Sarah Palin is the second most slimed politician in us history and rising. The first being GW Bush. The only reason she is not number 1 is because of time not content.
You know, if what I just read is true, then his strategy is sound, and his plan is to be respectful and to show due deference to Governor Palin as an elected official. I don’t think that this is a bad thing.
That being said, I hope she cleans the floor with him (respectfully, of course…

If I were Senator Biden I would concern myself more with what I had to say than what Governor Palin says. It’s damn hard to win a debate with your foot in your mouth.

Sounds to me that it is more likely he is saying I wont mention if she has a gaffe in hopes that Palin will do the same for his inevitble gaffes.

What he means is the public has not been amused when the MSM and others attack Sarah and he does not want to look like an abusive husband during the debates. That is the real reason, and a smart move politically, but he can not actually say it is a ploy now can he?

We are going to see what Sarah is made of and I believe she has the “right stuff.” The human gaffe machine, liar, plagiarist, mean, typical lib Biden is a liability for Ubama, but the biased “openly rooting” for Uhbama media will never admit to it or expose it.

Biden may think he’s going to sit back and take it easy, but he’s not known as a windbag for nothing. He’s such a windbag that during the recent Supreme Court confirmation hearings some of the other senators had a pool going to predict how far into his allotted time he would get before he got around to actually asking the nominee a question.
Joe Biden thinking he will take it easy and not make a misstep is like an alcoholic thinking he will just drink enough to get a buzz and not go ahead and get stinking drunk.

over confidence and joe biden, that is how i would describe the guy. i have seen what his over confidence has brought him in the past. i just laugh, cause i cannot imagine someone actually taking this guy seriously. they must in delaware, but obamitler chose him as his vp? lol….judgement. i remember all those sunday mornings hearing biden and his constantly saying ‘judggg-e-ment’. i used to be so annoyed, but what a tool he was. i hope sara knocks him around like she was on the basketball court..
Biden has always been a world class gasbag. This guy LOVES being a Senator, as it makes him feel like a King. Look up arrogance and you’ll see his picture. Palin will light him up on Thursday. It wont be close.
Sarah need to emphasize that Joe is doubling down and running for re-election to the Senate too. So even his running mate has no confidence in Obama getting elected.
Let’s consider how Sarah can benefit here… after all, she’s running for VP, and needs only to prove herself stable and capable of leading the nation forward… her focus needs to:
1) demonstrate that the US would suffer irreversibly under the black Hitler, and that Mick will lead us from the economic morass that Pelosi and the Democratic majority have brought upon us.
2) drive a wedge between Biden-time and the black Hitler… this should be a slam dunk since JoBi is already predisposed to spout his intellectualism without regard to his running mate’s platform.

I find it hard to figure what’s up or down these days when people like Fred Barnes and Charles Krauthammer saw McCain as unremarkable in the debate last week. Heck, I thought McCain flattened Obama.
I think these pundits are so saturated with election input that they are losing sensitivity as to what a ’sound bite’ is and what is not.
I hope Sarah is impressive (she needs to be). Even then, I don’t expect it to be acknowledged.

I wonder if anyone in the MSM will ask Biden about why he lied and said his “fathers and mothers” were coalminers who worked 16 hours a day under the coal mines in Pennyslvania. His only relative with coal experience was a mine engineer on the management side who was never in a union?Will anyone ask him why he said that he was the “first Biden to go to college”? He had plenty of relatives who went to college before he did. Will anyone ask him about saying he finished in the top half of his law school class when he finished 75 out of 86? Will anyone ask him about the NY Times articles on January 23 and January 24, 1982 which reported that Biden berated the Prime Minister of Israel?

You’ve got that right. Obama goes around claiming to have superior judgment, but he doesn’t have anything to back it up. Palin has used her time in office to actually accomplish good things, and that’s why I put my trust in her.

You know something, SlowJoe might overcompensate for his reputation in this debate. Can you imagine him giving very short stilted answers, just one crisp sentence, not saying much at all?
If he does that, it would be because he expects to just watch while Gwen Ifill does his dirty work for him, and he expects Sarah to crumble from the moderator’s questions.
I think he’s cocky enough to believe that Sarah won’t be good enough to handle Ifill, and he can skate through without being the jerk he usually is.
The problem though, is most people who are somewhat familiar with Biden will smell BS, that he’s not being himself. We’ll see what happens.
I know one thing, though. The camera LOVES Sarah. She is even more photogenic than the ONE. By contrast, JoeyPlugs comes of like a sharky-smiling used car salesman, or the political version of Herb Tarlec (WKRP Cincinatti).
I am looking forward to the debate. I hope the “handlers” let Gov. Palin be herself. That is when she is strongest. If she talks directly to the American people, she wins. I don’t really care what Biden does. The MSM will still portray him as the winner. It’s very frustrating that Pres. Bush has been called an idiot, stupid,etc. for not being a good public speaker or making up words (strategery-i love that one!). Biden gets the facts wrong, says things that, had they been spoken by a Republican, would have gotten him into a lot of trouble, but somehow he still this upstanding Senator. Nothing surprises me anymore and all this just inspires me to go back to McCain/Palin headquarters and do what I can to get them elected.

Of course he’s feeling cocky after watching Palin on T.V. lately. He has to walk a dangerous line this Thurday. Biden is smarter, and more prepared them Palin. No matter how much debate bootcamp Palin receives this week, she’s on her own on that stage. She will be forced to answer coherently for 2-3 minutes at a time. It’s not like she wasn’t prepped before her interviews with Couric. However, she still came across as a rambling deer in the headlights. But Biden has to undertand the psychology of the situation. He must understand how beating up on and talking down to a woman will appear to the audience at home.
It’s not cockiness. It is over-compensation from the knowledge that he is going to get his a$$ handed to him by this more experienced than the both of them put together woman and he knows he willnot be able to contain the sexist bully streak that dwells within him.
Gonna be hard to claim innocent after Thursday. But I can’t wait to see just how dizzy the trolls get from all the spin and lies that will be told come 5 minutes following the debate…that is if they show up. They tend to stay under their rocks when they have been spanked.
