Palin-bashing Associated Press cries “RAAAACISM!”
Putting the “Ass” in “Associated Press,” one of the wire service’s Obama water-carriers attempts to smear Sarah Palin as a racist for spotlighting Barack Obama’s longtime relationships with Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers:
Analysis: Palin’s words carry racial tinge
Palin’s words avoid repulsing voters with overt racism. But is there another subtext for creating the false image of a black presidential nominee “palling around” with terrorists while assuring a predominantly white audience that he doesn’t see their America?
In a post-Sept. 11 America, terrorists are envisioned as dark-skinned radical Muslims, not the homegrown anarchists of Ayers’ day 40 years ago. With Obama a relative unknown when he began his campaign, the Internet hummed with false e-mails about ties to radical Islam of a foreign-born candidate.
Whether intended or not by the McCain campaign, portraying Obama as “not like us” is another potential appeal to racism. It suggests that the Hawaiian-born Christian is, at heart, un-American.
Most troubling, however, is how allowing racism to creep into the discussion serves McCain’s purpose so well. As the fallout from Wright’s sermons showed earlier this year, forcing Obama to abandon issues to talk about race leads to unresolved arguments about America’s promise to treat all people equally.
John McCain occasionally looks back on decisions with regret. He has apologized for opposing a holiday to honor Martin Luther King Jr. He has apologized for refusing to call for the removal of a Confederate flag from South Carolina’s Capitol.
When the 2008 campaign is over McCain might regret appeals such as Palin’s perhaps more so if he wins.
Meanwhile, back in the real world, McCain continues to forbid his campaign from going after Obama for his longtime friendship and ideological partnership with Rev. Jeremiah Wright — and refuses to attack Obama on the Fannie/Freddie/CRA debacles because he fears being perceived as a racist.
Earth to McCain: They will see RAAAACISM in whatever you and Palin will say and do from now until Election Day.
Fight or get rolled.
Wake. Up.

S’matter, can’t walk and chew gum at the same time?
Thank you, Maura!
I just read through it and similar blogs.
Boy, there are some sick, malicious pukes in our media…
Holy crap, Goldtooth. You really are the psycho-dyko beeyotch from hell all say that you are.
From your lips to Satan’s ears.
“Earth to McCain: They will see RAAAACISM in whatever you and Palin will say and do from now until Election Day.”
Absolutely right!
We all knew that would be the case though.
It was o.k. for the dems to make racial cuts at Michael Steele though.
Libidiots constantly prove themselves to be hypocrites.
The libs brought up racism and since they control most of the media they spin it to try to make it look like Republicans are the ones who brought it up. Their attempts are so lame though.
Sadly, many will think that they are doing us a favor by changing America into something that she was never intended to be, only to the downfall of the nation.
America was founded upon Christian principles and with Christian goals…but will fall because her people rejected that which once made her great.
Thank you Sarah for breaking the MSM’s cone of silence on the Obama/Ayers partnership. It is long past time for McCain/Palin to take this election out of the hands of the liberal media establishment and shine a light on Obama’s nefarious alliances.
Next up, Obama donors “DooDah” and “GoodWill” are the tip of the campaign donor fraud iceberg about to hit the Obama/MSM loveboat.
I had the same thought some months ago when the price of oil and gas climbed so high so fast – due for the most part, if I remember correctly, to speculators on the futures market.
From what I’ve read, Soros didn’t give a fig about his Jewish brethren in Hungary during WWII…and, he sure as hell doesn’t give a fig about us or about our nation today.
According to the press it wasn’t her idea, but the mainstream media that just barely brought it out, like the accusations weren’t out there before:
Many of us feel that way, but you’re missing the point. You simply do not understand how dangerous an Obama Presidency will be.
It is not about how you feel about it. It’s about the very real risk you are taking when you engage in behavior that will be considered “racist” by the people who’re going to be running the government.
You are the Problem. First they dehumanize you. Taking away your freedom of speech and your property will be easy.
You think I’m exaggerating the danger? You are in denial.

The first time I heard of CE (as a substitute for AD), I knew it was a slap at Christianity. And I was insulted. “Common Era” my fanny. In my head I immediately called it “Christian Era”. One small defensive shot fired in the war against Western culture.
mccain has decided, in the interests of bipartisanship, to give the presidency to obama, so he won’t be called ‘racist’. its pathetic, the man must be taking advise from ted kennedy, his old friend.
Obama plans to make christianity illegal, with hate-crimes legislation, and by requiring all businesses, in cluding churches, to hire gay and transgendered people.
he’s a fascist, and his brown-shirted supporters are not misguided, rather just evil.
I don’t doubt you for a second, but it may be even worse than you think.

