Uhhhhh: Family doesn’t want Obama wearing troop bracelet Updated

***
Ed Morrissey wants confirmation.
ABC News is checking out the story.
Update: The Obama water-carriers at the Associated Press follow up…
After Tracy Jopek gave Sen. Barack Obama a bracelet in honor of her son who was killed in Iraq, she asked Obama not to mention the bracelet on the campaign trail.
But Jopek told The Associated Press on Sunday that she’s satisfied with how Obama discussed it during last week’s presidential debate.
Jopek gave Obama the bracelet at a Green Bay rally in February. It has the name of her son, Sgt. Ryan David Jopek, and the date the 20-year-old was killed by a roadside bomb, Aug. 2, 2006. “All gave some — He gave all,” it says.
A few days after offering it to the Illinois Democrat, Jopek, of Merrill in north-central Wisconsin, had a change of heart. She realized it could be interpreted as a protest against the war, a statement that made her uncomfortable because other military families who suffered losses still supported the conflict.
“I am a mother, a mother who lost her son. It’s hard to know what’s right, what’s wrong about this war. Very hard,” she said. “And I know there are a lot of families who lost loved ones.”
So she e-mailed the Obama campaign through its Web site asking that he not mention it during debates or speeches.
She never got a reply but said she didn’t hear of him mentioning it after that — until Friday, when Obama and Republican Sen. John McCain appeared in their first debate. In response to a question about Iraq, McCain said a New Hampshire woman asked him to wear a bracelet honoring her fallen son, and asked him to make sure the Iraq mission succeeded so his death would not be in vain.
More:
Obama’s comment sparked a number of angry comments from bloggers who suggested Obama was exploiting her son’s death to score political points. Jopek said those bloggers might have heard comments that her son’s father made on Wisconsin Public Radio on March 20.
In an interview with Glen Moberg, National Guard Staff Sgt. Brian Jopek said his ex-wife asked Obama not to wear the bracelet at any further public appearances. But Obama was still apparently wearing it, he said.
“So, that’s his own choice. I mean that’s something Barack Obama, that’s a choice that he continues to wear it despite Tracy asking him not to,” he told Moberg.
Tracy Jopek said she didn’t hear the interview but that her ex-husband, who is currently stationed in Cuba, mischaracterized her viewpoint. An e-mail message sent to Brian Jopek through his daughter on Sunday was not immediately returned.
“I think he knew my intention, he understands it was a gesture between me and Sen. Obama,” she said. “It was just little piece of peace for us. I don’t understand how people can take that and turn it into some garbage on the Internet.”
She wouldn’t directly say whether she wanted Obama to refrain from mentioning the bracelet again, but she hopes the whole issue will just go away.
“I think these bracelets should be looked upon as an honor that both candidates wear them to respect the troops,” she said. “My request to both of them is that they honor the troops by lifting the conversation to the issues, and that they continue to live up to the standards our military deserves.”

Callous, calculating, sociopathic jerk.
Not all too surprising that Obama would ignore the request to stop wearing the bracelet. It must be the only one he has been given. Also not surprising that he wouldn’t bother remembering just whose name is on the bracelet. Pure arrogance. And really, the whole comparing bracelets in a debate was, to me anyway, more than a little childish.
The Great Pretender
This makes sense. I remember wondering why McCain didn’t jump on him for saying (paraphrasing) “I was given this bracelet to remember to make sure no more deaths lkie this happen”. I was wishing McCain would have said something like “Good luck with that. Maybe it should have been given to a jihadi”. Now that I think about it, maybe that’s why they gave it to Obama.
Lies like this will lead to McCain’s win, even BHO campaign predicts it !
Yes, it does.
I have the picture in my mind when obummer sipped from his cup during the debate. Any one but me notice the hate-filled look on his eyes? He is the contempt personified.
Obama: “This is not the Jopek family I once knew.”
Mrs. Jopek has an excellent point, the gift of the bracelt was a personal act of understanding and momentous sentiment between her and Obama; it was not meant to be interpreted as public statement on the war or a pseudo-endorsement for Obama’s candidacy.
BHO should be ashamed of himself for abusing the Jopek family’s trust and for using their loss to further his own political one-upmanship! This is indeed a revelation of Obama’s bankrupt character and displays his ready willingness to violate the trust of ordinary citizens. How could we possibly trust this man with the presidency?
