Breaking news: Obama is half-black

Psssst.

I’ve got an exclusive. Over the past 20 months, you may not have figured this out yet:

Barack Obama is…

half-black.

He’s different.

He’s got a funny name.

He doesn’t look like other presidents we’ve had.

And from now until Election Day, if you haven’t figured it out yet — and whether or not you give a damn — Obama’s Democrat operatives will keep regurgitating this vital information while accusing conservatives
of obsessing about it.

Because the race card is all they have left in their deck.

Following on Joe Biden’s “My running mate is a TRANSFORMATIVE BLACK MAN” pitch to North Carolina black voters earlier this week, Kansas Democrat dud governor Kathleen Sebelius was out on the campaign trail attacking Republicans as racists as she harped on Barack Obama’s skin color:

“Have any of you noticed that Barack Obama is part African-American?” Sebelius asked with sarcasm. “(Republicans) are not going to go lightly into the darkness.”

Sebelius was responding to a question from the audience at the Iowa City Public Library about the tenacity of Democrats and whether they would fight for victory as hard as Republicans in the closing weeks of the election.

She did not elaborate on her comment.

Perhaps she’d care to elaborate on the left-wing union leaders who have acknowledged that their rank-and-file are the ones opposing Obama based on race.

Oops. Doesn’t fit the narrative…

More race-card flailing from CNN’s Jack Cafferty.

I have never figured why Fox News keeps calling Obama black. He is no more Black than White, so Gray would be a better term. Not only that, but Obama was raised White, by your typical white grandmother.
Of course Wright, his mentor, is 3/4ths White, so I guess they see White as a taint.

As a conservative, I’d have to answer Sibelius’s question by stating that no, I didn’t notice he was half black until you pointed it out. You see, we’re color blind here on the conservative side.

I guess they’d like for the other side to say he’s half white. You know, “Great taste, Less Filling” type of argument.

Concur with tiredofit08. I could care less what the color of someone’s skin is, or what country they were born in, or who their parents were. What matters to me are the ideas, values, and experiences that a person brings with them, in whatever work they are doing. Politics, Business, Sports, or whatever.

In the case of Senator Obama, he has a Socialist background coupled with a Socialist agenda and ZERO Executive Experience or Business Experience on ANY LEVEL. Therefore I see no reason to vote for him.

The dems must be really scared to resort to a tactic that hasn’t worked for Obama since the start of his run. They’ve run out of insane rhetorical arguements and continue to ignore the fact that their unqualified, empty suited candidate is the wrong person for the job. They know it and as time goes by more of the American voters will know it.

Donkeys tossing charges of “crypto-racism” at Republicans is projection, and intended for internal consumption (i.e., for a liberal audience).

If one lib were to accuse another of racism, it’d be considered among themselves as defamation — like accusing someone of having a “loathsome disease” used to be actionable in court.

This is a strong motivator on my moonbat sister: although she’s a Hillary fan and strongly dislikes Hopenchange, she’ll vote for him nonetheless if for no other reason than to “prove” to her fellow-travelers that she’s not a racist.

Given such a mindset, it’s no wonder that libs think that the same sense of fear and dread must apply if they accuse non-liberals of being racist. Never mind that conservatives have become so accustomed to being branded with that term that not only has it lost its original meaning, it’s almost become a badge of honor.

If a liberal is calling me a racist or insinuating that I’m one, then I know I’ve won whatever we were arguing about. From that point forward, as James “The Hills Have Eyes” Carville once put it, “It’s all over but the shouting.”

    Cafferty’s quote,

“Race is arguably the biggest issue in this election, and it’s one that nobody’s talking about.

The differences between Barack Obama and John McCain couldn’t be more well-defined. Obama wants to change Washington. McCain is a part of Washington and a part of the Bush legacy. Yet the polls remain close. Doesn’t make sense…unless it’s race.

is about the dumbest pile of steaming dog crap I’ve heard in a while. “Doesn’t make sense unless it’s race”, Jack? Who exactly is making race the issue? The media, dumbass. Conservatives reject Obama because his very being is anathema to what the US represents – succeed on your own merits. Obama is nothing more than a 60’s retread marxist – fed into the system by unrepentant 60’s domestic terrorists/Marxists like Ayer, Dourne, and their despicable ilk.

The media and the lefties know that branding a person or group as “racist” closes the door to conversation. They play that card any chance they get – always have, always will. It’s their nature. When you can’t dispute facts logically and civilly … play the race card.

It would appear the only card in the lefts playbook they CAN play this election is the race card – we have effectively stripped them of the “age”, and “sexist” cards from their victims list.

Well, folks, just remember. That need to harp on his race because that’s all he has. He’s never run a city (like Sarah-cuda). He’s never run a state (like Sarah-cuda). He has a measly two years in the Senate (McCain has, like, 2 decades). He can count his worthy accomplishments on his fingers.

So race is all he has.

Did anyone read Jack Cafferty’s column today at CNN?

I did. In addition to echoing the other comments about Jack’s ridiculous missive, his thesis fails because Obama was the same level of *black* when he was way up in the polls that he is now that the polls have closed.
The difference is Palin and the breadth & depth of her appeal; THAT’s what the Dems don’t want to talk about, because she blows every feminist stereotype of successful women out of the water.

I don’t know. Illinois is bluer than blue. Even without that divorce flap it would have been tough for Jack to win there. And, as I remember it, Jeri supported his run and fought the unsealing of the divorce file. Still, it’s nice to play ‘what if’. We would have just had to endure the Hildebeast’s coronation, probably.
