Sarah handles a heckler

They don’t call her Sarahcuda for nothing.
She’s not taking lip from anti-war hecklers. Or anyone else.

Oh yeah she broke it off in him…and I guarantee he was too stupid/blind to understand it.
Go get ‘em Sarah!!
Sarahhhh… Sarahhhhhhhhhcuuuudaaaaaaaa!!
I wish I could feel as good about the top of the ticket as I do about Gov. Palin.
If this serious, composed, Palin did her thing last Thursday in the debate, perhaps the polls would be closer. Instead, she did the winking, folksie, gurshdurnit, “say it ain’t so, Joe” routine. I don’t know what prep guys told her do do this, but I think it backfired. People can see through the phoniness. The handling of the heckler here was really authenic and effective.
Damn, if she ain’t sumpin’ special…love that woman.
Go Sarah, drag Juan…go Sarah, drag Juan
Pwned by Palin!
Sarah’s got that “I’m paying for this microphone!” spirit for sure! I only wish McCain would catch some of it.
SarahCuda. Nice. She’s way better as herself than as a managed prop. It may be too late for 2008, but she represents the heart and soul of what Conservatives want to see in their candidates. Even Bill Clinton gets it.
Hopefully, McCain’s people have finally let her be herself.
Time to wake up this electorate and defeat Obamania!
Put her in a cage with Obama and see who comes out…
Aloha, that would be like throwing a bunny into a lion cage, Odopey would be toast.
It’s Killin em and
I Love it!!!
McCain/Palin 08′
That’s our girl… class, guts, and no BS. Well done, Governor!!
Are you saying she’s a phony or authentic and effective?
Representing the conservative women! I love Sarah!
I do believe she could be a female Ronald Reagan. She’s got that same fighting spirit, fighting for RIGHT.
Wow…a Steel Cage Match!
Now THAT’S politics!!!
Get her some dental floss.
Mitt Romney must be cringing non-stop. His chances of ever being president are slipping further and further away every time Gov. Palin holds a rally.
It would get HUGE ratings.
For those not familiar with the microphone allusion in my previous comment:
YouTube – I’m paying for this microphone!
“BAM!”
It is a shame but I could go for a Palin/Jindal ticket in 2012. But, I am afraid if McCain goes down in flames that he will take Palin with him. She and Jindal are really my last hope for actual conservatives in the GOP at this point. Virtually everyone else has sold out with this MOAB vote.
Maybe she and Jindal could switch to the Constitution Party for 2012?
Just a question – who would you prefer to have dealing with an Iran that wants to wipe Israel off the map? Baby Daddy or SarahCuda? It’s the only question you need to answer while in the voting booth. Yeah, I know she’s the veep candidate…
She’s the mother of 3 teenagers. She can handle anything.
Oh my. Reminds me of that site that Michelle linked last week. They had a clip of the Daily Show interviewing Code Pinkos, where the ex-Marine interviewer said, “If only there were an organization sworn to defend that free speech,” to which the Code Pinko said, “Would that be great?”
Yes. That would be great.

LOL, I think MsJustice accidently cojoined 2 seperate thought lines there, Edge. But what MJ doesn’t seem to realize is Palin is the naturally folksy woman that she saw in the debate. Thankfully, Sarah’s not a politician-as-usual!
Nope – she’s teflon and fireproof for conservatives. If McCain goes down, she’ll still be SaraCuda. She’ll do the four year tour like Reagan while solidifying her stature. It’s the Peggy Noonans of the party that are going down.
lol, Sarahcuda controlled the debate the same way, and the lefties know it.
She won hands down, polls said so, not the fixed polls the American public.
She’s blowing the competition away. No matter what “saturday night live” talking points the msm and leftist gorillas bring up.
It’s Killin em and
I Love it!!!

Image: Sarahcuda Rocks!
Sorry, if I wasn’t clear. I think she was authentic and effective with the heckler. Last Thursday, she seem a little mannered and phony with the winking and the catchphrases. I think the act hurt her in the polls. When she’s serious and stays on message, she scares me as a democrat. When she starts with the winking, folksie schtick, I know most Americans will see through it.
Finally! I have been waiting for one of them to break bad and just let some of these liberal jack***es have it. Now, if we could just get him to do the same I would feel much better.
This is why she needs to left alone to be herself. I can just about guarantee that SNL will not parody the stump in Florida!
Maybe a “third party” will finally get some traction in this country if she and Jindal defect from the Repubs.
I agree that she seemed a little overconfident…but it wasn’t a turn-off for me as it appears to have been for you.
Thank you for admitting this.