Support President McCain and VP Palin – it’s urgent!
Character counts, but not as in “what a character”, which is where Sen. Obama always finds himself to be; It is what he is and always will be, a bad actor on the political stage; How any logical, rational, clear thinking person can continue to support this man is quite the mystery; Hopefully enough people will “get it” by 11/04.
I read Ed Morrissey’s reason for waiting on confirmation and I agree. Even though it sounds like something that Obambi would do, I don’t want Obambi sand bagging on the issue. If it it turns out that he was asked to stop wearing it and is using it for a campaign issue it will not look good for him.
Obama puts Dukakis to shame but the MSM still props Obama up like the Sun King. Pathetic; it’s a sad time for America is Obama gets elected.
We can wait for confirmation, of course, but when he echoed McCain with his “I have a bracelet too” idiocy I seriously burst out laughing at how juvenile and petty BO is. The great pretender can’t even pretend to be a grown up. So either way, he looks bad, but if the family confirms the request as their current feelings, he just looks that much worse.
Very telling story… Especially coming from the FATHER and MOTHER… When do you figure this will be picked up by the MSM??? Wait, wait is that crickets I hear???
I’ve read of this ‘battle of the wristbands’ back as far as February. What I think upsets Sergeant Jopek’s family most of all is Mrs Jopek’s feelings have been misrepresented by the media.
Yes, she was against his going to war. But, unlike a famous anitwar mother, she greatly respects her son and knows it was his decison to serve.
She does not now and may never agree with the decision to invade Iraq yet honors her son as a hero who gave all for what he believed.
These are trivial matters – the moneyed organizations and special interest groups supporting HIM are of such power that even if he was found to be not a US citizen and convicted of crimes in his past, he IS going to be elected. Nothing can stop it.
McCain & Palin should hit back hard without this pretense of senatorial politeness so that at least the people will elect GOP in the Congress.
Well….screw them….OBama needs the thing, who ever is on it, it is a necessary prop. he will take it out of his box and wear it, like the flag pin, when ever he needs. And like the flag pin he won’t wear it often and after the election, which ever way it goes it goes in the trash, with the flag pin.
PUKE!!!!!!
By the way, that was SGT Jopek’s second Iraq tour.
It is not trivial in that it shows his complete contempt for the little guy, who he considers nothing but tools to get what he wants: to be the first affirmative action, I mean, “African American,” president.
Of course, the mom believed that Duh-One was the ‘new’ politician that he first sold himself as, now she finds out that he is just like all the others. Obamitler, Duh-one, is a con man from the Chicago Polticial Machine. Is he a sociopath or a psychopath?
What did this woman really think he was going to do with this great prop? Actors on a stage need a great prop, she gave Duh-one his political prop for his one issue “out of Iraq now”. Was she that stupid to think he wasn’t going to use it?
Now that she has asked him to stop, he hasn’t because you know it is his now and he can do whatever he wants. You little peasant be damned.
This is a common trait of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. They never grow up, its always about them, they can and will say anything, are pathological liars, lack empathy, are very manipulative, and on and on.
THE ONE is truly a sick human being.
Don’t expect the NYT to pick this up, they’re too busy doing their “Hit Piece A Day on McCain” campaign (bought and paid for by the Obama campaign)
Today’s hit piece?
For McCain and Team, a Host of Ties to Gambling
Obambi sees the little guys in the military as “useful idiots.”
This is so low that I can’t even can’t find any sarcastic humor… I can’t decide weather to call it shameful or disgraceful. I guess I will have to go with sad, so very sad.
Forgive me (or not) for quoting me about the lying, liberal media. On October 30, 2007, I wrote the following:
If I haven’t bored you yet, here is the rest.
Senator McCain is probably smart to not get down in the weeds in the ‘battle of wristbands’ yet real journalists should research and mention Sergeant Jopek’s support for the mission in Iraq. McCain can rightly say we needed more troops and to change strategy. Yet he should also say that because of the current administration’s perseverance, General Petraeus’ surge strategy, and the continuing brave service and sacrifice of our military, SGT Jopek did not die in vain for a cause he himself believed in.
Obama puts Dukakis to shame but the MSM still props Obama up like the Sun King. Pathetic; it’s a sad time for America if Obama gets elected.
If Obama gets elected we can look forward to the radicalization of our school and university systems as well. New information has been released about the Ayers/ Obama relationship.
