I have no problem with removing the “people who should be shot” graphic. After all, remember how much conservatives (rightly) protested Craig Kilbourn’s tasteless “Snipers Wanted” overlay on a photo of then-governor George W. Bush?

That’s the first thing I thought of when I heard about this. Republicans really ought to be embarrassed for postulating all these insane conspiracy theories about George Soros controlling NBC. The bottom line is that you can’t say to shoot someone on national television.

Michael,

If what you say is true, then we just saw 1st Amendment fly out the window, then get blasted out of the sky by Democrats.

I have no problem with removing the “people who should be shot” graphic. After all, remember how much conservatives (rightly) protested Craig Kilbourn’s tasteless “Snipers Wanted” overlay on a photo of then-governor George W. Bush?

But the jab at Sandler is right-on, and removing it is nothing short of pure censorship. Shame on NBC.