Exactly.
That was great.
On another (but somewhat related) topic, did you folks hear on Greta just now that the chapter head of LA’s NOW Shelly Mandell just endorsed Palin calling her a true feminist!!!!
Excuse me, but I’m still trying to pick myself up off the ground after falling off my chair.
Peep, I couldn’t agree more!!

I agree with your assessment of how Sarah Palin handled the heckler, but if she had handled Joseph Biden as an in-your-face heckler, that would have backfired. She handled Biden very well and more importantly connected with the audience.
Biden reminded me of Richard Nixon from the footage of the famous 1960 debates..stilted, uncomfortable…at least Biden shaved
They’ll both come out! Sarah will explain to Obama about the true Messiah, who died for Obama’s sins, and he’ll come out a changed man, ready to vote for Sarah!
Sarah! Sarah! Sarah!
Absolutamente!
Right on #29. It’s time to fight fire with fire. It’s a shame that McCain doesn’t have it in him to do the same.
Unless he does something major tomorrow I think it’s all but over. He needs to come out swinging and take it to the golden calf. There is plenty there ripe for the picking.
She appears to be increasingly in her element and that is heartening. Someone who fights, someone who gives it right back. What a thrilling change from what we have had to endure the past 20 years. Sarah definitely has something. Why the McCain campaign has acted like they were embarrassed to have her on the ticker, at least until the last debate, I can only guess.
Two polls have already shown a tightening to 3% since the debate but how reliable those polls are or whether the other polls will follow is unknown.
If Juan is defeated next month it will have no effect on the popularity of Gov. Palin, she is the real thing…a caring, intelligent, very attractive, great personality with strong morals and great love for her family and country. After Barry bankrupts the country(worse than it is now) even the lefties will be glad to she Sarah running.
All politics and personal opinions aside about her, every time she is on TV, she seems like she is on the verge of tears.
For being on the job for a little over a month Gov. Sarah Palin is slam dunking it as far as I’m concerned. Look what she stepped into, not many would have handled any of this the way she has, confident and poised. I am impressed, despite the negativity from the angry left the Governor is doing very very well.
It’s Killin em and
I Love it!!!
McCain/Palin 08′
Image: Sarah has exceeded all my expectations from her 10 fold.
I wonder if he heckled her again. The real question is why is Gov. Palin wearing, gasp, white after Labor Day?
All I can say is I can’t wait till 2012 when it’ll be Sarah against Hillary! I love a good fight!!! (not saying I think McLame will lose, but I don’t see him actually telling America that Obamaram was an ACORN community organizer and that ACORN is at the root of the current financial mess we’re in, nor do I see McLame saying that “O” is only doing what he’s told to do by, and will follow the orders of Ayers and the shiekhs that are paying to put him into office now!)
Do we always have to go through a Carter to get to a Reagan?
I hope not.
To be blunt…she has more balls than the rest of the 3 guys in the race.
Hmmm…I think “bless your heart” must mean the same thing in Alaska as it does in the South. That phrase is usually said with a touch of polite sarcasm: “Bless his heart, if they put his brain on the head of a pin, it’d roll around like a BB on a six lane highway.”
Sarah wanted to call the guy a buffoon.
“Bless his heart, he can’t help it if he is an Obama supporter who doesn’t know who he is.”
You said it! Obama would’ve had a kumbaya moment with the heckler.
Teleprompters don’t know what to say to hecklers…
For all you doom and gloomers- McCain is going to come out swinging for the fences tomorrow night, I think we all know that. From what I have been reading tonight on some blogs, the Dems know it too and are scared spitless because they know that when JSM brings up real issues like Obama’s record they have no safe harbor. “Sen. Obama, then at what point DID you know about Bill Ayers past and why did you continue to associate with him?” “Ok, tell me, and the American people, the number of the bill that you either introduced or co-sponsored that ‘warned’ of the coming economic meltdown. Just the number senator, SB-what?, go ahead I’ll wait”
The dems I’ve read posting other places tonight are already setting up for an alternate narrative like “If you ’steal’ this election, there going to be riots in the streets” One actually posted that stuff. No folks, they’re scared, they know the glove are off and Obambi is going to be like a babe in the woods.

