threads of the Daily Malkin. Unless the children are significantly better educated than the parents seem to be, I doubt they could get accepted in the first place.

This is not true. He’s a vet. His “G-d damn America” was part of a larger thought. More or less the same thought is carved in stone in Washington — in the Lincoln memorial: America will and deserves to be punished by G-d for the evil of racial discrimination. Did Lincoln hate America?

Hmmm. Defending a racist now, are we? And invoking the image of Lincoln to do it? Lincoln was referring to the scourge of the Civil War. Wright, in addition to setting himself up in a nice mansion etc., is trying to foment further racial division rather than any sort of healing, put-it-all-behind-us action. He is no better than those shakedown artists, Jackson and Sharpton.

I believe they call them "race baiting poverty pimps."

If you defend that, you are no better. You are a racism enabler.

You should know better, and so should Obama.

Founded in Chicago in 1919, the Communist Party of the United States has an outstanding history in the struggles for peace, democratic rights, racial and gender equality, economic justice, union organization, and international solidarity. Our Party is organized on the principle of democratic centralism, combining maximum democratic discussion and decision-making with maximum unity of will and action, ensuring our ability to play a strong organizing role in the class struggle. We focus our efforts on increasing our ability to organize millions into struggle, fighting anti-communism as a divisive weapon of the capitalist class. With Marxism-Leninism guiding our actions, the Communist Party strives to build the broadest unity against global capitalist imperialism now headed by U.S. imperialism, for immediate gains and reforms that benefit working people, and for a progressive democratization of the government, the economy, and society of our country on the road to and after winning socialism.

With pride in our past and confidence in our future, we hereby establish this Constitution of the Communist Party of the United States America.

Conn faces the same infestation of the libs as virtually 95% of US Colleges. As the parent of a recent graduate I can say that this is a quality college - and to throw out the baby with the bathwater as I see is done here is just stupid. There are many, many high caliber and non-biased professionals teaching at Conn - they are dedicated to teaching kids to think - not to swallow what they think. To condemn all based on the stupidity of some is not only unfair, but a losing proposition.
You are not going to stop the indoctrination until we get better teachers, but you can protect your children by teaching them to think for themselves and to look at all sides of an issue before deciding. They can be the leaders and teachers of the future.
I will be writing the president of the college to express my outrage at this teachers uneducated and biased remarks and I urge you to do the same - Pres. Leo Higdon lee.higdon@conncoll.edu. Our institutions need to understand when the line is crossed.

Soaps-
Thanks for telling why Blindmule was banned. I was wondering why I haven't seen him in awhile.

So if putting lgm's face on a nazi uniform is enough to get mule banned, then I want LGM banned because of his vitrolic vet comments.

Hey if freespeach means freespeach, then bring back Blindmule-if not then its time to ban LGM for the sake of equality.

Thanks for telling why Blindmule was banned. I was wondering why I haven’t seen him in awhile.

So if putting lgm’s face on a nazi uniform is enough to get mule banned, then I want LGM banned because of his vitrolic vet comments.

Hey if freespeach means freespeach, then bring back Blindmule-if not then its time to ban LGM for the sake of equality.
