Kill the bailout: More ACORN funding?! (vid link added)

Just heard from several readers that Lindsay Grahamnesty told Fox that the Mother of All Bailouts includes a reported $100 million more in funding for the left-wing housing entitlement thugs and heavily tax-subsidized fraudsters at ACORN. Under the original bailout proposal, apparently, a large portion of any repayment of the $700 billion would go to Barack Obama’s good friends at ACORN with a smaller allocation to debt repayment. Readers heard him say it was 20 percent.
Told you not to trust Hank Paulson.
And I repeat: Fiscal conservatives need to be looking out for us tonight as they try to ram this thing through with a plethora of goodies for liberal shakedown artists.
***
Update: A Freeper writes, “Senator Graham is referring to Section 5 of the Dodd counter-proposal to the Paulson Plan. To summarize, it promises a minimum 20% of the ‘profits’ from the Treasury’s sale of assets to The Housing Trust Fund and the Capital Magnet Fund.” See here.

ACORN has been organizing protests across the country while maneuvering for their next handout.
Meanwhile, the watchdog Consumer Rights League testified on the Hill this week about rampant ACORN fraud:
James Terry, Chief Public Advocate for the Consumers Rights League, today testified at a joint House Administration and House Judiciary Committee oversight hearing on “Federal, State and Local Efforts to Prepare for the General 2008 Election,” where he highlighted “corruption at every level of ACORN including embezzlement, cover-ups, misuse of taxpayer funds and voter fraud.” An excerpt of his testimony follows:
James Terry, Chief Public Advocate, Consumers Rights League:
“ACORN routinely says it will clean up its act. Yet, given its decade-long history of voter fraud, embezzlement, and misuses of taxpayer funds, ACORN’s pattern of fraud can no longer be dismissed as a series of ‘unfortunate events.’
“The problem of voter registration fraud raises serious questions for this committee, and the Consumers Rights League appreciates that the right questions are being asked.
“Here are the most important questions right now: We know about the thousands of potentially fraudulent voter registration cards turned in by ACORN and caught by officials. But given the size of ACORN’s efforts and the fact that the abuses appear to be systemic, we believe it is fair to question how many more fraudulent registrations have not been discovered, Furthermore, as this mega organization with a decades long history of violating the law is turned to get out the vote efforts, we believe it is fair to question how many fraudulent registrations may lead to fraudulent votes or what other activities they are willing to undertake to influence the election.
“These are serious questions, especially in light of recent election results which show that a just few votes can change the outcome of an election, the course of our country and the course of history.
“While we do not presume to tell this committee how to address this problem, we respectfully submit that our nation’s election system is facing a concerted campaign that raises serious issues that merit the committee’s oversight and attention.”
And fresh out of Florida this week:
Two suspicious Seminole County voter registration cards became a flash point Wednesday in the Republican effort to suggest the community group ACORN is committing fraud in its historic Florida get-out-the vote efforts.
An ACORN spokesman said the group spotted what appeared to be forged registration cards weeks ago and fired a worker over them. Seminole’s election chief, Mike Ertel, said he was still “tremendously concerned,” but stopped well short of calling the incident “fraud.” The Republican National Committee, though, levelled the accusation and blasted the housing and wage advocacy group in a nationwide conference call with reporters, saying this wasn’t an isolated incident.
In Orange County, ACORN staffers submitted multiple, duplicate registrations on behalf of six separate voters this summer. One individual had 21 duplicate applications. Election Supervisor Bill Cowles and his staff protested, noting in a June memo that ACORN had been submitting sloppy forms as well.
ACORN, or the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, changed procedures, disciplined some staffers and improved relations with Orange. ACORN has signed up 135,000 new Florida voters since January in just three counties: Orange, Broward and Miami-Dade.
That’s a fifth of all new voters. More than 58 percent are Democrats, who now outnumber Republicans by almost 500,000 voters — providing Barack Obama a potentially crucial edge in the neck-and-neck race in Florida.

Y’all are still not answering my questions. Why is that so hard?
Hurricane Katrina there was 127 billion thrown away on projects such as a 4 million dollar paving job that should have cost 8 hundred thousand.
Perhaps all this money should’ve been directly deposited in the bank accounts of the 300,000 people living in New Orleans. All divvied up, that $127 billion would come to $425,000 per person! Let them do there own clean up.