Blog topic suggestion: Kathleen Parker’s assessment of Sarah Palin.
And Obama did such a smashing job remembering Jopek’s name. The first thing I thought of was there goes the military vote for Obama. His pandering is pathetic!
It seems the scope of Braceletgate grows even wider.
I wish that were something we could rely upon, Anita, but unfortunately, it seems that nobody but Michelle Malkin is talking about this (thank God for Michelle!). Until McCain and his surrogates start calling out these lies, which I frankly don’t see happening, unfortunately, nobody but we will even know about it.
I watched Lindsay Graham shame the McCain campaign this a.m. on Fox News Sunday, by his letting John F’ing Kerry roll over him on every single topic. Kerry told more lies than I’ve ever heard anyone spew in a single sitting, and Graham just sat there, sleepy-eyed with a smirk on his face and even admitted…ADMITTED…that he (Graham himself, talking here) is part of the problem with earmarks in Washington.
Some earmarks are good; some are not. The problem is not explained in the term, “earmarks”. It’s explained in wasteful and crooked spending to benefit special interest groups and lobbyist’s interests, all to garner votes. The answer is that McCain has not taken any earmarks for his district, and that Obama is a thug.
We’re in trouble. Graham’s gotta be replaced as the McCain campaign spokesman, IMHO.
http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/09/bracelet-wars.html
Whether or not the family wanted him wearing the bracelet, using it for political expediency, etc; the fact still remains he doesn’t know the man’s name. He couldn’t bother to learn it. Rank and last name would have sufficed. The military means nothing to him, and the sacrifice of heroes means even less. The only thing that means anything to him is his ego.
b-cat, true dat.
Feeble attempt by a BO suck-up to divert attention from the fact that BO couldn’t even remember the name on the bracelet he was wearing.
Suggestion: BO should get one for “John Smith”. That’s a name that even he might be able to commit to memeory.
This bailout reminds me of an old song.
By, by there goes the Americans PIE!
tra-la-la suckers!
(Going off topic here) Thanks, tonyr951, for your link to the Platters doing “The Great Pretender”. I am not aware of having heard the group before. Good singing and voices. I wish we had more nowadays.
This isn’t the family of a hero that he knew, obviously. Under the bus please.
Why doesn’t he send some lawyers up there to remind them that he is the One and it is illegal to question him?
Okay, what an a$$hat. I even thought when BO said, I have a wristband too, and tried to name the soldier, that he should have said, I have a wristband too and I am not going to politicize this hero by naming him….It bothers me that I really feel like I would be more qualified in debates than this guy. Yikes.
Kathleen Parker is a conservative. I doubt very seriously she’s rooting for Obama. I think she’s just underestimating Palin. She wouldn’t be the first person to make that mistake. And I believe her criticism of Palin came before the debate.
After following BOH and his talking points for nearly a YEAR-I have found that he and the Ds have a problem with the TRUTH….thus….Why would Ed Morrissey state.. and I present the quote from Morrissey:
“Obama’s use of the bracelet was obviously planned, and I’d have a hard time believing that no one would have thought to check with the Jopeks first.”
PLEASE!!!! No more coddling the BHOs-Nancy Ps and et.al..
Obummer will do and say anything for political opportunity. He is a politician after all. He doesn’t really get the military unless he can exploit them and get a leg up in the debate.
The looming presence of The One grows more alarming day after day. Obummer reminds me of the president of the Congo who uses his father (a murdered leader) as a selling point for his presidency. In essence, he is nothing but a dictator who has created a cult of personality around him while he lets corruption run rampant and pretends that the Chinese haven’t enslaved his fellow Congolese.
Unfortunately, McCain is just as inept. McCain has not run a smart campaign and has chosen to not challenge Obummer on his ignorance or hubris. I fear that soon America will become another Banana Republic where corruption, greed, and exploitation are common catch words for what is happening to countries like the Congo.
I can’t imagine anyone in the military voting for this poser.
The New York Times would have gone crazy had Sarah Palin not known the name of the fallen soldier on the bracelet she was wearing and if Sarah Palin had mentioned the fallen soldier’s name against the wishes of the solider’s father. But since it is Barack Obama, the NY Times is silent. Today the Times is pelting McCain for supposed ties to gambling lobbyists. Yet there is not one word about Obama’s financial ties to trial lawyers and his ties to Jim Johnson, the Fannie Mae chief who ran the company into the ground.
