This is all about ego, and whose is bigger. Neither guy would risk sandbagging this package because of the ramifications of failure to pass something soon. Agreed, the McCain machine should just let Sarah-cuda be her conservative self, but you know that really does conflict with McCain’s “policy”. Part of Sarah Palin’s problem is that she is direct and plain spoken, unlike the DC elitists who spin and grin on a regular basis. She has to think and speak haltingly, as if she is learning a new language. Sarah is more like us ordinary Americans than the ivy league bubbleheads who dominate politics.

I wish she would just talk directly and to hell with the media rabble, because no matter what she says, or how she says it, they will obfuscate and lie.
