The Obama Children’s Chorus

By Michelle Malkin  •  September 30, 2008 11:52 AM

Everyone’s asking me to post the “Sing for Change” video linked on Drudge. If you don’t want to ruin your lunch, don’t watch. To paraphrase the Other Michelle, this Mao-like music is not helping my children.

Or my ears:

***

Commenter Brian NY: “Wow, that looked like Bill and Bernadine’s sun room in Hyde Park. Why did they leave out the verse about our ‘Glorious Leader’ and ‘two legs baaad, four legs gooood?’”

I am reminded of this:

***

Who’s behind this? Hollyweird libs and MSM moguls, of course.

One of my few childhood memories was the 1964 election, I had just turned 8 years old. I hardly remember anything else from then, but I recall taping a handmade “Goldwater” sign on my bedroom ceiling, which was a kind of wood slat, and I used black electrical tape, which left a black residue, which bothered me. That’s why I remember it. And I pointed out to my parents that “Democrats” sounded like “Dirty rats”. But they didn’t push me to do any of that. They were for Goldwater, so I was too. And I came up with “Dirty Rats” on my own. That’s just stuff kids do. No indoctrination on my parents’ part. Just a kid being a kid.

If one wishes to change a society, you change its most fundamental views and outlooks on life, government, religion, economics, family, etc. We’re losing this battle of cultural paradigms, hence the war, and we don’t even realize it.

Clinton had a similar personality as prez. Bush, I don’t think he could care less about garlands thrown his way. Which is a good thing I guess, since he’s not getting many of them!

But that’s shouldn’t be a primary trait of the prez of the US — the ability to bask in the spotlight of public adulation. Obama, what a smile, and a black man who made it, a family, wealth, he’s got it all. He’s got to get his teeth whitened, don’t you think?

You know, I saw a series on Hitler Youth on the History Channel a few years ago. The kids wore their lederhosen and Alpine dresses and sang cute Aryan songs. At first it was cool to join Hitler Youth. Then it was advantageous to join Hitler Youth. Then it was, “Join Hitler Youth or else.”

And then, in 1944/1945, it was “Here is your K.98k, your, ammunition, your bayonet, and your helmet. It’s time to fight to defend Der Fuehrer with your very life.”

This makes me sick to my stomach. I’m going to swing by the gun shop and buy that bulk ammunition I’ve been putting off.

From The Idea of a Christian Society:

The term democracy, as I have said again and again, does not contain enough positive content to stand alone against the forces that you dislike – it can be easily be transformed by them. If you will not have God (and He is a jealous God) you should pay your respects to Hitler or Stalin.

And the tendency of unlimited industrialism is to create bodies of men and women – of all classes – detached from tradition, alienated from religion, and susceptible to mass suggestion: in other words, a mob. And a mob will be no less a mob if it is well fed, well clothed, well housed, and well disciplined.

A Christian society only becomes acceptable after you have fairly examined the alternatives. We might, of course, merely sink into an apathetic decline: without faith, and therefore without faith in ourselves; without a philosophy of life, either Christian or pagan; and without art. Or we might get a “totalitarian democracy”, different but having much in common with other pagan societies, because we shall have changed step by step in order to keep pace with them: a state of affairs in which we shall have regimentation and conformity, without respect for the needs of the individual soul; the puritanism of a hygienic morality in the interests of efficiency; uniformity of opinion through propaganda, and art only encouraged when it flatters the official doctrines of the time. – T.S. Eliot

Paul, a person with Narcissistic Personality Disorder lives for “narcissistic supply”. They are always in pursuit of it and cannot get enough. If they don’t get enough narcissistic supply they display very nasty and bizarre behavior, much like when they are criticized because they cannot take criticism.

I remember they also used to say “resistance is futile.” I’m trying to be optimistic that Star Fleet (the good guys) win in the end!

    Here you go:

The sun on the meadow is summery warm
The stag in the forest runs free
But gathered together to greet the storm
    Tomorrow belongs to me
    Tomorrow belongs to me

The branch on the linden is leafy and green
The Rhine gives it’s gold to the sea
But somewhere a glory awaits unseen
    Tomorrow belongs to me
    Tomorrow belongs to me

The babe in his cradle is closing his eyes
    The blossom embraces the bee
But soon says a whisper, arise, arise
    Tomorrow belongs to me
    Tomorrow belongs to me

Now Fatherland, Fatherland, show us the sign
Your children have waited to see
The morning will come when the world is mine
    Tomorrow belongs to me
    Tomorrow belongs to me

    Tomorrow belongs
    Tomorrow belongs
    Tomorrow belongs to me!

This is so PC I think my head may explode. Not only is the song and using of children nauseating. But they look like a singing “Benneton” ad from the early 90s. On top of that they are using sign language so no one will be left out. The only thing more disturbing was that vacant look on the parents faces. I saw a show last night on the “Heavens Gate” cult. They have that same glazed over “take me to your leader”look. Truly disturbing. Add to that the time it must have taken to teach these kids (no easy task) the song and signing? Wow. Creepy man. Really creepy.

So, have they made these young singers into members of the Young Communist League(YCL)?

Let us remember that building a bigger, stronger YCL was a clearly stated goal in the Report to the National Committee [of the Communist Party USA] on November 21, 2004:

Our banner for 2004 was “Build Unity – Defeat Bush and the Ultra-Right.” Our method was an all-out effort with the broad labor-led democratic front against extreme right-wing reaction; and within that all-out for a bigger, stronger Communist Party and YCL.

Along with our allies, we can be very proud of great accomplishments that will carry us forth even in the dreaded and stormy waters of a second term for George W. Bush.

As Communists, we experienced, we saw, we knew the brutality of this crowd poised to rip any chance for a decent job, decent healthcare, decent retirement, or decent education from working class people; prepared to wage war on Iraq and the world for hegemony and control; armed with the poison of racism and bigotry and red-baiting meant to serve the fatal blow to any opposition.

History had taught us that to reverse this extreme reaction would take the broadest possible coalition of left and center forces with the strength of labor, African American, Latino and women at the core. We also understood that building the Communist Party as part of that effort would be the best way to secure the movement for the future, toward a more advanced program.
