Hi SilkyDrawers. The CITY doesnt charge rape kits. The hospitals do.

(Cities dont get or make the bills for hospital or medical costs (when has this ever happend)…The HOSPITALS do. This is not factually accurate.

I don't think the article above proved anything other than a distraction. And whether or not a women was charged for a rape kit, is of no importance and tries to shine a light away from the enacted policy that was degrading and unjustifiable.

During the time Palin was mayor of Wasilla, her city was not the only one in Alaska charging rape victims. Experts testified before the Legislature that in a handful of small cities across Alaska, law enforcement agencies were charging victims or their insurance "more than sporadically."

Governor, what about that?
