I was just an infant when Ayers was bombing buildings, but I wouldn’t associate with him now, nor would I have associated with Terry Nichols or Timothy McVeigh had they gotten off on a technicality. Yes and the water-carrying tools in the MSM nearly always leave this out of the story. They always say that the bombs they set never hurt anyone. They also really lie when they say that the bombs were designed to be non-lethal. His girlfreind and buddies were packing these bombs with nails when they were killed. Ayers was the bombs’ designer, and nail bombs are always used to try and kill people. But the MSM has no problem glossing this over.

Ayers matters. What annoys me most about Ayers is that he was a child of priviledge who attacked the very system that gave him everything, then when he faced jail for life, fell back on that porivildge to get out.
Interestingly, I can understand the anger of the black militants of the 1960s. Blakcs were treated as second class citizens and so I can understand why they viewed the “system” as corrupt. But Ayers and his ilk were simply spoiled children trying to get back at daddy for leaving them with the nanny while boinking the babysitter,
My parents grew up in poverty that I could never imagine. As Catholics, they were treated as second class citizens until after WWII, when the threat of communism became a bigger threat than the Pope. Yet they never trhew bombs but worked damn hard to better themselves, their family and in that way, their country.
Ayers matters because he never regretted his life and it really raises the issue of Obama’s judgment.

As an aside, given Teddy Kenendy’s opposition to the Cape Wind project (one of the few places in America that use oil to produce electrity), I think we should build a wind farm on Teddy Kennedy’s ass — there is enough space there to build wind turbines to light Las Vegas.

And let’s say further that the man was caught and charged, but all charges were dropped because of a judges ruling that the FBI had used illegal wiretapping during the investigation.
Is there any chance the MSM would ignore McCain’s relationship with this unrepentant abortion clinic bomber? It would be front page news every day. Yet, they give Obama a pass for every contact he has ever had with the unrepentant Ayers. There is even evidence that Ayers was the ghost writer for Obama’s first book. But you won’t see the NY Times investigating that before the election.

why is it so difficult to get an original copy of his birth certificate? •He believes in increasing taxes – I want them lower for all Americans

•He believes ACORN is a force for good. He worked there, he lobbied the GSEs on their behalf, he believes in funding them with tax payers money – I believe ACORN is a 100% evil, corrupt, socialist organization and should not exist let alone get any public funds
•He believes in equal outcomes and re-distribution of wealth– I believe in equal opportunity and the free flow of wealth to and from those who earn it and invest it
•He is ashamed of America and apologizes for her when he’s in foreign countries – I love America and don’t care what the rest of the world says
•He wants social and economic justice through government mandated social engineering – I want social and economic justice through hard work, integrity and the expansion of free markets
•He wants to cut the military budget – I want to increase it
•He is pro-abortion – I believe life begins at conception and should be protected and seen as sacred in the womb. I also believe abortion law should rest with the states. And, if the left is pissed because we use their tax dollars to fight “unjust wars” I’m just as pissed that they use my tax dollars to pay Planned Parenthood to kill the unborn.