Now you want 700 Billion with a B. and were suppose to figure these guys destroying companies running away with multi million dollar I screwed up packages. Won’t be followed by the new bunch in charge. Sorry but GREED is the strong motivator. The prosecution of white collar crime is benigh.
100 milliom dollars affords a pretty good lawyer.
Make the IRS an accounting company and let them oversee the spending. Get them out of my back pocket.
MrO,
^10 keep up the good work! the hystericals around here of late need to
snap out of it. psst it was the DODDler
who demanded that and we both know obamabi is his and the swimmer’s token
I’ll stop b4 I get this post punted lolo good job if just a guess vs knowing the facts pure gut instinct is
why so many like Palin and hell yes I am one of them.
Yes.
Yes.
I guess I’m not looking for perfection here on this earth. You haven’t told a lie or sinned in your life. Please. I’m not a purist.
Sarah believes in God… therefore, she will have to answer for her own failings whatever they may be.
You haven’t provided any specifics. So, I’m not sure what you are talking about. In your previous posts #73 and #75 you attacked McCain and Palin by stating that he lacks leadership skills and she’s shallow. What else you got?
Huh?
What ever are you talking about?
I feel intimidated and depressed by the fact that they are trying to steal our government by fraud and deceit. I am intimidated and infuriated by the fact that my government is being used to pay for these THUGS. I am being coerced into supporting these tools of communism, e.g. the Democrat party, without my consent.
They are thugs, criminals, liars, cheats and Democrats. They should be made felons.
When you get proof, let us know. You can bet if it were true, the liberal tools of the media wing of the Democrat Party would be all over it (as compared to the Silky Pony coverup). Therefore, I can only assume it is false once again.
But you keep trying, sport!!!
Phil,
cute post but surely 3 years down the road you aren’t under delusion that katrina was limited to nawlins are you?

I’m not baiting 30 pieces. I am honestly baffled at how people can see McCain- Palin in action and not be completely horrified that these two could be running our country. I really want to know how someone, anyone, can cast a vote for this ticket.
They should agree to repeal the bad laws that got us into this mess. That means banks should be allowed to deny mortgages to people with bad credit, regardless of their race. That’s the cause of all of this. Go back to the standards that kept the housing market working in the past.
Unfortunately, it looks like the democrats (socialists) have forest gumped their way into a check mate. They created the problem then get to blame the problem on republicans. Either we have to fix the problem allowing them to give away houses and money or we allow a full financial collapse which will increase the demand for full-fledged socialism. It is impossible to get the news out to the majority of the people because the media won’t report it. Either we take a step toward socialism or we take a stand in a conservative alamo where the whole war is lost. Liberal policy made this problem but they’re celebrating it as a failure of capitalism. Chavez and the dems are rejoicing over this because they know republicans have no move. It’s past the time to pray.
I just got on and read your posts. I will give you my answer.
When McCain was the nominee in waiting and Hillary and Obama were fighting it out, my intention was to vote, but skip voting for President. No one there I could stomach.
When I got to understand Obama, it was so horrifying, he’s a closet communist and racist, I chose to support McCain to stop Obama. McCain was the only hope, but it was like entering the Alamo.
Sarah Palin changed everything. She was one of my two choices for VP clear back in April. Why vote FOR a VP? Two reasons; first, if McCain wins he is going to know he won, because Palin brought the conservative base, without which he loses. The Party bosses know that two. Reality check!
Second, with Palin as VP, we have a place at the table. She has conviction, courage and will represent our values on immigration, energy, etc. all the things we disagree with McCain on. We have a chip in the game.
One can vote on principle or one can vote based on “realpolitik.” I chose the latter. Those who vote on principle have my respect.

framing the debate? I didn’t notice there was a debate let alone all fancy and framed. what is it with these dims always trying to put lipstick on something? hm come to think of it bwaney fwank is in 4front now well they are consistant if nothing else
new harpo produced teevee show potential
She refuse the pork for the bridge. It had better uses. Her words were not a lie. Go back and do your own research. I’m not going to waste my time educating you when you already know the answer.
Christians vote for people who are opposed to abortion… meaning.. killing innocent children.
If you want to visit that “lie” issue, you should talk to Obama supporters. But don’t ask them about lies. They have no problem with it. Barry Hussein does it all day long.
Ayers: “some guy that lived in my neighborhood.”
