So the Obama camp can’t even keep the VP on the talking points of the day. Change, it’s all you will have left.

If more people had supported Mike Huckabee and made him our nominee, it would have happened. He was openly in favor of the fair tax.

Oh, please!!!! There is not a single instance of any candidate who can change the tax system. Ron Paul wants to fix it too. Do you really think the IRS will go away. That is a beast that is huge and devours anything in its path. It is too big to go away.

As a Delawarean, I am not surprised by his comments. He is an absolute idiot. I hope when they lose this election, the taint from this absolute fiasco follows him for the rest of his life.

Maybe someone could send Joe something akin to a box of offering envelopes like you get at your church, so he could have the opportunity to give his weekly offering to the Federal Treasury.

Next from Joe a sermon entitled, “After Tax Tithing for REAL Americans.”

har har. Does this mean that everyone who doesn’t pay income taxes but does receive the earned income credit refund isn’t patriotic? C’mon, Joe; get real.

There is no law that says you cannot pay more than the minimum amount of taxes. Biden does not pay extra taxes. Therefore, he is saying that he himself is unpatriotic.

Biden has the brain of a retarded amoeba. Karl Rove MUST have engineered his selection as the Dim’s VP.

Biden is more than welcomed to pay more in taxes if that is what makes him feel patriotic. As for me, I’d rather just hang an American flag out the door.

While Barack Obama tries to call John McCain a “liar” for saying Obama will raise taxes on a wide swath of Americans,

Obama’s plan calls for increasing taxes on a narrow “swath” of Americans, those that make more than $200,000/year. This is not the middle class by any definition of “middle”.

Comments in above posts noted, do you think all of his ambitious plans will let it stay that way? Tell you what, if you are wrong, will you pay the difference in my taxes?

America’s economic woes have nothing to do with taxes.

Economists including Alan Greenspan disagree. Our huge budget deficits depress the dollar and put Uncle Sam in competition with the private sector in borrowing.

Maybe we should control spending rather than increasing taxes.

You (insult omitted) if you think that it is a narrow swath that make over $200k/year.

Check out the chart and say that.

Where does it indicate the percentage of the total taxes paid by income category? I think that would be far more revealing to you.

Time for Joe Biden to be patriotic, he should give all his tax payer financed senatorial salary back to the government, and not accept his paycheck should he be elected as VP. Time to put your money where your mouth is Joe.

Oh how esoteric …maybe fractured mystical zin, like….to be really patriotic you must hope for and pray for higher taxes…..next In order to be really free you must surrender your freedom….to socialism …Oh My…these people are deeper than I thought….in what I won’t say
