The fact that Congress is even considering negotiations with the dictatorial terms set forth should be proof enough of that for anyone with half a brain (or almost anyone). Apparently the real Americans I asked to put their party politics aside and stand against this are coming forward, in surprising numbers and from the most right-wing places. For that I am thankful. I had nearly lost hope that a nation divided by such extreme differences could ever pull itself together to stand up to this highway robbery and demand for dictatorial powers. I am pleasantly surprised by my fellow citizens, regardless of all the issues we agree or disagree on. Now, again I ask the following, for what reason would anyone require the powers listed in the bill? Here is the particular clause I am talking about: “Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency.“ [...]