LIE: His partner on the CAC Board and the guy who hosted his “Coming out” party in Chicago.
I could go on, but what’s the point? You’re not here to try to understand anything. You’re here to take swipes at Palin. A woman who is MORE qualified than Obama or Biden.. by a long way.
Trop, I’ll answer your question. I will go into a voting booth and flip the lever for McCain-Palin. That’s how I will vote for them. If the ticket were reversed, I would be even more excited about this ticket. Gov. Palin is a fiscal/social conservative and I liked the way McCain said that if any earmarks come to his desk, he will name names. Before Palin was added, I was voting against Obama, who this country can’t afford to have as president, both monitarily and security wise. Since Gov. Palin was added, I am voting FOR this ticket.
The real question is how can anyone vote for Obama/Biden?
And someone start removing posts that are in violation of the TOS.. meaning Off Topic for this thread.
The Trolls looking to spew their filth is getting tiresome.
Trop, I don’t believe that anyone here signed up to educate you nor do they owe you an explanation for why they think as they do. If you have questions, ask your government educated daughter. If all you want to do is mock, get back under the bridge.
The real question is how can anyone vote for Obama/Biden?
I’m not.
REMINDER:
for those who are calling/faxing/showing up your local tools regardless of your position.
Please be sure to say NO to pork/commielib stuffed budget type bills they haven’t passed yet and have to while this is all going on. Let the government shutdown if need be but DON’T back down.
foot on neck apply pressure
psst yes obamabi American’s can and will multitask….
Has anyone ever heard of a right-wing group shaking down the American taxpayer? ACORN, La Raza, Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, and a host of other left-wing liberal groups have shaken down the American taxpayer for untold billions over the past twenty years.
We’re in this mess due to liberal shakedowns of Washington liberal politicians and corporations. Plain and simple.
The trolls who defend these corrupt, shakedown artists are insane…plain and simple.
Paulson’s bailout proposal is all of THREE pages long (mostly bullets). It was released on Friday.
FOUR days later, on Tuesday, McCain said in an interview that he HADN’T EVEN READ IT.
The current economic crisis is supposedly the worst since the Great Depression. It’s a crisis McCain will inherit if he’s elected. Yet he didn’t make time to read Paulson’s three-page proposal. WTF.
That’s leadership?
That’s competence?
We’re supposed to believe that McCain, who couldn’t even be bothered to read THREE pages of bullets, sincerely intended to swoop down on the Capitol and save the day?
How can anyone cast their vote, a right our bravest and finest have died defending, for a man this disengaged?
I’d really like to know.
It wasn’t purtee was it?
Ha! harpo! Just got flashbacks from the color purple.

there is much Joy to be found in all of this ^10 champ
One question is, where the hell is Biden? Is he trying to protect his Beretta?
There should be no bailout. If I were to handle my budget the way these guys do, there would be no bailout. The Senate and House did not take action, the CEO’s ran rampent. We need to Throw the Old Ba$tards Out (TOBO).
“We’re in this mess due to liberal shakedowns of Washington liberal politicians and corporations. Plain and simple.”
Oh yeah, because Paulson and Bernake and the CEO’s of the failed and failing Wall Street firms are all such tax money-sucking liberals.
Is scapegoating liberals at every turn working for you?
Out of curiosity, what did Bob Barr do?
/snark
Trop, did you even read the post from Flyoverman? What he said sums it up for a lot of us. Read it before you keep on asking how we can vote the way we do.
Speaking of lipstick, why is Bush wearing so much lipstick for his TV appearances lately. He had so much make-up on the other night, including lipstick, that he looked silly. He’s never worn that much in the past.
you prove the point that if you put lipstick on a liberal wacko, its still a liberal wacko.
truth hurts doesn’t it?
I sense you are an idealist. No problem with that. However, as I wrote in a prior post, “One can vote on principle or one can vote based on ‘realpolitik.’ I chose the latter.”
The only person I know of that meets your standards got crucified over 2,000 years ago. You are dealing with the world and informed Christians know we are not part of that world.
The world has given you a Presidential menu, where the only entrees that will be actually served to you are chicken or fish. You can select one of those two, go without, or select another choice that will never get your plate.
The fish may make me ill, but the chicken can kill me. I’m ordering the fish.
Michelle… enough with this person. Either he can stay on topic of be removed.
Lipstick? Why Palin?
