So when do the add campaign gloves come off and we start hammering Obama on this stuff? He’s a target rich environment!

I would play that video of Obama’s from 2007 describing how he’s going to gut the Department of Defense, over and over and over and over again.

We have to stop playing “not to lose” and get into “play to win” mode. Pull the trigger!

Twice in my life I have belonged to a union. First real job I had as a teenager was unload/stock crew in a gorcery store. After I got out of the military, I did the same thing for a year or so as a second job. Work all day, then work all night. (wow to be a kid again and have that kind of energy.)

After belonging to the UFCW twice, I will never give another dime to a union.

i could never understand how the unions can have millions if not billions of dollars to throw around, yet they cannot assist in their members healthcare and pension. i could never understand how extorted exhorbitant amounts from businesses to their employees with cries of corporate greed were not leveled with pitch in you crooks.

this is pathetic. if these unions and their leaders were not so busy lining their own pockets and the pockets of democrat organizations and democrat politicians they might be able to help improve the lives of their members by assisting in their healthcare and their pensions. this irks me beyond believe!

They still send us all their colorful union propaganda. I use it for the bottom of the cat box.

Now I understand why it is so important for unions to get rid of an election in favor of a card check. Wouldn’t want employees to hear what they will be stuck with.

    Two things: 1)

Diogenes to find an honest union leader.

That would be a very long walk indeed as “honest union leader” is like saying “honest Congressman”. An oxymoron.

    and

    2) Even if every last one of these friends and relatives getting paid by the unions were 100% qualified, did the best possible job and there was zero nepotism (I know already, stop laughing. I couldn’t even TYPE it with a straight face.), this stinks to high heaven with the APPEARANCE of impropriety. Greed will out the dishonest every time.

Yeah, the weather up there on planet Utopian is great. :)

    * The union paid about $520,000 to a consulting firm co-founded by Democratic Party and labor strategist Steve Rosenthal, the husband of another SEIU director, Eileen Kirlin. Rosenthal, a longtime friend of Stern, also headed America Coming Together, a get-out-the-vote nonprofit that received $23 million from the union.

The union paid $23,000,000 to get out the vote and there was no profit involved? Believe me, there was plenty of profit involved. And they blab about the greed and corruption in big business. Gotta feed and nurture those community activists.

gee graft and corruption in the government union. iam shocked, shocked! that they would fund socialist candidates, amazing! remember the story of russian employment: one conductor on the train takes your ticket, hands it to another who punches it, hands it to another who hands it back to you, but russia has full employment. just like our gov. union.

Further, according to House Oversight Committee staff, Emanuel has received assurances from Pelosi that she will not allow what he termed a “witch hunt” to take place during the next Congressional session over the role Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac played in the economic crisis.

Emanuel apparently is concerned the roles former Clinton Administration members may have played in the mortgage industry collapse could be politically — or worse, if the Department of Justice had its way, legally — treacherous for many.
