Warning: If your neighbor’s got an “Obama ‘08″ bumper sticker or lawn sign, you might want to double-check your door locks at night. The One has commanded his Purveyors of Change to go forth and proselytize to the unbelievers. And they’re not going to be knocking gently like Avon Ladies.
Barack Obama, you see, is done fixing souls. It’s time to crack heads. Prodded by panicked Democrats to take off his white gloves, he issued a Call to Strong-Arms to his legions of angry followers on Wednesday. Hope is out. Hellfire is in. Now, the same analysts who tut-tutted Sarah Palin’s mild use of sarcasm at the GOP convention are heralding — in the words of the Obama water-carriers at the Associated Press — Obama’s “feistier, more sarcastic tone” and his push for Democrat activists “to sharpen their elbows, too.”
When Republicans get aggressive, it’s “dirty.” When Obama gets aggressive, it’s “feisty.” Exorteth the One: “I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face.”
Team Obama is so committed to this “face-to-face” shock troop campaign that it is now busing activists from state to state (“Drive for Change!”) to target undecided voters – and offering subsidies to volunteers. In advance of Obama’s rally in Nevada, California field director Mary Jane Stevenson organized a pilgrimage to boost the crowd numbers with housing incentives:
“Face-to-face contact with undecided voters is the single most effective way to grow this movement. No experience is required, and we’ll help you make the trip as easily as possible with either housing in Nevada or discounted group rates at an area hotel.”
Yep, a bunch of angry Obama cultists and left-wing ACORN drifters are coming to your neighborhoods to accuse you of racism, call you unpatriotic for not bowing down and forking over more taxes to keep the Mother Ship afloat, and check your tire pressure and thermostats while they’re at it. Feel the power of positive change.
The in-your-face directive comes as Team Obama Chicago-fies its tactics by:
*Stepping up sleazy ads. The latest one twisted the words of radio talk giant Rush Limbaugh in a laughable attempt to paint John McCain as an immigration hardliner and stir fear among Hispanic voters;
*Doubling down on the race card. Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius shamelessly baited supporters with this line: “Have any of you noticed that Barack Obama is part African-American? (Republicans) are not going to go lightly into the darkness;”
*And suppressing dissent. Rebuffed by the Justice Department in their efforts to prosecute conservatives for running ads critical of Obama’s ties to Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers, the campaign is using an army of supporters to mob radio and television stations daring to air investigations of the relationship. The foot soldiers receive their marching orders through “Obama Action Wires” and bombard critics with disruptive phone calls.
Meanwhile, the Left’s Sarah Palin hatred has been encouraged by the in-your-face comments of Michelle Obama, who derided the Alaska governor’s intellect (”What you learn about Barack from his choice is that he’s not afraid of smart people”) and looks (don’t cast a vote because “she’s cute”) on the campaign trail. And Team Obama’s goons on the Internet – led by Gawker Media and the Huffington Post – are reveling in the hacking of Palin’s private e-mail account, the publication of private, family photos of her children stolen from her account, and the abuse of daughter Bristol’s cell phone number stolen from the account. For countless friends of Obama, “in your face” is code for “anything goes.”
In words and actions that would have made his mentor Saul Alinsky proud, Barack Obama is rubbing raw the sores of discontent – and summoning his unhinged flock to do the same. All hail the community-agitator-in-chief. And remember: Lock your doors.

I got a call last night from an Obama supporter. My husband is a Democrat, I am Republican, but he usually votes conservatively. His registration is more of a hold over than a position. Anyway, I didn’t know at first it was an Obamanite and after he asked for my husband, I said he wasn’t home but I would take a message.
He said he was calling on behalf of Obama and asked when would be a good time to call and speak to my husband.
I laughed and said never, this house is voting for John McCain. He said that I shouldn’t speak for my husband, and I hung up the phone.
Later, I got called for a survey. After a few questions, it was obvious that the survey was designed by a liberal, Obama supporter. At the end, the lady said she needed some info for categorical data and asked me if I shopped at Walmart. I laughed out loud at that and said, “Why don’t you just ask me if I live in a trailor?”
I’m locking my doors, and I purchased several cans of Lysol. Hippies stink; I don’t want them smelling up the yard!!!!!!!
Just wait until they lose. Riots for sure. I’m not kidding.