We’re talking about ACORN add-ons. Would a moderator remove the idiotic posts.
Jen,
bidet is having rallies with 4-5 locals and bussing in union types for camera ops and he still can’t get any facts right it is damn funny stuff.
keep the cameras rolling on all of them.
that stunt katie pulled the other night s huge and not to be “misunderestimated”.
alot of people who still go to non cable news nightly who may have still doubted the blatant bias saw first hand right in their home how katie asked Palin about great depression first and than told McCain it was Sarah’s words.
abqalan, nice to know I am not a majority of one.
I can identify with Trop. I admire idealists. But, if I had a dollar for every windmill I charged, I would be a rich man.
Flyoverman can see Palin self-combust in interviews, town halls, and still vote for the McCain-Palin ticket? That just doesn’t make sense to me. Are you SEEING her?
I had such high hopes for Gov. Palin. I had heard so many good things about her. And I was willing to disregard the ugly attacks on her from the left. I thought their “We’re going back to coat hangers” appocalypse was obsurd.
But then I saw her town meeting performance (Got Molecules?), and then her interviews, and with every one my jaw drops further to the floor. She’s simply NOT up to the task, much to my disappointment.
And McCain is SO disengaged in this current crisis that he didn’t even bother to read three pages of bullets as late as Tuesday. What is presidential about his disengagement?
Trop, I’m sure you don’t know this, but those people aren’t elected officials and they don’t make laws. They follow laws made by your “money-sucking” liberal friends, i.e., Dodd and Frank. Paulson and Bernake are trying to clean up their mess. They didn’t create it.
Dear Mr. President,
The unhinged left has called you “stupid” for years. Please don’t prove them right by being a “useful idiot” now. Wake up to what ACORN really meand and what is really going on with this bill.
ACORN:
Association of
Communist
Organizers for
Revolution
Now
You keep repeating the same things over and over. Flyoverman, was very clear in his explanation as to why must of us see the necessity to vote for McCain/Palin. It’s that is not reasonable or palatable to you, then why are you here? You claim to be seeking answers yet when they are provided you just regurgitate the same talking points from your last post. What is your deal?
Which is exactly why the restaurant never feels compelled to add anything else to the menu.
If I may jump in here, the GOP does not deserve my vote. It’s not like voting for McCain is going to make me happy. I was willing to give up on immigration, had hopes for him, but when I saw that his solution to the crisis was to suggesting creating a new department, I quickly gave up on him, too. The GOP have sold me out on every issue that is important to me.
I’d rather die a patriot than live under a socialist or quasi-fascist system, and that’s a real vote.
No, Paulson and Bernake are part of the problem, not part of the solution.
Seriously.
Milton Freidman won the Nobel Prize in Economics for showing how the Federal Reserve caused the Great Depression.
we’re already there…
Trop is pretending to be someone who was “hoping” to see good things in Gov. Palin…
But was so “disappointed.”
Folks, this is a classic tactic for online trolls. What you see here is a liberal KoSsack or one of their ilk.
They just want to change the subject of any thread they find to Palin/McCain bashing.
Ignore it. It’s probably not old enough to vote.
So this is the deal?….in the spirit of ‘Buy’ Partisanship We the democrats, who totally mismanaged the “lost” funds will totally take over the “bailout”. We will use some of this money to fund fraudulent voter registration, (allowing some democrats to vote 21 times) Republicans, your part in this is to sit down and shut up. We WILL win this election no matter how many fraudulent votes it takes. We will then enact the “fairness” doctrine. So that you will NEVER again have a voice. You mean spirited, nasty uncooperative Republicans will accept this or we will call you names and we will wreck the financial industry…..got it….time to sit down?
Voter Fraud is a Democrat Right!
Exactly. If a CEO runs a company into bankruptcy, the Board of Directors doesn’t let him draft the plan to dig back out.
I said this before and I will say it again: Bernake and Paulson are behaving just like gambling addicts. They’ve lost everything. It is time for them to go home.
Bring back HUAC!
This has George Soros written all over it. Just remind yourselves how Soros became so wealthy in the first place! I pray that McCain can do something to clean it up.
In terms of Palin, I frankly do not share your observations.
I do not agree with your “McCain” is disengaged opinion. But even if your are correct, how engaged was Obama sitting in Florida saying, call me if you need me?”
