Yes and the water-carrying tools in the MSM nearly always leave this out of the story. They always say that the bombs they set never hurt anyone. They also really lie when they say that the bombs were designed to be non-lethal. His girlfreind and buddies were packing these bombs with nails when they were killed. Ayers was the bombs’ designer, and nail bombs are always used to try and kill people. But the MSM has no problem glossing this over.

Ayers matters. What annoys me most about Ayers is that he was a child of priviledge who attacked the very system that gave him everything, then when he faced jail for life, fell back on that porivildge to get out.

Interestingly, I can understand the anger of the black militants of the 1960s. Blakcs were treated as second class citizens and so I can understand why they viewed the “system” as corrupt. But Ayers and his ilk were simply spoiled children trying to get back at daddy for leaving them with the nanny while boinking the babysitter,

My parents grew up in poverty that I could never imagine. As Catholics, they were treated as second class citizens until after WWII, when the threat of communism became a bigger threat than the Pope. Yet they never trhew bombs but worked damn hard to better themselves, their family and in that way, their country.

Ayers matters because he never regretted his life and it really raises the issue of Obama’s judgment.

Mr. Ayers has been a professor of education at the University of Illinois at Chicago,….

As a leader of this growing “reform” movement, Ayers was recently elected vice president for curriculum of the American Education Research Association, the nation’s largest organization of ed school professors and researchers.

What does this say about the U of IL and the AERA??

This guy would be a pariah in any sane universe.

Imagine that John McCain had kicked off his political career at the home of a former domestic bomber. Let’s say the guy had participated in bombing abortion clinics at night to avoid killing anyone, but a night janitor was killed anyway. And let’s say further that the man was caught and charged, but all charges were dropped because of a judges ruling that the FBI had used illegal wiretapping during the investigation.

Is there any chance the MSM would ignore McCain’s relationship with this unrepentant abortion clinic bomber? It would be front page news every day. Yet, they give Obama a pass for every contact he has ever had with the unrepentant Ayers. There is even evidence that Ayers was the ghost writer for Obama’s first book. But you won’t see the NY Times investigating that before the election.

    Ethical Standards

    I. Guiding Standards: Responsibilities to the Field
    A. Preamble. To maintain the integrity of research, educational researchers should warrant their research conclusions adequately in a way consistent with the standards of their own theoretical and methodological perspectives. They should keep themselves well informed in both their own and competing paradigms where those are relevant to their research, and they should continually evaluate the criteria of adequacy by which research is judged.
    B. Standards.
    1. Educational researchers should conduct their professional lives in such a way that they do not jeopardize future research, the public standing of the field, or the discipline’s research results.

All their friends are doing it, MTV says to do it, P-Diddy says to do it, all the young (and old) Hollywood actors and comedy hosts say to do it, so vote Obama to be “Cool”.

Did anyone notice how Olbermann defined “terrorist” in the video clip?
He called Joe Vogler a terrorist, not because he bombed anything, but because he professed hatred for America and wanted to separate from the country. By that definition wouldn’t most of liberal Hollywood be terrorists?

Isn’t it amusing that the guy who got upset at conservatives for calling America Haters unpatriotic, now calls them terrorists? Come to think of it, didn’t Obama hold a fund raiser at the home of that “terrorist” George Clooney who hates America so much he separated from the country and moved to Switzerland?

    Why vote against Obama?

•He believes in increasing taxes – I want them lower for all Americans
•He wants to expand the size of government – I don’t
    •He’s a Marxist – I’m not
    •He’s a disciple of Saul Alinsky – I’m not
•He’s aligned politically with Noam Chomsky – not me
•He wants to expand entitlements thereby rewarding failure (like the bailout) – I don’t
•He wants to tax businesses more – I don’t because I know that businesses must pass their costs on to all of us so we all pay more for everything when corporations are taxed more (Obama knows this too by the way but he’s lying about it)
•He wants to tax oil profits – I want every American to own oil stocks so the dividends (a.k.a. profits) are distributed to American shareholders not the U.S. Treasury
•He believes ACORN is a force for good. He worked there, he lobbied the GSEs on their behalf, he believes in funding them with tax payers money – I believe ACORN is a 100% evil, corrupt, socialist organization and should not exist let alone get any public funds
•He believes in equal outcomes and re-distribution of wealth– I believe in equal opportunity and the free flow of wealth to and from those who earn it and invest it
•He is ashamed of America and apologizes for her when he’s in foreign countries – I love America and don’t care what the rest of the world says
•He wants social and economic justice through government mandated social engineering – I want social and economic justice through hard work, integrity and the expansion of free markets
•He wants to cut the military budget – I want to increase it
•He is pro-abortion – I believe life begins at conception and should be protected and seen as sacred in the womb. I also believe abortion law should rest with the states. And, if the left is pissed because we use their tax dollars to fight “unjust wars” I’m just as pissed that they use my tax dollars to pay Planned Parenthood to kill the unborn.
    •He believes health care is a right – I believe it’s a service
•He believes housing poor people is the government’s/taxpayer’s responsibility –I believe where and how we live is an individual choice…if poor people want decent housing they should get a decent job
•He worked as a lobbyist to help get Fannie and Freddie to lower their mortgage standards so more minorities could buy houses – I want minorities to have an incentive to earn more and buy their houses under the same rules we all respect
•He believes the government should pay for food and clothes for poor babies – I believe poor people should only have kids they can afford…if they want a lot of kids they need to make a lot of money. My wife and I have two kids. We’d love to have more but we can’t afford them!
•He believes the government should require and provide education for all of us – well that’s worked-out just fine hasn’t it?
•He wants us to talk to our enemies – I want us to kill them
•He has been endorsed by Louis Farrakhan
•He went to Rev Wright’s “church” for 20 years and then lies to us about what he heard/did there
•He has been endorsed by a leader of Hamas
•He has been endorsed by the Communist Party USA
•He has the most liberal voting record in the history of the U.S. Senate
•He’ll get one or two shots at Supreme Court vacancies thus putting his ideology in our way for the next generation+