Anyone just see that Obama supporter on FOX just now saying McCain and the US were the “Bad Guys” in the Vietnam war because McCain was killing innocent people by dropping bombs on them!!
Oh and he did this while holding up and waving a bracelet
I’ve been wearing MIA bracelets since the early 80’s, and, have been proud to return 2 of them, now that some of the heroes remains have been found in Viet-Nam. Bracelets were returned to family members. I still remember the names of those two, plus the current ones I wear. One for Capt. Clarence Hemmill, MIA 21 Oct, 67 & Lt Cmdr Michael Scott Speicher MIA 17 Jan, 91.
I see those names EVERY day, unlike Barack NoBama, who can’t even remember the name on his bracelet!
Back during the Democrat Party primaries, Obama used Sergeant Jopek’s wristband to continue to bash his primary opponent’s decision (Hillary Clinton’s) vote for the invasion of Iraq. But note how his rhetoric changed as soon as he had the nomination sewed up. This is what he said of SGT Jopek on Memorial Day 2008:
That is what Obama should be shamed for now, his using the wristband of a fallen soldier who died fighting for a cause he believed in to denigrate his opponent now for supporting that same cause.
Obama will never know the meaning of the word honor.
As I said on another thread, I ‘m sure Sgt. Jopek’s mother regrets giving Obama that bracelet.
Only slightly OT, The News & Observer, Raleigh, NC ran a Palin hit piece in of all places the Life section (books, movies, culinary, travel). The MSM never misses an opportunity to beat the drum.
That is why I am not a subscriber; I just do the crossword whenever someone leaves one at the coffee shop. Although soon I will see: 25 across: Americas last hope: Five letters, starts with O, ends in A.
Hey, I’m no Obama fan, but this is six month old hearsay from a non-Obama supporting ex-husband. Perhaps someone should check with the mother before we condemn the slimy politician. I’m with Mr. Morrissey on this one. If the campaign cleared it with her, then it isn’t much different than McCain’s use of Matthew Stanley’s hero bracelet.
I wish both of them would stop using the fallen in attempts to create some sort of emotional resonance with their campaigns.
The “feeble attempt / BO suck-up” was not in reference to Kathleen Parker. It was directed to imjustsaying for the stupid suggestion as a way to cover for the obvious embarrassment at BO’s gaffe of having to look at the bracelet before mentioning the name.
I know exactly who Parker is.
On September 28th, 2008 at 12:01 pm, imjustsaying said:
Excuse me, but haven’t you ever heard of the political version of lowered expectations? Parker is setting the bar low so that should Vice President Palin turn in a less than stellar performance in the debate (like that’s gonna happen with history prof Biden), it will still be better than expected.
It doesn’t matter though, because Sarah Palin will be Vice President come this November, due in part to Obama’s actions, like with the bracelet!
Thanks for the correction. I knew the Parker mention was OT; I didn’t see any particular motive behind it.
Even the dead are enslaved to him, and his lies.
Hunc tu caveto!
I can’t even believe you all are wasting time discussing this topic. Anyway, not surprised no one here is referencing the latest on this story:
MILWAUKEE – The mother of a Wisconsin soldier who died in Iraq says she was “ecstatic” during Friday’s debate when Senator Barack Obama mentioned the bracelet she gave him in honor of her son.
Tracy Jopek of Merrill told The Associated Press on Sunday she was honored that he remembered Sgt. Ryan David Jopek, who was killed in 2006 by a roadside bomb.
She criticized Internet reports that suggested Obama exploited her son for political purposes.
She acknowledges e-mailing the campaign in February asking that Obama not mention her son in speeches or debates. But she says Obama’s mention on Friday was appropriate because he was responding after Senator John McCain said a soldier’s mother gave him a bracelet.
Jopek says Obama’s comment rightfully suggested there’s more than one viewpoint on the war.
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/chi-ap-wi-obama-bracelet,0,6413408.story
Are you serious? Parker called for Palin to STEP DOWN! That’s your idea of lowering expectations?
sadly, the mother of Ryan David is an Obama kool-aid drinking disciple who can’t see that Obama is using her son for political purposes–scarier still is that the Obama Zombies are growing it seems. I keep waiting to become one myself.

Hang in there, zombywolf.
I seriously doubt that his nut-job base could care less what their guy does. He passes daisies out his arse. They’ll vote for anything that resembles themselves.