Trop, EVEN IF YOU ARE TOTALLY CORRECT, ya got chicken or fish….. Ya may not like the fish at all, but the chicken will kill you. Bon Appetite!
This is like a gaggle of bums forcing their way into your home at suppertime and then getting pissed off because you aren’t doubletime-serving them their food of choice. Enough of this outrage. I am tired of flaccid and incompetent Presidential and Congressional leadership. Americans need to rise up and fight back. Passivity will lead to ruin.
The best thing we can do is gut the Federal budget by 50% and force the bureaucrats to live with it. Defense, transportation infrastructure, debt liquidation, some social security. Nothing more… ever. The states can do the rest. We rule the country they push our brooms. Anyone who doesn’t like it can go live with their collaborator “brothers” in the soon to be European Caliphate.
My God they are going to throw money at ACORN too? I’ve heard that the bail out is going to include student loans, car loans and credit cards. This sounds like it’s time to bend over,we’re going to get it again.
Add to that:
Abortion
Welfare
Affirmative Action
Government jobs
Earmarks
Pork
Misinterpretation of the Constitution
Destruction of capitalism…
The list grows…and grows…
Admiralble, however, “He who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day.” - Francis Marion
Palin, as VP, provides hope of someday providing a menu item we can stomach; not necessaruily her, but some true conservative.
I choose to fight and keep manuevering rather than perform the classic DIP ( Die in Place) manuever.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
It’s time to clean the Communists out of our Government once and for all!
I can think of no one better to lead that effort than Sarah Palin.
It’s time to heed the advice/warning that was given to us by
the first Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court:
Anyone who calls themselves a Christian, but refuses to confess with their mouth “Jesus is Lord”, is a deceiver.
The “Kill the Bill” movement is fracturing the Republican party. Many conservatives are not appreciating the economic and political consequences of fighting this.
The Republican position right now needs to be:
1) Action is necessary because the Government is complicit in creating the mess because of Congressional pressure on lenders to give mortgages to unqualified buyers.
2) Change the term from bailout to ‘investment’. We have a chance to buy some seriously discounted assests that will appreciate if we stabalize the economy.
3) No pork or loading up the bill. No golden parachutes.
4) Tight regulation and oversight by a new committee. Don’t let Frank and Dodd oversee this.
I support the resistance to the Paulson proposal, but we have to promote a responsible and sensible alternative.
78% of the public supports Federal action here. The R’s are handing Obama the election the way the party is responding to this crisis.
Frankly I think some of the talk here is reckless.
Red State,
I think rushing something through primarily crafted by libs is a non-starter. However, I agree that a good plan today is better than a perfect plan tomorrow applies.
I had a boss who always said, if you defer a decision too long, time and circumstance will make it for you and when that happens you will not like the result.
So your point is well taken.
STOP THIS BILL.
Call, email, FAX…shout it from the mountain tops! This bill MUST be STOPPED. This is an effort by the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) to install their candidate (Obama) as the President of the United States.
This is NO JOKE. ACORN is a CPUSA front group, and now they are looking to receive BILLIONS in funding directly from our government (YOUR TAXES) to pay for their “reform” policy. The want to overthrow America’s Christian/Capitalistic society and replace it with a secularist/Socialist society that will eventually lead to all-out Communism.
Notice how NOTHING has been said about ending the irresponsible housing policies which caused this in the first place! What do you think ACORN is going to do with that money! They are a fraudulent group! They commit voter FRAUD on an almost daily basis from coast to coast….
Don’t trust the Fed! Don’t trust the Treasury and ESPECIALLY don’t trust Frank…he did this ON PURPOSE. This is EXACTLY what he mean to do! There is no “imminent economic crash” - supporters of this bill have been saying this for a week! Look at us, we’re holding together!!!
We are in real trouble! EVERYBODY NEEDS TO STAND UP NOW AGAINST THIS BILL! Long Live the USA! GOD BLESS THE USA!
This whole debacle is the biggest “chicken in every pot” maneuver that I have ever seen.
California Red,
Yes, action is needed. But the answer is less government, not more government.
Need I remind you that Ronald Reagan said:
What should be done?
Kill this Communist Revolutionary Bill, and follow the advice of Newt Gingrich, Mike Huckabee, and Ron Paul.
happy,
yes soros involved.
I always took that slogan to imply government working towards making sure the economy will be so good, YOU will be affluent enough to buy and put a “chicken in every pot” yourself, not that the government will itself provide it cost-free to you.

