If one of these kids were to be asked what Obama stands for, or what he is going to change, or how he is going to “fix the world”, not one of them would have an answer.

Nice. Hey ever notice when those on the right use kids in any kind of campaign ad/event/photo whatever, those on the left scream exploitation. You can’t do that to kids because they don’t know any better. Blah blah blah.

Things like this make me thank my father every day that he kept me from going through the idiot liberal stage that most kids go through. We may not have been out playing catch every day, but we did something even better; watched Pres Reagan together. Watch a speech, and then he would explain. He made sure I understood very early that success or failure was up to me and me alone.

This video is ghastly, the worst thing I have seen yet to come out of the Obama Campaign, and as we all know that’s saying a lot. They fact that someone(s) appears to be proud of this thing horrifies me. It’s from another world and one I don’t want to be anywhere near.
Dare I say this is not the America I knew? It’s increasingly likely that this country is heading for a second civil war, though one along the lines of the Spanish or Russian civil wars of the last century than the Civil War of the 19th.

You know, I saw a series on Hitler Youth on the History Channel a few years ago. The kids wore their lederhosen and Alpine dresses and sang cute Aryan songs. At first it was cool to join Hitler Youth. Then it was advantageous to join Hitler Youth. Then it was, “Join Hitler Youth or else.”
The kids are really charming and the soloist has a very nice voice.
I wonder if they can sing the National Anthem?
I also wonder if they are all registered to vote.
This is why Obama is so concerned about pre-school education and is setting up his indoctrination camps all over the US.

Someone ought to say it explicitly: this is how Hitler and Stalin tightened their grasp on their people. They indoctrinated the children and turned the children’s loyalty away from their parents and family and toward the person of the leader.
We used to indoctrinate our children in the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and church groups where they learned love and loyalty to their country and the ideals our nation is based on.

I think the parents of all those kids are hoping Obama’s healthcare includes free braces.

I see lots of scary parents wandering around town, with tots in tow, donning their wee Obamawear. It’s freakish in a big way. It’s rather fluffy and nondescript really.
But I suppose if you’re willing to plunk down $20 dollars each for each kids’ tee-shirt, it’s a worthwhile investment. Rather than actually having a discussion with people they simply point to their shirt and say “Vote Obama! No more Bush!”

Its all pathetic really, so I’ve started my own counter-grassroots indoctrination program.
I have become the after-school bus home for my teenage daughters friends. While I am driving them, I just ask them random questions about what they, their friends, their teachers and their parents think about the election.
The usual answer I get is “Obama” and “Bush is stupid”.
I dont come out and argue that Obama is the wrong choice either. I just treat them as adults and let them think about what I ask them. I tell them to think about WHY they made their original answers (the usual answer is “I dont know”) and they should not just take for granted what anyone else tells them.
3 of them are now realizing that Republicans are probably the better answer.
Last night, my daughter even video-taped Glenn Beck’s CNN segment on her cell phone and sent the video to her friends. (That was her idea and caught me completely by surprise)

What is depressing and even more frightening than Obama is not that the average voter does not care about this kind of thing. They are involved in whatever their life is, have little interest in politics, and give these things a passing glance.
What is depressing and frightening is the media, who HAS the information, sees it, understands it and still gives Obama a pass. If Hillary, Biden, Dodd or someone like them were running, I can understand their supporting their choice.
But Obama is not like any of them; the plane, the logo, the Greek temple, ACORN, Bill Ayers, the Truth Squads, little Mao-like kiddie chorus’, etc. With all that evidence you see the media, ALL OF THEM, providing aid and comfort to him. It is astonishing.
I used to marvel how in a country like Germany a Hitler could come to power. Now I see how frightenly easy it can be.

Exactly. When Kelo came down, I remember having a discussion with my old masters of public policy professor (a wonderful old liberal — we still keep in contact. He’s crazy but always worth a good laugh), and I told him the first thing that would happen is that governments would start going after nonprofit land-owners, i.e. churches. He laughed and laughed, thinking that would never happen. No sooner did it pass than some southern churches began getting seized by local govts in the name of economic development and expanding the tax base.

Given the right doseage of carefully-spoonfed propaganda, any group of children can easily be convinced to sing songs in favour of, or against, just about anything–because they really don’t know what they’re singing, only that the words make them ‘feel good.’
History is replete with analogies: The Red Guards of China, the teenage worshipers of that odd fellow from Vienna back in ‘33, the Young Pioneers of the USSR, the Khmer Rouge of Cambodia: All children, all happily singing and marching in support of an adult agenda, all firmly believing that they can ‘make a difference’ and ‘change the world for the better’.
