It cannot be true, they say. The universe must joking, would not dare dump such a homophobic, Creationist evangelical nutball on us, this anti-choice, God-pandering woman who’s the inverse of Hillary, this woman of deep inexperience who abhors birth control and supports abstinence education and shoots exhausted wolves from helicopters and hates polar bears and actually stands for everything progressive women have resented since the first pope Swift-Boated Eve.

My total boycott of network TV is in its 20th year, and the new Hollywood movies is in its fifth. Life is good: the better physical condition and increased social interaction beats sitting at home and getting lost in make-believe-TV-world, hands down.

While I’m a daily visitor to MM’s site, rarely do I scan through the comments to her posts. I guess I’ll have to pay closer attention for, even past 50, one can learn something new every day.
If not for the mistressofjustice, it is likely have died happy never knowing who Hal Turner is. At a glance, I see that he lost he radio show this summer. Sounds like our free market reflected changing times. Sure, he’ll be a loud voice to his dwindling fans until his name ends up on the trash heap of history.

Trying to act above it all as if there is nothing anyone can say that wouldn’t be offensive may be cool in the circles you run in, but it’s anything but urbane. It shows a lack of class and decency.
There is no comparable amount of vitriol, hatefulness, and malice that you can adduce from the Right side even remotely close to Randi Rhodes, Whoopi Goldberg, Keith Olbermann, Margaret Cho, this washed up “comedienne”, and on and on and on. It’s all hatred dressed up as comedy or commentary and even (laughably) “journalism.”
I think I can safely say, most of us here on the Right side of the aisle and particularly those of us in uniform are completely for free speech; that doesn’t mean we can’t exercise OUR free speech in condeming the evil this woman spews. I never thought Bernhard was particularly funny nor particularly talented. She is however, bitter. But her bitterness is getting her publicity. Admit it, when was the last time you heard anything about or from Sandra? Now she’s in all the news and being discussed on conservative forums and blogs. Her mission is accomplished.
On another note, why does it seem like celebrity lesbians are so angry and bitter? With the exception of Ellen DeGeneres, we have Rosie, Sandra and Margaret Cho, all of whom are PO’d at the world.
This answered my question about lesbian bitterness. As I suspected, it is the rebellion against God that is the cause of her bitterness and anger. She hates God because He does not condone her chosen lifestyle, and loves Hillary because she does condone Sandra’s lifestyle. She hates God because her sins will be paid for, but not by Jesus unless she has a change of heart. And therefore she hates people who love God because God hates her. What she does not understand, however, is in spite of her rebellion, God still loves her and does not want her to perish. Neither do I.
Just my 2 cents.
Another thought - Jesus said the world would hate us because they hated Him first. I guess He was right (again). As I stated in an earlier post, it’s rebellion that is sinking Sandra in hatred and bitterness.

misterbee241, I agree with everything you said, except the highlighted text above. I hope that your statement was just an omission of the word “sin”, based on your next sentence correctly stating that God loves her, and we Christians should, too.
This is critical, b/c too often it is tempting to confuse the fact that God hates SIN and loves the SINNER. He can’t stand sin, no matter how “small” or insignificant we may think it is. But He loves us still. He gave His Son to die for us while we were yet sinners…not after we cleaned ourselves up enough to be presentable to Him.