I suspect so, and I’m glad you’ve taken the red pill. As Morpheus said, “Welcome to the real world.”

Morpheus: Because you’ve never used them before.

The Communist Party is godless (or, more truthfully, worships Satan/Lucifer).
The Communist Party has joined forces with Islamic terrorists and both have been attacking the United States, both internally and externally, for decades.
This is spiritual warfare. Those who don’t understand it are ill-equipped to fight it.
What Should Be Done To “Workout”, not “Bailout”

The difference is cancer, LGM. Elizabeth Edwards has it, Todd Palin does not.
So whether Vice President Palin did or did not have an affair (and I don’t believe she did) has no bearing on the fact that John Edwards did have an affair that produced a child while his wife was receiving cancer treatments; with Edwards, it isn’t “just about sex.” There’s a sick wife and a child involved.
Nor does it negate the fact that Edwards is the scum bag of the century for doing such a thing to his wife and family, and deserves to be a forgotten laughing stock.
By the way, you’ve been delving in filth on here for the past two days, posting some really nasty rumors and innuendo. You really need to stop. It doesn’t elevate you or your side, and is hardly an acceptable replacement for substantive debate.
I hope MM removes it with a warning as I’m sure I’m not the only one who finds your equivocating rumor mongering rude and exceedingly offensive.
For those who think we need to pass this bill, please understand that this bill will not make things better, it will make them worse.
I repeat: passing this bill as it stands would be WORSE than doing nothing at all.
This current bill puts hundreds of billions of dollars under the control of an individual man, whose past reveals his Communist connections, and claims that no court can review his decisions. In my opinion, he would reward companies controlled by Communists, and penalize companies controlled by Capitalists. It would be impossible for the Capitalist-run companies to compete because the Government created an uneven playing field. Government is not the solution to the problem, Government is the problem.
Paulson’s plan is a bullet train to Socialism/Communism and the end of our Constitutional republic.
I stand corrected.
It is the biggest vote buying and CYA maneuver the country has ever seen.
I make no apologies for wanting to utterly and completely defeat the Ultra-Left.
They make no apologies for wanting to utterly and completely defeat the Ultra-Right.
Dimsdale,
If I may be so bold as to correct you again…
ACORN…The Roots of a Social Justice Movement
The Democratic Socialists want that ACORN to grow into a mighty OAK of Communism.
“Social Justice” = “Socialist Justice”
You have that right. Communists are the enablers of the Democrat leadership (and perhaps a few RINOS)bent on destroying our capitalistic system by any means necessary.
I’ve had the red pill and a tepid glass of water on my bed stand for awhile now. It has now become too clear for me what is going on to reject my instincts any longer. I have swallowed the pill down hard.
ITookTheRedPill - we need to get in touch. I am also interested in personally contributing to your blog, if at all possible. I cannot stand idly by as our Great Country is taken over by Communists. I will not let Democracy fall on my watch! I am a 2001 graduate of USNA - this country has given me so much. It would be negligent on my part to turn my back in this, her most grave hour of need.
The Democrat Party has been hijaked by the Communist Party USA. Too many lines can be drawn connecting all of these corrupt institutions - and ACORN is the one of the scariest of all. Imagine what they could do to our political system with $140b just to start. That’s staggering power, not to meantion it is an UNCONSTITUTIONAL transfer of taxpayer wealth to a partisal political group.
We must resist this take-over of our government. If Obama is elected this November I fear for the future safety and security of all Americans. Most importantly, I fear for the freedoms we honor today.
“To compel a man to furnish contributions of money for the propagation of opinions which he disbelieves and abhors, is sinful and tyrannical.” – Thomas Jefferson: Bill for Religious Freedom, 1779. Papers 2:545
Well, this is somewhat encouraging. I called both my democrat senators (Murray and Cantwell) and both offices seemed to indicate that neither senator was in favor of pouring profits of any sale of treasury properties into corrupt ACORN. Thank goodness! Please call your senators and tell them also to not support this ACORN travesty, either.
Can there be any question that ACORN is an organized criminal operation? I pray that some prosecutor somewhere has the balls to take them on using our organized crime statutes. ACORN needs to burn along with everyone in it. Metaphorically of course. I’d be willing to settle for incarceration in place of conflagration.
