The resistance was all for naught. How much of this boondoggle will actually go to the things that Dems promised? How much is this giveaway to prop up the layabouts and the unfortunates until the next “stimulus?”

This just stinks. I want the name of those 41 congress critters. Spread the word…. these turkeys’ lives should become more painfully complicated due to their duplicity. So much for whatever “principles” these Republicans said they lived by.

The biggest creditor is China and that’s a big part of this equation that’s not being talked about. If America was not in such deep debt, we could deal with this problem much more effectively — but China has essentially told the U.S. that we make good on all the debt that they’re holding, which is nearly a trillion dollars, or they’re going to stop lending us money. To show that they’re serious, they’ve already stopped lending us money and if we can’t borrow money every day, literally hundreds of billions of dollars, we default on the loans that are coming due.

So, if we stop the bailout and default on China we can file for bankruptcy protection with the international monetary fund?

Maybe we should pay China just enough to back them off and let Wall Street fix their own mess by chopping Corp. and capital gains taxes.

Or maybe if we default we’ll be forced to live within our means, cut social programs and every penny of unnecessary spending.

I send a hearty “bravo” to John Boehner. On behalf of the Rebublicans, he is demonstrating some real leadership in a desperate time, and exposing the transparent wacko’s on the left. Michelle—please post his contact information so we all can give him our support.

I also want to know when charges are going to be brought against Raines, Gorelick, Frank, Schumer and the other crooked idiots–these are dispicable people–we cannot forget.

By the way, how is it that Gorelick, who was largely responsible for putting up the walls that prevented information flow between the CIA and FBI and other agencies, leading to almost 3000 American deaths on 9/11, was allowed on the 9/11 commission? A bit of a conflict, don’t you think. Likewise, how are Frank, Schumer and the others, with the blood on their hands not even dry from the sub-prime debacle, permitted to be at the front and center of trying to remedy their catastrophic mess? What a complete farce, and all at the expense of the American people!
