I liked the difference between the way the McCain’s were treated, compared to the Obama’s. I especially liked how Barbara Walters never made eye contact with McCain, but the disdain on her face spoke for itself. Yet, she had the audacity to “pound” Obama for being sexy. OOOHHHH, she’s tough.

Do we really want them to ease up very much with their PDS? As Dick Morris said, Sarah Palin is an excellent lighting rod, diverting all the wrath and anger away from McCain. The strategy of having them fight the wrong battle goes a long way at helping the Republican ticket.

I agree we don’t want them to ease up but, to achieve the full anti-Obamessiah effect afforded by their hysterical rantings, we do need to publicize them.
I believe they are so arrogant and they feel so intellectually and morally superior that they will dismiss any complaints and continue as before. To their own detriment, of course.
The undecided voters will hear from both sides and I’m reasonably certain they will come down on ours.
Off point, but where is the Obama family going to church? He quit his church in Chicago several months ago, and I want to know who is influencing him spiritually. A president needs to have someone greater than him/herself to answer to. If for no other reason than to remind him that he is NOT God.

Oh, and “drool bucket”! ROFLMAO! Michelle, that was priceless. I am constantly amazed by the downfall of a formerly great journalist, Barbara Walters. I used to actually admire that woman. What the heck happened to her? In fact, I think that most of the “popular” mainstream journalists and news people have all of a sudden come out of the liberal closet at the same time. For some reason, they have decided it is o.k. to show their biases now. Tim Russert, God bless him, was the only left-leaning moderator on TV that I could watch with confidence he would be fair and balanced. With him gone, there is no one…except on FOX, of course.

I’ve got that PDS pretty bad. It turns out that my defenses against infection were weakened by other diseases I caught earlier:
LDS – liar derangement syndrome — It drives me crazy to hear someone who secured more per capita pork than any other governor claim to be anti pork.
ADS – abuse of power derangement syndrome — I break out in a rash whenever someone uses the power of government office to carry out a family vendetta.
IDS – ignorance derangement syndrome — I get headaches whenever a candidate for the executive of the U S of A doesn’t understand the basics of the US energy economy or US foreign policy.
In eight years of trying, we’ve never found a cure for BDS. We probably won’t do any better trying to find a cure for PDS. But as long as Dr. Malkin is willing to make the effort, we’ll keep soldiering along.

BTW don’t you love the fact that Obama “says” he wants to cut taxes to 85% of the population, down from 95%, when in fact under the bush tax policy, only 60% of the population pays taxes? This in effect means he will give 40% of the population MORE money funded by the 15%. This on top of universal health care, increased social spending, continuing the war etc etc etc. while STILL “cuting taxes for 85%”. LGM may not be able to do the math, but even if the economy remains good, there is no way this tax base could cover that much.
Your precious National Healthcare system isn’t going to fix all those derangement syndromes you suffer from, LGM. You might just have to buck up and rub some dirt on it.

lgm, someone needs to define “pork” in the budget process for you. Not all requests for funds are frivolous – many are actually put to good use as in repairing worn out bridges or other infrastructure.
And then there are those frivolous requests from a lot of the libs for studies as to how a cow feels while taking a shower or how long it takes the BS to drop to the ground while in free fall from the south end of a liberal. BTW, lgm, how long does it take?

Has it been determined that the earmarks to Alaska were pork or spending on good projects. I know that the 27 million Wasilla “received” while Palin was Mayor was only actually about 6 million. The other 21 million were actually allocated to State, County, Transportation and other departments.
I would imagine that the Palin Governorship has earmarks that are:
1) Already in place from a previous administration
2) An earmark properly spent
3) Little waste actually attributable to Palin

A couple of points that maybe fall under the “irony” category: 1. Michelle states that there is such hatred from people on the left towards people on the right yet she displays that exact same kind of hatred herself. When discussing the women on The View, she immediately resorted to name calling and her face scrunched up not being able to hide her disdain. She was doing exactly the same thing that those women do. Conservative do exactly the same things liberals do, especially people like Hannity and Limbaugh who do nothing but personally attack people who have opinions contrary to theirs. 2. Ultimate hypocrisy, one guy I think that Doocey guy, was complaining that they only had one toke liberal on the show: HELLO has he looked at his own network! Kind of reminds me of a quote (I think from Anais Nin): We don’t see things as they are, we see them as WE are.

You know, the worst part of LGM showing up is that after he posts, well over half the remaining posts on the thread are all aimed at him. This gets so tiresome.

Watching F&F in the hope that Michelle will make an appearance (by the time I see her “Where in the World” posts it’s almost always too late) is like the old days of buying an LP album, hoping that among all the crap there’d be one really good song on it: Most of the time you sadly discover that you’ve just purchased another specimen to add to the “frisbee” collection, but you luck out just often enough to keep coming back to the record store.
And even when I’m rewarded, as I was this morning, there’s still mixed feelings. On the one hand, it’s “There she is — break out the party hats and the kazoos!” On the other hand, when the segment’s over, comes the realization that it’s not yet even 6:00 AM and the rest of the day is all downhill…
I’ve been a fan of Gutfeld for quite awhile. It was good to see Michelle and Greg together. He’s a funny guy who makes good points.