I noticed that even before the “crisis” hit, the MSM was programming people to believe that the economy is issue #1 in this election.
Time magazine made it their cover story and ran articles like:
The Wall Street Journal ran the following story on June 21, 2008:
It could be worse than I think. I still think they’ll try to maintain the pretense of following the rule of law. They could just rip off the mask and start rounding us up, but they might run into problems with the military if they did that.
War with Pakistan and fear of a nuke going off in one or more of our port cities should take care of that, though. Just keep all the well armed racists overseas and deep in combat. Guard the ports with troops who understand the real danger is from those ‘racist right wing extremists.’
Economic chaos should help. Frightened ‘poor people’ will cheer whenever assets are seized from a ‘rich racist’ who made his money by ‘exploiting the minorities and the poor.’

Sarah Palin made it clear that she was quoting Abraham Lincoln, and that the prayer was not asking for God to fight on our side, but rather that we fight on God’s side.
Not our will be done, but His.
Ever prayed the Lord’s prayer?
RedPill, thanks for your tireless efforts to expose the spiritual warfare that is ongoing in the world today. The sooner we all realize the battle we’re in, the more effective we can be to fight it.
Roland,
I think you’re right. And all they have to do is label you a “terrorist” in order to use the Patriot Act to take away your God-given (and Constitutionally protected) rights. The left was ingenious in helping to get the Patriot Act passed, all the while acting like they were against it. They got Republicans to defend it. If Obama were to become President, that Act would be used against you.

Thank you, MtsEdge, I appreciate your kind words.
I’m not nearly as tireless as Michelle Malkin, though…
Good point. The Patriot Act was ’safe’ as long as we had a Republican President (at least nominally so) whose actions would be harshly scrutinized by the media. Now it’s going to be in the hands of someone the media will excuse anything.
Principles matter.
That definitely looks like their October strategy. What do they have to lose at this point? I think McCain will stick to the issues and let Sarah be the bulldog and pound in the liberal, racist, corrupt past of Hussein. Works for me!

I am a descendant of one of those Pilgrims, William Brewster, who also happened to be the elder of the group who led the prayer at the Thanksgiving feast with the Wampanoags. Elder Brewster must be weeping in heaven to see what evil is doing to this beautiful country.
don’t think its too good. we are not mentioned in prophecy. there is no friend of israel, as we are now in the last days…an obama presidency would ensure this. apparently we follow the beast….
We’re not mentioned in the straight text, but possibly in Bible code?
(I don’t have any Bible code software, but I’m curious if someone who does could search on “United States”).
The straight text does say:
Are we “the fullness of the Gentiles”?
Do we have a role to play in “And so all Israel will be saved”?
I wonder about this…not to sound too negative, but God doesn’t need our help to destroy the enemies of Israel.
If this is indeed the last days, they will have to pry my Bible from my cold…you know the rest. I do think that indeed, prophesy is being fulfilled as we speak. But it may be a very long time until judgement day. Off topic, but speaking of judgement…OJ finally got his! Justice delayed, justice served. The only down side of OJ going to prison is that he will have a hard time searching for the real killers from there.
Speaking of media spin, the LSM was trying to slant this towards a mistrial or “innocent” verdict.
very true, and Ezekial makes clear all will know that He has done it.
I have stopped trying to figure out why the liberals believe the way they do. To spin OJ’s verdict means it is o.k. to let him get away with both murder and kidnapping/armed robbery. But killing babies in the womb is totally fine. Their thinking is so backwards, I just give up.
They aren’t difficult to understand. They opened their minds so wide their brains fell out.
They call it ‘moral relativism,’ but it’s really a Free Pass to think and do anything they think will make them feel good. Their philosophy enshrines self-serving sociopathy as the Good.
And we’ve been overrun by them. Darkness looms …… but I can’t say that. It’s racist.
I see it as a spiritual battle, good vs. evil. Helps to put it into perspective.
If all else fails, tell your opponents that you HATE them. (Liberal playbook, p. 36, sec. 2).
He’s half white, but that hasn’t stopped him from throwing under the bus his own grandmother who raised him.
