We pulled into Djibouti two days late for Scott. Wish I could have seen him perform. Listened to Creed while doing missions over Afghanistan and again during the charge through Iraq. Brings back serious thoughts of some exciting times. Now as a retiree still working with the military. Thanks goes out to the performers that come out for the troops. Right before hitting Iraq we saw Three Doors Down in Bahrain. Then after Robin Williams came.

Not too big of a fan of Creed, as music goes, but as an active duty sailor, I appreciate the effort in coming all the way out to do a concert. I wouldn’t have gone to watch, had I been onboard, as I prefer to go to sleep after work. Makes the deployment go by quicker…

Michelle: His support extends even more. He played Friday night here in Djibouti (the forgetten land of the deployed). After the show, he and the band stayed for almost two hours personally signing CDs they handed out to all. Total class act – and nice to be remembered.

Good to see Scott keeping it together and being involved in something larger than himself. He is an amazing talent. Creed made some good music in their day.

Always liked their music. Went to see them/him perform as Creed a several years back. Glad he was able to do that. Amazing voice. I hope he keeps it together and it would interesting if he and Mark Tremonti found some common ground and worked together again.

I can’t hold it against him too much. I think I’d be driven to drink if I had to associate with those people on those awards shows…

Don’t recognize the name of the singer or the band. However, if there is an opportunity to do something for our military that will lift their spirits and/or morale I’m for it.
