White, who is now retired from the firm, says he gave her the most interesting work he could find, in part because he wanted to see her advance, but also because she seemed perennially dissatisfied.
She was, White recalls, “quite possibly the most ambitious associate that I’ve ever seen.” She wanted significant responsibility right away and was not afraid to object if she wasn’t getting what she felt she deserved, he says.

My impression of her from reading about her is that she has a huge chip on her shoulder and is a perpetual victim of the “white establishment” and is therefore agitating for what she feels she is owed regardless of whether or not she has actually earned anything.
She’s leveraged her position as the wife of BO and will continue to do so. She’s a mega-b1tch and if she should become 1st Lady it will be on full display. If the media don’t give her a pass like they did HRC that is.

‘Deserved’ and ‘Earned’ are two different things. Her husband seems to think he deserves the Presidency, but he hasn’t earned it.
I worked with a black woman who felt she was owed a management position in spite of her lack of seniority and total incompetence. She threatened to go to executive management if not promoted. She was and has been a spectacular failure ever since. She is mocked on a regular basis and is given assignments where she can “do no harm”. Yet to this day she maintains her entitlement attitude and she’s definitely a racist.

I have worked with and supervised people with her attitude and they are a pain. Team work is not in their vocabulary unless they are the leader. They think it is their job to make sure you are doing your job and will take no criticism, constructive or otherwise. No wonder she has been pulled out of the public view. Loose cannon.
Oh, and I am not a racist. My family could be described as a rainbow. So there.
Sausage, I hope you have the honor of working with one of these “ambitious” women. You might find them to be pushy, annoying and utterly indifferent to the concerns of those around them. They see everything thru a militant feminist prism view any man that disagrees with them at work as part of a Vast Male Conspiracy to thwart all woman from suceeding. Others that ignore them are labeled “passive-aggressive”. Many times their bosses would like to get rid of them but are cowed by PC rules of conduct or fears of lawsuits. I have had the pleasure of working with truly talented, hard-working women and never had a problem with them. People like MO wear out those around them and create tension in the workplace. I doubt her co-workers missed her much after she left.

She also had two back surgeries and fell into the prescription medication addiction cycle, which she promptly took care of. I DO recall however, that Obama did a lot of drugs himself, including illegal cocaine. And other illegal drugs. He admitted to it. But you see, in the troll’s eyes, that doesn’t matter. It’s OK.

(1) About ten years ago the engineering company I worked for brought in 4 co-op students for a 6 months work / study program. This good annual program gave us a way to evaluate / select future employees, and gave the students a chance to see cutting edge radar / missile software / hardware development in action. We hired a number of good employees due to this program–many Hispanic, some female, and some Black employees.
(2) One of the co-op students was a Black female student–she was very opinionated and was always complaining about unfair treatment and racial / gender bias problems. She was a member of some college groups that specialized in these class warfare topics. I could never determine what kind of engineering potential she had–most of her time was spent complaining and talking to bosses about imagined slights. She gave herself a bad name, and was not considered for employment–who knows what her skills were?–outside of political organizing.
(3) Other Black employees impressed me with their skills, hard work, and basic decency–past problems and grievances did not impact their job performance. Ditto for the Hispanic / female employees.
(4) Every year in January I listened to the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King’s I HAVE A DREAM speech again on my long drive to work. He had the right view–the goal is to respect all persons as individuals regardless of skin color, gender, ethnic group, etc. He was the real prophet bringing on God’s word.
(5) Whining and complaining do not help–this is like shooting yourself in the foot unnecessarily! Suck it up and move on!

The ability of people on this site to twist things until it fits their warped world view is just astonishing. This isn’t someone who wanted a handout; it’s a woman who wanted to take on even more. Her former boss states tht she “wanted something that pushed her harder.” I am baffled as to why this ambition and drive to achieve would be looked upon as negative. The common complaint here is that affirmative action allows the lazy, the untalented, the uninterested to achieve; here’s a woman who pushed early on to take on projects of bigger and bigger size, and she’s criticized here for it. It’s just silly.