I am having trouble getting the right words out. After all that The Tarnished Calf has been saying over the last 18 months, with all his, “I am pure as the driven snow” and “All the Republicans are evil and mean, we Democrats are angelic in nature and would never do such evil things” which has been flying in the face of the horrible acts and statements from damn near every single Democrat/Liberal/Leftie in this country, to have him give the green light for these purveyors of violence and racism to do what they do best should be his death knell as a viable candidate.
However, instead it is being heralded as the way things should be.
How much longer before they put on their long-sleeved light brown button-up shirts and put an arm-band on the right sleeve?
I made mention yesterday that this is all very historically familiar. Here is a “man” who has designed his own logo, along with his own ‘Presidential Seal”. His past is swathed in mystery and he continues to claim to be from somewhere he isn’t and someone he is not. He is encouraging his “followers” to now “get in people’s faces” and to take a directly confrontational tone. He is taking over the media outlets, strong-arming radio stations, television stations and newspapers, forcing them to only pwint that which has been approved through his “Minister of Propaganda”. He has his people break into people’s accounts, if not directly, then by his condoning their actions by his failure to speak out against it.
There is broken glass from having the Republican owned buildings ravaged and sacked. People’s private property is being vandalized, people are being threatened and intimidated to the point where they dare not express an opposing view.
This has all happened in the past. It was all done by another “Harbinger of Change”. Another “Man of the People”.
It is sad when people ignore the past. Once again, we are being witness to what happens when people fail to learn from the past, for it always will repeat itself.
Just make sure when it happens, you all have your red “R”’s in plain view on the outer garment you wear when you walk around inside the Ghetto.
For the record, lgm’s description of what Obama said “face-to-face” is incorrect. Obama said: “want you to argue with them and get in their face.”

Like any other Obamamite or Democrat, they are incapable of independant thought. They have four or five main outlets for such propaganda that is filtered down from the Ministry and from there, it is spread out.

Some, like lgm, are not as intelligent as others and thus the reason why most of what he says is even more convoluted than usual. He has an inability to follow directions and play by the rules he is governed by.
One might even be able to argue that they are not intentionally dis-honest. It is just that they are doing what they are told to the best of their abilities and have neither the intelligence nor the wherewithal to discern right from wrong or fact from lie. They are simply waiting for their uniforms to be issued so that they will look more “official”.

this will be settled in the polling place. use their tactics. if you live in california or any other bastion of liberalism where your vote has been meaningless for years, and you have a second home in a toss up state, register and vote there. then you can always mail in a vote in washington state and wisconsin. of course i’m not encouraging anyone to break the law, but i am encouraging republicans to play by the rules written by liberals.

I’ve a lot to learn when it comes to world history, but I do try. I visited what’s left of the Dachau concentration camp outside of Munich some years ago. It’s now a museum and Holocaust memorial. What stuck me were the panels of newspaper articles from the 1930s. The newspapers were on exhibit to explain one of the strategies Hitler’s faction used to gain power. Copious and continuous negative propaganda about the Jews via the daily newspapers that regular folks picked up to read each morning. The articles named and blamed Jews for every sort of crime as well as non-Jews who were considered political enemies. That constant in-your-face propaganda allowed Germans to find the Jews at fault for their problems of the day. It also intimidated enough people to rat-out fellow countrymen.
It all reminds me of Obama’s campaign strategy, his plan/method to run the country and how complicit the MSM is. It’s all very scary.

I think that started the homosexual militant movement back then. Are we currently seeing the development or continuation of the liberal militant movement? If so, I believe it has gone beyond what is acceptable.
Is it just me, or does it seem like everything related to the Democrat Party is aggressive and militant? The Black Panthers, the “Gays have more rights than Straights” movement, Code Pink, all demonstrations against our military services, or Republican Party functions, all come to mind, but I am sure there are others.
I don’t think these groups strengthen America, but they do strengthen the resolve of the real patriots in this country.

Just wondering – do you believe that vandalizing campaign offices, slashing tires, destroying signs, stealing/hacking of private e-mails and threats of physical violence are appropriate in a campaign?
I, along with many in America are tired of the sleaze politics…I’m tired of the endless promises about making my life easier – I want to hear the candidates(not their minions/lackeys) regurgitate the same damn talking points that are put out in the morning e-mail. I’m tired of the endless lies by the MSM about conservative/Republican candidates that are based on rumor, not fact. I’m tired of candidates hiding their past in elected office or as a community organizer.
Let me tell you a story – 10 years ago, I dated an elected official where I live – a nice person, but she has some “personal issues”, that if it was brought to public light, would have her losing her elected office. She has tried running for higher office on two separate occasions, has lost both times. The people of the county made that decision – without my input on her personal life.
Now we have Obama, and to a lesser extent McCain, doing every thing from playing the race card, spearing each other and using subordinates to defame each other…hell, why not put them in a cage match at Yankee stadium, and let them fight it out, like neanderthals?
I’d like to hear more about the issues – and less of the threats and personal attacks. Until that changes, then I see each election cycle getting more about digging up dirt…and the possibility of personal harm coming to a candidate.

The sad thing is that these “shock troops” have had the Obama-Jedi mind trick played on them and they are about as easy to have a reasoned debate on the merits of an issue with as a wolverine whose been wounded. My neighbor has posted his “Republicans for Obama” yard sign. He’s no Republican. I’ve already discussed the election with him–and he’s hypnotized by the “Hopechange” buzzwords. He’s been reduced to “but Palin supported the bridge to nowhere” or “but McCain graduated at the bottom of his Academy class.”

Obama’s campaign has marked an historic point in our culture: It attracts the dregs of society in numbers never before witnessed, ranging from the most inconsequential to the most vile.

If Obama is elected president, the United States will cease to exist, ushering in the new era of Soviet America. Obama’s political philosophies are in direct contrast with everything the United States was intended to stand for.