Yes – it is, by going nuclear on Vice President Palin, Parker has set the rubric by which VP Palin’s performance will be judged so low that viewers/voters will be blown away just by her being present on stage, let alone the crushing defeat she will deliver to History Prof. Joe!
BTW, the recent doubts about President McCain and VP Palin are only the result of the Wall Street-Fannie&Freddie meltdown, and will disappear completely once the bailout passes and takes it out of the headlines, along with all of the One’s recent gains.
It’s pretty sad that the Mother would allow the bracelet’s use as a mere prop by a man who represents the possibility of nullifying her son’s sacrifice, along with that of the other fallen soldiers and their families, by destroying our victory with his foolish plan for Iraq. I wonder what the Father has to say about it?
Oops! Just now read the ABC News link, and Tapper reports the Dad leans towards McCain and does not share his ex-wife’s views of Iraq; also, though the Mother is happy her son’s name was mentioned on air in the debate, she does not deny asking the Obama camp to stop referring to him.
I think it’s possible that’s precisely what Parker was attempting – or, at least, I wouldn’t put it past a right wing columnist to try something like that – but just the thought of Palin delivering a “crushing defeat” to anyone in a debate is almost too funny to contemplate…
Perhaps you haven’t SEEN the Katie Couric “interviews”? Palin’s lost answering softball questions one-on-one with the least aggressive news personality in the business. And she’s somehow magically going to “crush” Biden in a true debate? At this point, I’d be surprised to discover that Sarah Palin could SPELL “debate” on the first try. She’s a sputtering, dumbstruck moron who wasn’t even smart enough to say “Thanks but no thanks” when the McSame campaign approached her out of desperation. The debate is destined to be a trainwreck of epic proportions and I predict serious consequences for you guys the day after…
The best was the SNL skit that used Palin’s EXACT FREAKING “ANSWERS” as the punchline.
No need to mess with the comedic gold that is the Palin Veep run.
Michelle needs to issue a correction to this story. Another poster has already pointed to the latest news that the mother was “ecstatic” that Obama mentioned her son. Here’s the story from a local Wisconsin TV station.
MILWAUKEE – The mother of a Wisconsin soldier who died in Iraq says she was “ecstatic” during Friday’s debate when Senator Barack Obama mentioned the bracelet she gave him in honor of her son.
“I was ecstatic when my candidate looked down and read my son’s name off of the bracelet I gave him. It did not even bother me that he “uhhhed” before having to look. Or that he could not have bothered to memorize it before going on stage.”
R U Kidding me?
Obama attempts to use dead heroes for political gain and his trolls come with diversions about Palin or misleading quotes from heroes momma.
How’s that? I think I’ve got it right.
Aha! So I was right! I remember looking at my wife when Obama stumbled over the name of the soldier. And she was aloof, this guy doesn’t remember this fellows name. I told her, I’m not sure I’d be too hard him, he probably had been told not to use the soldier’s name, but that the problem was it looks like Obama saying “Me too!” Looks like I was right.
If she’s finished, why all the vitriol? Add Vice President to your lexicon of adjectives to describe Sarah Palin, because she will be VP come November – count on it!
Ah, yes – the smear VP Palin campaign continues.
First off, very few of us – us as in ordinary people, not trained liars/lawyers (no offense) like Obama and Biden – do not perform well at pulic speaking, in general, presenting our own views let alone experiencing the added pressure of appearing on national tv representing someone else’s views and positions against a cynical proctor from the MSM.
In my opinion VP Palin did fine, considering she has only ever spoken to the Alaskan media and is still being brought up to speed on the national playing field. Also, when “1929 Joe” is putting out comedy gold with his “Roosevelt’s televison address,” your side is hardly in any position to throw stones at VP Palin. In short, glass houses my friend, glass houses!
So, if one parent doesn’t mind exploiting a son’s name for political gain, and the other parent doesn’t want the son’s name exploited, who does Obama respect?
The obvious answer is the one that does the least harm to both grieving parents – Not to exploit the fallen hero’s name.
Obama’s answer? The one that gives him a better position at the polls.
I would agree with this and say that very few of us cross that minimum threshold to be a veep candidate.
Should a veep candidate really need to be brought up to speed on national issues? What is really sad is that she is most likely not nearly as stupid as she is coming off. Just unprepared. But if/when McCain loses, she is damaged goods and the GOP just blew one of its young stars.
