Looks like Joe Biden, in his interview with Katie Couric, was copying off the wrong classmate’s exam again. He said (video here):
“When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn’t just talk about the princes of greed. He said, ‘look, here’s what happened.’”
My recollection is that the stock market crash was in 1929. Two problems here: Television did not even exist in 1929, and FDR was elected in 1932, so he wasn’t even the leader at the time of the crash. When Joe was in history class, was he cheating by looking over the class dunce’s shoulder, or does he just make this stuff up? Of course, TV celebrity Katie Couric also didn’t note that Biden’s statement was doubly incorrect. Her goal was a softball puff piece.”

TV was still in developmental stage in ’29 and FDR was the first president who spoke on TV – at the opening session of the New York World’s Fair on April 30, 1939.
Biden was just a decade off, and by ’39 most americans knew what happend on Wall Street in ’29. : )

I think Obama is stuck with Biden. It’s too late to make any sort of play now and a switch would not really help him, even if it is Hillary. If they were going to make a change, it would have happened when Biden was claiming that Hillary was more qualified than him.
None of this is new with Biden, so the Obama camp should have known what they were getting. If he and Obama are going to spend the rest of the time throwing each other under the bus to explain away their missteps on the campaign, I’ll be happy to make the popcorn and watch.
I don’t think we’ll see Biden dropped for Hillary either. Bill Clinton just said the other day that Hillary did not want to be VP, and I am certain that he is correct, as it would squelch her chances to run again in 2012.
Does she really want to be associated with Obama if he loses in November? Nope. She will wait and hope for his loss so she can spend the next four years saying, “I told you so!” Then she will have the DNC on their knees in 2012.

I’d say an all out push is needed to force the media into investigating Obama. The ratings for just a one hour special on his shady Chicago connections (inc. Ayers) by itself would be through the roof. That’s if they were more interested in reporting and ratings than being cheerleaders for Obama.

If Obama loses, I bet and hope he waits at least until 2016 due to Obama fatigue. Hillary will have 2012 all to herself to show what she has. I think your side would LOVE to go against Hillary. I don’t for one second believe that she could win a general election with her baggage, and the dislike so many have for her. There is also Clinton fatigue going on IMHO, and I doubt if she could get young folks out to vote. She has been a good democratic soldier since the convention though, and I appreciate that.

It hypocritically stays on this site, accusing each and every one of us of being racist and evil.
It should be proud, for it truly is a Liberal in every sense of the word. It needs help, and it should be ignored until it gets the mental help it truly, desperately needs before it actually does hurt someone.
It is a typical condescending, self-righteous, sanctimonious bigotted hypocritical Liberal who honestly believes that it is better than everyone here, including our gracious host. It believes that it is smarter and has more world experience than anyone else, and it repeatedly attempts to demonstrate just how much better it is.
It has stated that she would truly enjoy watching any of of us die and that it would not help a person who was choking to death right in front of it.
It is very ill in it’s head and is in desperate need of help. I suggest that it has some sick need that it must have filled that includes being shown that it truly isn’t as intelligent as it feels. Daddy issues? Who knows, but it should be ignored and maybe it will finally get the help that it needs.
