   What really irks me about C-Span is how they treat seminar callers. Someone will call in on the Republican line and the instant they say “I’ve been a Republican all my life, but” I know that they’ve never been a Republican at any time in their lives and that they’re going to rip into the Republicans with the daily DNC talking points. Of course the moderator never gets it and lets them go on and on and on.
   The line for “independents” also tends to be the line for people further left than the standard libersl - so between the seminar callers, and two lines for democrats and liberals it’s a wonder that any Conservatives ever make it through to be heard.

    Luckily, I don’t live in those BDS areas, but I do believe that many of those BDS sufferers are transplants from “colder” places. Some of us native Floridians actually know how to punch holes in paper ballots.

    Don’t kid yourself, Dems can punch a hole just fine. But they believe they are ordained to be our masters so anything that wins, including cheating, is right and proper.

    case in point the current financial mess. If the people of this country were actually paying attention and not listening to the leftist press no Democrat would be elected to office in this country for two generations. It is sad that the Democrats created this mess with their social engineering schemes, forcing lenders to make mortage loans to people who could not pay them back. But the saddest thing of all is that the same people who created the mess are now supposedly “fixing” it.

    Actually, I am surprised that Pres. Bush made it through (almost) his entire 8 years without any real attempts on his life. His security team must be fantastic. With all the hatred out there, that was something I feared the most.

    This doesn’t surprise me at all. Missouri had a standing order on its books to exterminate Mormons until 1976. Correct me if I’m wrong, but Missouri Mormons were US citizens–yet couldn’t rely on the government of that state to protect their rights.

    At least MO has precedent.
