GOP wins court round against voter fraud-friendly Ohio Sec. of State
I’ve been telling you to keep an eye on Ohio’s voter fraud-friendly Democrat Secretary of State, Jennifer Brunner. Good news: A judge in the Buckeye State is keeping an eye on her, too. And keeping her in check. The GOP just won a very significant court round against her:
Republicans have won a round with Democratic Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner in what’s turned into an ongoing dispute over voting procedures.
A unanimous Ohio Supreme Court on Thursday, Oct. 2, ordered Brunner to tell county boards of elections not to reject applications for absentee ballots because of an unmarked box next to next to a statement that the applicant is a qualified elector.
“No vital public purpose or public interest is served by rejecting electors’ applications for absentee ballots because of an unmarked check box next to a qualified-elector statement,” the Supreme Court decision said.
The absentee ballot applications in question were supplied by Republican presidential candidate John McCain’s campaign. Other application forms for absentee ballots don’t include the boxes.
Now, it’s time to turn up the heat on the early voting shenanigans and Homeless Ohioans for Obama registration drive and denial of access to GOP poll observers.

And we’re supposed to trust the governor in not having someone trash those registrations, right? Sure. I believe her.
NOT.
Yeah, where’s the lawsuit for these “homeless” registration drives for the Obama campaign? Funny, you don’t see any homeless people voting for McCain.
I guess we know where Obama’s hoodwinked constituency lies…
Nice crowd.
Is this the court that is allowing voters to register and vote on the same day?
Two sets of rules , one for the democrats another for Republicans. How democratic.
Sarc off
That figures.
Like I’ve said all along, this is John McCain’s race to lose and he intends on doing so.
It’s a step in the right direction.
Once again folks, let’s not forget BO’s MO.
By any means necessary.
How does this help my children do their thug thizzle?
If the homeless can vote, what’s to stop Obambi from taking the homeless in Solid blue states and “Moving” them to Ohio?
O/T Please Mrs. Malkin, can you comment on Cynthia McKinny’s latest conspiracy theory? Pretty Please with sugar on top.
The GOP has found a spine!!!? YEH!!!!
turn it up!
the idea that someone cannot see the destruction this causes, to our system of government and to the checks and balances within that system, which is provided by these free and fair elections, does amaze me. their win at all costs blinds some of them to the inherent damage to our freedoms. i believe that some just really do not care and are hoping that our system is destroyed. i would like to think, that they number in the minority, but am beginning to wonder.
the most frightening to me is that the corruption seems to be rampant within our system. sometimes i think the only way we can fix this is by a revolt. i did not feel that way until this year. now, it almost seems as the only way to fix this mess. we are losing our rights to lobby our congress, we are losing our rights to oppose those on the other side of the political spectrum without legal persecution and our votes are being tossed aside. when and how will this end?
BTW-McCain cast a “yes” vote on the floor last night…
He’s still REEEaching …
I’m saying no thing about LOTE>>>
BUT-does he want to lose our vote?
It’s easy to destroy, and it only takes a few people to be committed to it. Of all the people who perished in the WTC twin towers’ destruction, only eight wanted those buildings to fall.
The people involved in destroying our country are relatively few in number, but they can wreak major havoc. We have to be vigilant all the time.
Come on, just because you can register and vote the same day? Sounds a little far-fetched…
gco, re: Of all the people who perished in the WTC twin towers’ destruction, only eight wanted those buildings to fall.
As a New Yorker I must beg to differ! We all saw the dancing in the street by some “members of society”… who by the grace of political correctness were not strung from light posts. And then of course there were those sitting in pews far away calling for God to Damn America. No there were a lot more than eight. There are still a lot more than eight. This is not an election, this is a war. Can you deal with that? Can you?
Verily, verily I say unto thee do not call upon martyrs in vain… for the time is at hand.
He’s already got ACORN working on getting them bussed in from the other 56 states
Yay! Our OH Supremes actually did something right for once. Whether it does any good or not, I’m glad to see that they’ve clearly taken a stand. As Brosnan noted last week, by state law here even your name and address on a napkin is sufficient voter registration info; the checkbox cannot commute that.
Not really: in Ohio you have to be a resident for 30 days to vote here, by state law. If you have no permanent address, how does the registrar verify that you don’t actually live in KY, MI, IN, PA, or WV, all of which border us? Honestly, it cannot stand and still abide the election law.
Yeah, Obama’s even bussing the homeless in from Hawaii.
Unlike Florida in 2000, I can see this Ohio vote end up in the courts BEFORE election day.
Don’t underestimate the Carriage on Obambi’s bus. It’s pretty High in order to thow all his peeps under it. I’m sure he can drive from Hawaii with no problem. How deep can the ocean be anyway? Plus, Obambi’s bus can ride on water if he wants it to.
If you’re following Ohio, you’d do well to check out Cleveland talker Bob Franz. A rep from Brunner’s office called in today to explain why observers were barred, and it’s as pathetic as you’d expect.
I’m sure Jennifer Brunner will do all she can to disqualify absentee ballots from Active Duty Military Personnel, Reserve, and Guard personnel deployed or serving outside of the state of Ohio. Reminds me of how Florida was throwing out GIs ballots back in the 2000 debacle. No low down dirty cheating trick too low for a Democrat, but I am shocked that someone is actually keeping an eye on this blatant violation of law.
It’s nice to see something being done by the GOP before the damage is complete.
Progress.
I specified the ones who perished; it’s in your quotation of me. The point is that much damage can be done by the efforts of a relative few.
Yes, this is a war, and the enemies are outnumbered. Unfortunately, they’re outnumbered by cowards who won’t, for example, impose consequences on them for being gleeful over the death of innocents. That’s why we’re losing. Deal with that.
If voting is only about counting warm bodies, then democracy fails. That is why so called democracies like India will fail against China where they don’t have the vote charade. Too many people can be bussed and bribed any way you want.
That is the future we face – 2008 is just the preview. UNLESS WE ACT NOW and GIVE UP THE PC CHARADE…
brooklyn red that was over in Bed Sty if I remember right.
I heard a woman call Glenn Beck’s show yesterday, to tell how helpful Ohio ACORN volunteers registered her son to vote.
He’s 16 years old.
Holy Crap.
If ACORN were registering illegal voters for McCain, the UN would demand election oversight.
I thank you, Jesus, that corruption is being exposed, prosecuted, convicted, and prevented.
Here at the liberal heart of Ohio-MM’s alma mater-organizers accosted students in front of the library. They loaded the willing kids onto buses, and drove them to the County Board of Elections to register and vote as residents. They might have accidently included a republican or two in their roundup, but I doubt it. This went on much of the day, and will probably continue today. When asked why she doesn’t vote by absentee ballot from her home state, one student said her vote wouldn’t count there, because it was already decided. Dems are making sure it’s already decided in Ohio, too.
ohio let non resident students vote, let 16 year olds vote, let homeless vote, let criminals vote, all in the name of political correctness and affirmative action. someone should sue the state of ohio, because i’m sure the out of state tuition for colleges there comes from residency and ohio is now saying that students are residents at least for voting purposes, so why not for in state tuition? wouldn’t that serve our college liberals right to lose all that money from out of state tuitions because they want to elect the ONE.
damn mr. carter, why aren’t you going to ohio to make sure the elections are fair? you and the mrs. could surely help this situation, as you did in venezuala and hell holes around the world.
