This is no surprise. "The weak attack the helpless" in this case a baby.

Remember the school bullie who felt weak (inferior) and believed he had to prove he was not??

I will savor it and the next eight years while all of you go hide out in your bomb shelters or wherever you people plan on riding out the Apocalypse.

I intend to be here mocking Obama if he wins. Assuming I can still afford electricity to run the old computer.

emjem, thank you for fixing my typo. Of course "disagree" is what I meant.

That you equate her holding that child and a father who may or may not have “forced” (your words) his kid to wear an anti-Obummer t-shirt speaks more of you than anything else.

Seriously, are you functionally retarded? I have said now four times I do not equate her holding the baby onstage with the guy/kid with the Obama shirt. I equate those who would somehow make a big deal out of Plain having the baby on stage with the guy who made his kid wear the Obama shirt. Is it possible that you get it now? I hope so because I really do not think I can dumb it down any more for you.

Third, I know you don’t give a crap about Palin or her baby.

Oh I give a crap about Palin. I am scared (though less so every day) that she might be our next veep. As for her kid, I told you what I think about those that put Trig in the middle, four times now. Choose to believe me or don't.

I’ve also said that if the father had indeed “forced” his son to wear an anti-Obummer t-shirt that he didn’t want to wear, I wouldn’t agree with it.
The son is eleven and as was clear from the article and the interview, the kid had no clue, the dad put him up to it to score some political points. When you posted on that thread, instead of lamenting the fact the kid was the obvious victim, you chose to make some stupid first amendment argument, as if the kid was really trying to make a political statement. Other presumably conservative posters there were able to see that quite clearly and said so. You did not. Presumably because the poor kid was being exploited against Obama, rather than against Palin/McCain, as here. Only then do you get on your high freaking horse about innocent children. Hypocrite. I know that is a $.10 word for your $.05 brain to process, but ask someone for help if you don't know what it means.

Whatever. Geritol and the Rube are going to lose. I will savor it and the next eight years while all of you go hide out in your bomb shelters or wherever you people plan on riding out the Apocalypse.

They both are using innocent children to disparage people they <strike>agree</strike> disagree with, as emjem said.

Chaps:

First off, have you ever heard of editing your comments? This one of yours makes no sense and doesn't back up your original point.

Second, you have a tendency to lie and misrepresent EVERYTHING that I say on this blog to suit yoursef. You have a habit of putting words into my mouth. It may work as an ambulance chaser, but honesty still means something to us "down home" folks.

Third, I know you don't give a crap about Palin or her baby. That you equate her holding that child and a father who may or may not have "forced" (your words) his kid to wear an anti-Obummer t-shirt speaks more of you than anything else. I said that the people (like you) who hate Sarah Palin are using her baby to hurt her. I've also said that if the father had indeed "forced" his son to wear an anti-Obummer t-shirt that he didn't want to wear, I wouldn't agree with it. Especially as a teacher who has tried to keep politics out of my classroom in the past. Something you can't quite compute obviously.

I know you all have an idea of what you think I think, but try to read what I actually say, please.

I don't know what exactly gets filtered past that ginormous ego of yours, but I think most of us can confidently say we don't waste our time pivoting and trying to figure out what new shallow tidbit has been imparted by you. You're pretty predictable. What you think you think doesn't pass the BS meter most days.

Were you being ironic? Or does the “it” refer to the situation and not the baby?

Explain yourself before the vultures descend.
"It" the burden, not "it" the baby, and you seem to be the only one descending.

New baby smell :) This is making me want another!

Is it anything like single malt scotch? Cause that might make me want one.

I remember holding my first baby and smelling that sweet smell. I thought Heaven had to smell like that.

One of my favorites–newborn baby breath. :) Seeing Sarah and Trig just brings back those beautiful memories.

I love the shot at the convention where Piper is trying to keep Trig’s hair in place..

If that clip doesn't make it into the "Memorable moments of '08" clips at the year's end, I don't know what will!
