“ABORT” Sarah Palin
Reader Mike in Seattle sends the latest manifestation of Palin Derangement Syndrome: Abort Palin street graffiti.
He writes:

I live in Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood, just north of the Woodland Park Zoo. Below is a sprayed-on stencil graffiti I discovered at Greenwood Ave. N and N. 71st Street. Ironic that a mother who wouldn’t abort her disabled child is attacked next to the curve cutout to be used by people in wheelchairs. I haven’t seen any others in the neighborhood, although it’s likely there are some. Since Greenwood is considered a “nice” middle-class neighborhood, this hints of the hatred Palin has stirred up.
Don’t ask me why her lipstick is green. Maybe whoever did it didn’t have red paint…

Sounds like an abortive attempt at clever political discourse.
It’s hard to get riled up about bathroom graffiti when faced with a complete collectivist-socialist takeover of the entire country and the enslavement of the last bastion of freedom.
Sort of like getting upset at someone for littering in the garbage dump.

The Left is about hate, always has been always will be. There is no pleasing them, no appeasing them. We should pay them no mind.
Unfortunately, some self-panicking conservatives, e.g. Kathleen Parker and sadly Debbie Schlussel among them, are also beating a nasty dump Palin drumbeat. That’s their right, but I think most of us at MM.com are with the free Sarah Palin crowd. Why McCain decided that subjecting her to the MSM was a good idea, I’ll never know. She belongs to us, not to them. You would think by now he would understand the MSM are not our friends.
All that being said, the Couric interviews have hurt and Sarah needs to hit Biden hard this debate. My understanding is that he is going to ignore her to show how above it all he is. It’s a risky move that could leave him wide open for some devastating attacks. Sarah could mop the floor with him, if McCain will let her.

Um, in case you hadn’t noticed, I devoted the entire day to wall-to-wall coverage of the bailout debate, and I’ve spent the past year opposing every last bailout measure. I like to blog about other things, too. If they don’t interest you, don’t click.
If you get too close to someone with PDS, can you catch it? One of my ohhhhhhh so tolerant neighbors has nothing but filth to say about M/P2008. Do I need a shot if they touched me?

I live an hour south of that area and it’s just pretty typical of Seattle.Seattle is liberalsville with a capital L.This same zoo area has a counter in the zoo telling us how much we are overcrowding the world,and you don’t dare have a conservative bumper sticker or anything on your car or it will get keyed.

I recall back around Christmas time when someone complained because Michelle had a thread going about favorite recipes. Michelle’s reply was memorable. “Life is about more than just politics. So is this blog.”
We can always count on Michelle for her astute and incisive political analysis. But she has always been good about allowing us our OT sports comments, and giving us the occasional open thread to discuss anything we like. I wouldn’t ask her to change a thing.

Off subject,but I was just strolling through the Obama’s truth squad thread and noticed some twit a.k.a. “tettes” made the comment about the I.Q. was averaging 50 points higher at daily kos. He also used an abc news blog (Jake Tapper) to make his point which lowered his own I.Q, (like anyone here would believe anything that had to do with abc, nbc, cbs, cnn, et al). But it reminded me of the abc reporter getting arrested at the dnc. Does anyone know how that played out? Were charges dropped after they found out it was not a Fox News reporter? I have not heard anything about it and have not been able to find anything on the internet either. A little help if anyone can spare it. Thanks.

Keep on reporting whatever you see fit, Michelle. Those who come to this site have a choice to read, to respond, or to move on to another topic. You always have several available. Remember that the majority of us who come here are huge fans of yours. Kind of like political kinfolk. We may not always agree on every topic, but do have our country’s best interests at heart. Heck, we even have the inbred cousins who drop in from time to time. Folks like lgm, mookie and chappie. They may be mentally challenged, but they are ours.

Also saw Ashley Judd — who I once liked — take a dirty shot at Sarah on an O’Reilly clip last night. She dragged Sarah onto her (Judd’s) abortion altar. That’s the new line, if you haven’t heard: Sarah will wreck your privacy to kill your baby. Funny, Judd doesn’t look that VAPID, but as we see from Ms. Couric, looks can be deceiving.

Isn’t ABORT an interesting choice of words? Doesn’t its use by the looney left admit to the notion that abortion IS murder of a human being? After all, it doesn’t say “abort her candidacy” or “abort her mission”… but abort HER, the PERSON.

The abort graffiti is crass to be sure. However, that does not obviate the fact that Palin is the worse choice for VP McCain could have made. She clearly is out of her league as evidenced by her nonsense answers to intelligent questions such as those put to her by Couric.
I’m sure this “artist” will be receiving a NEA grant any day now…
We can only hope. She has set herself up as some sort of a god, expecting (and receiving) worship from her followers. It’s sickening to observe.