I think there is a real difference between embarrassing gaffes (I mean come on, Roosevelt is inextricably linked with the Great Depression, which was precipitated by the crash, so it was just a stupid error from speaking too quickly. If you put Biden on Jeopardy and asked him who was Pres. during the crash, I’ll bet you anything he knows) and embarrassing lack of knowledge of the issues.
I guess she’s not kidding. Obama seems to “uhhhed” before any question, so how can this one be different? See the problem with everyone pouncing on this story, is that there is always two sides to a story. The first side, the EX-HUSBAND, who is an obvious McCain supporter, is going to trash Obama for saying his sons name and of course all the right wingers pounce on the story, whereas the WIFE – WHO GAVE BARACK THE BRACELET OBVIOUSLY SUPPORTS OBAMA, so of course she’s got his back when he mentions her son’s name and of course all the lefties pounce on that. Give it a rest – it is an honor to have your son’s name mentioned by a presidential hopeful, it is a dishonor to have this type of tasteless postings about it.
Thank you for making my point FOR me. She is completely and utterly unprepared for the position she’s campaigning for. She’s “being brought up to speed” – very, very slowly, it certainly appears, and in full on media glare. I feel for her, I really do… but there’s no circumstance under which you can argue she’d be a better Vice President than a US Senator with over twenty years of experience, no matter how many times he trips over his own tongue when speaking off the cuff. I had planned to consider McCain for my vote if Senator Clinton had won the Democratic nomination and thank Jeebus she didn’t, because the John McCain who selected Sarah Palin should be kept as far from national office as possible.
The left has the corner of the market on tasteless, I could not even get close to how tasteless the Left is. If you see my earlier post, you would get the whole gyst of what I am saying. The father did not “trash” Obama. Quite the contrary. As goes for most of the people out there who are more conservative, he gave what he knew on the story and was professional about it. The left would have shown how crass they can truly be. If this had been McCain, the media would have more than trashed him. Lefties are so short-sighted, I am starting to feel embarassed for them. How about the MO Gestapo BHO has set up, how do you feel about that gem?
By that standard our best presidents would not have been qualified to hold office – including Washington and Lincoln.
No.
Womenfeminists will have lost for themselves their first and best chance of ever having the opportunity to put a member of their sex in the WH, during their lifetimes. VP Palin will win – I have no doubts about that – but in the far off chance she should not, feminists will not see a woman in the WH for at least another seventy-five to one hundred years, and will have only themselves to blame: their acceptibility standards for support are too different from those of mainstream Americans.Voters are leary of the new in times of trouble, and if a woman is to make it to the presidency, she has to be someone to whom the majority can relate; it will be quite some time before a majority of voters will support a female candidate for VP/P, who is also a pro-abortion member of N.O.W.
Only if he sees the answers ahead of time, or Mr. Kinnock plays first.
Anyway, VP Palin’s only lacking is that she is the VP of a maverick – an independent thinker who is unpredictable and never follows his party’s position on issues – and is having a sorta difficult time enumerating positions today that she is unsure President McCain will support tomorrow.
When it comes to Vice President Palin, in the words of a small-minded writer – she’s pretty enough, she’s smart enough, and doggone it – people like her! She is the next Vice President.
Biden is proveably dishonest. If you feel comfortable supporting a man no one should trust, who always gets things wrong, obfuscates even when it’s not necessary and never gives a straight answer to the most innocuous questions, then there is nothing I can say.
but there’s no circumstance under which you can argue
she’dHE’d be a betterVicePresident than a US Senator with overtwentythirty years of experience, no matter how many timesheHE trips over his own tongue when speaking off the cuff.Fixed it for ya…
Good one!
How come this mother hates America & wants the terrorists to win?
That’s a great question. Why don’t you answer it for us.
McCain’s name used to BE ON A BRACLET! Remember the POW/MIA bracelets from the 70’s? I do. Obama has a lot of gaul.
I wore Cdr Robert Naughton’s. The day he got home andwalked off the plane, I snapped in two. I still have it.
thats a stupid question. What does having a mother be ecstatic about a nominee wearing a soldiers bracelet during a debate have anything to do with this mother hating America & wanting the terrorists to win? Or are you just trying to equate Obama as an american hating terrorist lover? What was the point of that ridiculous posting other than to show ignorance? With talking points like that you’ll never win an argument !!!
