On Friday, I pointed you to Missouri-based blogger Jim Hoft’s overview of how “St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch and St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, both Obama supporters, are threatening to bring criminal libel charges against anyone who levels what turns out to be false criticisms of their chosen candidate for President.”
Over the weekend, Missouri Gov. Matt Blunt blasted the Obama campaign’s abusive use of Missouri law enforcement.
Jim has a follow-up this morning on one of the Missouri Obama Goons who is now playing the victim card in the wake of the backlash.

if ms joyce prosecuted voter fraud in the city of st louis just once, we might believe she is not just a left wing hack. st louis city has one of the highest crime rates in the country, and it’s voting is a continuous joke (2000 & 2004 were both so fraudulent the state had to pass a new law to require photo id’s to at least slow down the dead voter pool. it has just shifted from dead voters to live voters voting absentee and voting at the ballot. the chances of more people voting in the city of st louis than actually live there is huge. acorn has signed up the mentally ill in every nursing home, the prisoners in our jails and prisons, and illegal immigrants at every home depot in the are, but of course ms joyce can’t be bothered to prosecute real crime. she has to dispel truth like the swiftboaters put out about kerry, because of course barack’s mom said he was muslim when she put him in school in indonesia, his father said he was muslim to his other family, and his half family said he is muslim, but he now says he is christian because his wife is christian and dragged him to her racist church.

It is good to know that some sheriffs and prosecutors in Missouri have appointed themselves the arbiter of “truth.” The good citizens of Missouri can sleep peacefully knowing that the government is protecting “truth” in the same way it is protecting their tax dollars in Washington, DC.
How come no one is asking if it is legal for employees of the state of Missouri and its counties, to be so blatantly in the bag for, and working for, one candidate? Are we supposed to believe that all of these people’s efforts are undertaken on their own time? One was from McCain’s efforts in Jan 2008 to protect himself during the primaries and plainly states that the goal is to inform the voters of truth in opposition to negative attack ads. The Palin ‘truth’ group is composed of people from different states to expose the negative, and for the most part untrue, attcks on her and her character. Notice no law enforcement officals to intimidate anyone.

The ‘truth squad’ in Missouri is looking for lawsuits to file to suppress free speech. That was a stated intention of the group. Prosecutors and sherriffs could conceivably intimidate people into silence.

I was just taking into consideration of how much the left pushes stem-cell research. If they took the cells from our butts and injected into the average liberal’s brain, it would probably increase their collective IQ’s by 15-20 points.