The thing about Obama is… well nothing.
“The Big Zero”
It’s Killin em and
I Love it!!!
McCain/Palin 08′
When I saw her stroll out in that white jacket, I thought she looked like the “good guys in the white hats.” Either that or an avenging angel!
Who was it that said, “When you get to the heart of evil, there is nothing there”?
Ummm…uhhh…Kum…uhhhhh…errr…ba…ummmm…uhhh…ya!
Palin did well. And frankly hecklers of any sort on either side are annoying and counterproductive (including the code pinkos that interrupted McCain’s acceptance speech. Pure rudeness.)
But Obama has had his share of hecklers as well and I think he has handled them with grace and respect.
Chapoutier:
Ummmm…that wasn’t a heckler in the link you provided. That was a person being given an opportunity to ask The One a question. You’re right that he handled the situation well, but the person was far from being a heckler.
Obama would be wise to study his Gibson/Stephonafulgreeknamefakisitis moderated debate vs. Hillary. It was by far his worst performance, because he was trying to sit on his lead, and the “associations” were prominently mentioned. Hillary kicked his a$$, because he was trying to play above-it-all, and she was fighting for her life. John will be playing the Hillary role more so it the last debate, since tomorrow is the Townhall format. Obama has to learn from that dreadful performance with ABC, and counterpunch when attacked. He can’t be in “run out the clock” mode, because negative attacks work unless you fight back hard, and or spin the narrative sufficiently. This going to be a long, ugly 29 days.
I wouldn’t underestimate this broad. I think she’s good on the stump, and was frustratingly good at the convention. If she alters the stylistic things I mentioned earlier, and continues to learn the policies, she’ll be a force to reckoned with. If she continues the schtick, she’ll be a laughingstock outside of her base.
Maybe we disagree about what a heckler is, but that occurred, as I recall, during his stump speech, not an open Q and A.
Yeah…here is Fox’s account:
I think we agree about what a heckler is. When I first read the link, I got the impression it was an open Q and A session due to the protester relinquishing a microphone, so fair enough.
Bless her. The love of my life is in Iraq. I’m so glad she wears a Blue Star pin. As a former hockey mom, I could give a fig about all the hockey mom talk. It’s all about the Blue Star, baby!
I realize I wasn’t clear above…I guess it was a sort of hybrid heckler/Q and A type situation.
Whatever. Palin was doin it rite, akshually.
If only differences of opinion could always be settled this quickly and politely…
I just tried to watch the video and it said it was no longer available.
How do you think you sneak up on a Polar Bear?
Maybe so, but he was lying his tail off.

purplepeep, thank you so much for posting that link!
Even being a Reagan fan, I had never seen that before.
Yes, I’d say that Sarah Palin has a lot in common with Ronald Reagan.
Again, thank you.
If you’d be so kind as to point out where I’d be much obliged.
What she said, “you know what sir….”
What she was thinking, “…and if I had my Bowie knife you would be a ma’am…”.
Instead, she did it with words…
Your analysis of what McCain will do and Obama should do with respect to the debate tommorrow is spot on. I agree.
Compare her quick response to Barack ‘Teleprompter Addiction’ Uh-Bama, who can’t even string together an intelligible sentence when the little letters stop scrolling across the screen.
Republicans say all the time that the troops in Iraq are fighting for our freedom. But the Iraqis never once infringed upon our freedom as Americans, right? So, could someone explain Palin’s logic to me?
Did you miss the last presidential debate that Obama won, where he didn’t have a teleprompter? Did you miss the part where Sarah Palin is the one who literally can’t string a sentence together when she doesn’t have a teleprompter when she’s being interviewed for a news network? Goshdarnit, you sure are being selective in the extreme.
Scottthong – Thank you for that link. Hilarious, but also scary.
Mookie – You couldn’t be more wrong. Mitt Romney, like his father, has only the best interests of this country at heart. He wants only to serve. There is no way he is ‘cringing’ because of presidential aspirations slipping away.
Omu – Our Troups fighting in Iraq are indeed fighting for our freedom! They have been drawing terrorists there and fighting there to keep them from here. They have been killing terrorists who want you, your family and the rest of Americans dead.
That is fighting for our freedom!
They removed a tyranical dictator from power who had his sites set on our destruction, have found an killed Al Qaida and other terrorists there.
The fight there is keeping the terrorists focused in Iraq to keep them from formulating new plans to come here to kill us. And whether or not you want to see it, they have freed an oppressed people and are helping bring freedom to people who need it. It is a war we need to win.
While Sarah was handling a heckler, her “people” were issuing a statement apologizing for Sheriff Scott calling Barack “Barack Hussein Obama”
FORGODSAKE
Excellent. She’s got what it takes.
LOL at Omu!!
I guess Omu would have declared war against – and fought only – Japan during WWII as neither Gernamy nor Italy attacked the USA on Dec 7, 1941. This also means no Lend-Lease for England, and no support for the Soviet Union against Germany.
I wonder if Omu speaks German??
Bicyea:
I don’t call him Barack Hussein Obama either – he is always referred here as The ObamaMessiah. He is The One. Bwahahaha
Personally, I don’t think The ObamaMessiah gets hecklers – at best someone who wants to ask him a real question might once in a great while slip through security. Palin, on the other hand, gets hecklers that call themselves interviewers or reporters. Katie Couric is too in the tank for The ObamaMessiah to ask him a real question, while Chris Matthews has that tingle going up his leg for The One. Governor Palin gets none of that fawning from them.
I’ll have to watch the vid when I get home.
But from what I have read, she turned that heckler into heckler stew. You don’t mess with the ‘cuda’.
I’d like to hear just once someone say ” go F’ yourself” but that’s just me….
My kind of candidate. I’m so rooting for her. We need more like her.
LOL! Thanks for starting my day with a smile, AJ!
Word!
Looks like you got some Palin in you, too.
Not so. Our troops, and Palin’s son, are in Iraq “spreading democracy”. Our right to protest is in no danger and sending troops to Afghanistan is not protecting it.
When will Palin/McCain say one true thing that matters?
unless you protest at a gay rights rally in a democRAT town, and you’re a christian. or you protest an abortion clinic in a democRAT town.
when will you stop lying? oh you’re a lib, so you can’t.
You first idiot. Where is the “[insert dimocrap here] is better than Palin”? There is none. Palin rocks. I feel a crush coming on!
Tell it to the relatives of 2,860 people killed on 9/11, most of whom did not even have so much as a fingernail to bury.
Just why in the hell do you think we have not been attacked again? Fairy dust? Boots on the ground works every time.
In terms of spreading democracy, that’s a nice to have after thought. Our job in Iraq and Afghanistan is very straightforward. Find them, track them down, and kill them. All of them. And it they are at home with mom and the kids they get as much quarter as they have given women and children.
They wanted a war. Well, they have one.
Does anyone have a download or a WMV file of this? The link doesn’t show the video in any browser
Many thanks!
this was the best comment on the link to the video…
Except From Comrade Obama’s Thug Brigades.
But don’t you see, Obama thinks we should sit down to tea with head-choppers and just work things out.
I like Sarah as she is. I don’t think she’s being phony. Had she gone into that debate and NOT smiled, she would have been called a mean b!tch.
Did you notice General Petraeus announced we would continue operations in Afghanistan into the winter months? Now why would we take that unprecedented step? Make hay while the sun is still shining.
Been down that road before.
Great video!
One in the many of outstanding conservative comebacks to knuckle-dragging liberals who don’t get it.
Like this one.
The best the libtards can do is “I feel your pain.”
Cantcurestupid said it just right.
…class, guts and no B.S.
Let anyone else in this forum post like this & mistressjustice would come down on your head.
Not that I’m bothered–she’s ok with ‘it’.
I must, against my better judgment, respond.
Our troops took the fight to the enemy in order to keep them off of our soil (see 9/11). Are we spreading democracy? You bet we are. It is, among other things, part of the strategy to keep Al Qaida from establishing another stronghold in the region.
I know that there are gaggles of people out there who would like to believe that terrorism is at worst a marginal threat. These people are mistaken. We have not had a terrorist attack on American soil in over 7 years, and our military efforts in the middle east are directly responsible for that, whether you choose to admit it or not.
If we roll over and allow our enemies to attack us at will with little fear of retaliation (as is sickeningly likely with an Obozo administration), you will find out soon enough how much danger your freedoms are in. Islamofascists do not tolerate descent. And before you attempt to correct my assertions about what our soldiers are doing in Iraq and Afghanistan, know that I have been one of those soldiers and almost certainly will be again, and I know exactly why I was there.
